I don't know which I like better: when the pranked caller can't figure out it's a prank and gets super pissed or when the pranked caller figures out it's a prank early on and decides to roll with it.

Amazing conceptual character, but the best part of this is how smart Adam is off the cuff, playing off the phone caller more than forcing the dialogue.
He was a genius at this stuff.
I had no idea he was this smart at improv! The first 5 minutes of this had me coughing up a lung I was laughing so hard!
And he based this whole character off of his shop teacher! He started this skit on the radio in LA decades before Crank Yankers.
