Black Ball GamePlaY WR you can be a red zone guy or a deep ball guy if you are light so you don't get hit across the middle by a linebacker. Or CB if you are tall to match up with taller WR
Jeremy Blake Thank you for the advice redzone threat is a consideration but if a rival school plays with 2 safeties over the top I don't think I could play vertically.
Sean Yea but I mean the plays are the easiest imo and if you have a good coach who explains it well you can execute the plays. I mean I didn't let our best kid on the team get a catch because I followed basic instructions of a play. But, like you said there are consequences if you fail.
I'm a bit confused. So I'm about to be a freshman in high school and the varsity coach told me that if I begin playing football I could be a Wide Receiver or Linebacker. And it said that wide receivers are usually the shortest on the team but I'm 6'4" but everything else in the list applies to me (although I'm probably not #1 in each category) so is it bad for me to play the position?
It doesn’t really matter how tall you are. He said they’re USUALLY the shortest. All that really matters is that you’re fast and have good hands. Also you should probably be able to take a hit cause if you can’t then you’ll have a tough time
One of our WRs is 6’5”. The reason he’s a WR is because he’s not very heavy. If he was he’d be a TE or a lineman. But he’s fast and got good hands. The taller the receiver the better. With him our QB jus throws it super frickin high and he almost always completes it
I’m the tallest and heaviest compared to the rest of my team but I’m one of the quickest fastest and most agile players too so I don’t know what to play
mm OK man so let me help you guys 13-15 if your 13 5 to 5'5 and 100 to 120 be linebacker or safety or running back 14 same size you can be a corner or wide out or both 15 5'5 to 5'11 and 130 to 180 be QB d end linebacker or fullback
I’m a bigger dude 4’ 10” 10 years old 90 pounds blocks well, best hands since 1950, stronger, power back style, can cut/juke ok, pretty slow like FB speed like 69-73 in madden, can throw decent, super good at recognizing passes that are easy to pick, what should I play
Hey IKF, great video, but just wanted to point out that you forgot kicker and punter, I know that most people don't think about that, but I just wanted to point out. Amazing video though.
Spring football starts at my school today, I’m trying for Running Back, and I’m really nervous cause I only know the very Basics of football, wish me luck!
I'm a 5'7 and 150p Softmore who plans on playing JV Running Back, & who is working on my speed/footwork. Should I play RB? Or any other position, because my coach's say I'm slightly over weight but I don't look fat?, NEED Help Asap bro💯🏈
DJ Downs nah you’re good I’m 5’7 158 so we’re on the same boat, I’m a starter on JV, varsity KR, and 2nd string varsity RB. Like my tips won’t be much but like what coaches see most are hard work and heart, so play your hardest and try FB the weight fits well with the height along with speed.(freshman) If you’re foot work isn’t the best yet play FB for sure due to it being a downhill run style and if you’re school does live practices or scrimmages then practice your moves and footwork first hand and improve that way. Once you get the hang of it it should be a breeze
My first year my coach put me at Tight End and defensive end, I was the fastest player by a whole half a second, 2nd tallest, light, and very good hands and route running. I think I would be a better fit a receiver that year and the coach later notice there mistake of not letting me play as a more receiver Tight End then an blocking.
My Football season is over but When I joined football i joined late everyone was already on the A and B team and have their position and this was one of the videos I watched during football season I went from third string running back to starting in my huddle.
In junior high I was 5'3 (now Im 5,5 boutta go to college in Mexico but cant play cus im a grocery bagger) and used to play CB, it was a pain in the ass to always jump to get to the ball, but coaches always used me as a tackling CB.
Start now it will help trust me I went into the best football public high school in New York my freshman and sophomore year I was on the bench now I'm going into my jr and I'm at least a year behind in experience and physicality and being a student of the game
I was the same. I started my first season in the 8th grade while everyone had been playing for 5+ years I didn’t even know the fuck a pick six was but I learned and I showed them I can do what they fucking can. This means you gotta work not twice but three times as hard I mean before the season in a few weeks your ass gotta run you gotta lift you gotta be the best.
Bruh I just started football and dis was rly helpful. I think I’ll prob land DE or DT... I’m not fat but I’m big and stocky. The 2nd play on defense for practice (my first practice with shoulder pads) I didn’t even mean to but I floored the runner. Anyways thanks for da help

pakgamer ur rlly short for ur age but there’s rlly no position for u to play except running back or linebacker but u need to gain a little weight, but mostly running back and good luck to yuh ur gonna have hella fun out there playing it
Well I’m actually 12 I play for the school team in middle school there is this one fucking kid who left the team and since I play running back I have to play safety as well it sucks I feel like quitting but football is like my life so can’t quit just got to suck it up and be my position all tho I love running Back cuz I can let all my anger out by hitting someone and run my heart out which I love, I also am good at catching and with my speed, agility, balance, and endurance I can easily be the best wide receiver to right
Zachary Keung all you have to do is catch as many balls as you can and dong fingertip push-ups help make your hands stronger. The more balls you catch the better hands you'll get.
Nice job. I was expecting a video on these random questions that have nothing to do with the topic, and you add up all these points, but this was useful

Lil Jay I think you'll kill at tight end I'm 14 5'7" 115 and I'm gonna play wr and cb next year as a freshman work on your shoulder and chest strength and you'll be a beast
Lil Jay at 5 10 and u r a freshman i would suggest reciver cuz u r light and alot of u biggest growsberts happended allready so reciver would be a good fit
Bro that was my exact size fresh man year. I played outside line backer and tightend and I did great. You will have time to bulk. Going into my senior year, I'm 6'4 and 210 lbs, playing the same positions. Play what you want because the size will come
I'm the same Ht I've been since the 8th Grade (at 5ft 6in) and didn't start playing Football until I was a sophomore in HS and while I'm much denser now at 240lbs, I was about 140-150lbs when I first started playing (and graduated HS at 170lbs) and by some fluke I ended up on the Offensive Line. While I eventually did get the hang of it at Center I think I would been much better suited and would have improved and matured much faster and been more productive at a position like Free Safety and Strong Safety and gradually worked my way to possibly Outsider Linebacker.
I played Assback in high school. Every time I asked my coach if I could get in the game... he told me to get my ass back on the bench.

He didn't give tall people a place. What if your like Richard Sherman tall and light.
Unless your fast and strong then you play
I'm a cornerback anyone else
Callum Lewis Safety. Most fun position hands down.
JKI The most ridiculed position too. Dbs take all the wrath of mistakes on D and have the most responsibility
Sean Yea but I mean the plays are the easiest imo and if you have a good coach who explains it well you can execute the plays. I mean I didn't let our best kid on the team get a catch because I followed basic instructions of a play. But, like you said there are consequences if you fail.
Callum Lewis CBForLyfe
Callum Lewis strong safety fuckboiiii ☝
I'm a bit confused. So I'm about to be a freshman in high school and the varsity coach told me that if I begin playing football I could be a Wide Receiver or Linebacker. And it said that wide receivers are usually the shortest on the team but I'm 6'4" but everything else in the list applies to me (although I'm probably not #1 in each category) so is it bad for me to play the position?
Zacky no being a tall receiver is good. Especially being 6’4”. As long as you can run the basic route tree and you can catch.
you’d be fine but try safety
he might change you to DB my coach saw my height (6’0 freshman) and he played me at DB more then WR
With him our QB jus throws it super frickin high and he almost always completes it
These are by far, the best explanations on RUclips!!
I’m the tallest and heaviest compared to the rest of my team but I’m one of the quickest fastest and most agile players too so I don’t know what to play
Defensive end

Look at julio
Tight end on offense and defensive end on defense 💯

I am now realizing that DT would be a better fit for me.
@@nicholashaines5570 DT is fun as fuck you just get to be a big ass bowling ball and hit runningbacks
mm OK man so let me help you guys 13-15
if your 13 5 to 5'5 and 100 to 120 be linebacker or safety or running back
14 same size you can be a corner or wide out or both 15 5'5 to 5'11 and 130 to 180 be QB d end linebacker or fullback
Clementines Father what about 14 6’2 220
I'm safety 17 and 5'11 190lbs I was 5'4 120lbs when I was 13
Bro thats inaccurate
very inacurate you just left out anyone above 6’0. im 6’0 and only 135 as a freshman. i play WR and S
This is very accurate, I’m a peewee running back debatably the best in my conference, and I am also a quarterback soo that was not bad
Wheres my long snappers at 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Kickers
Ayy let’s go I’m not alone
Bruh LOL 😂
Well I play Center too...
most underrated position coming from a d end
I’m a bigger dude 4’ 10” 10 years old 90 pounds blocks well, best hands since 1950, stronger, power back style, can cut/juke ok, pretty slow like FB speed like 69-73 in madden, can throw decent, super good at recognizing passes that are easy to pick, what should I play
Where my QBs at 😂😂😂lol

Hey IKF, great video, but just wanted to point out that you forgot kicker and punter, I know that most people don't think about that, but I just wanted to point out. Amazing video though.
Edits if you can kick/punt well you can play those positions
where’s my outside linebackers at
Right here. I play so far outside I don't even get inside the stadium.
ex outside backer. started as safety, moved to outside backer, back to safety after broken hand.
Spring football starts at my school today, I’m trying for Running Back, and I’m really nervous cause I only know the very Basics of football, wish me luck!
how’d it go man?

Good, I’m the second fastest there, but I’m the strongest person trying for running back, I think they might put me as starter

Dank Sox I've been told
Itziar Cantoral you should play fullback trust me
The Squad exactly what I was thinking
Thank you sir
I'm 5.6, 17 years old and 140 pounds. I'm also really really fast and agil, I can also jump pretty high. Which one is the best position for me?
OG Squags I’m not sure but what are you looking to play
@@jedodell I'd love to play as wr
Running back
wr or cornerback
Fortnite Bot i was 12 and 5’11👌
One of the shortest, Super fast, Agile, not weak but not super strong, sticky hands, yeah I think coach had it easy putting me as receiver
Like my tips won’t be much but like what coaches see most are hard work and heart, so play your hardest and try FB the weight fits well with the height along with speed.(freshman)
If you’re foot work isn’t the best yet play FB for sure due to it being a downhill run style and if you’re school does live practices or scrimmages then practice your moves and footwork first hand and improve that way. Once you get the hang of it it should be a breeze
Maybe fullback dude you’re kinda big, but that means you can just run these mans over
De'Andre nice
De'Andre Softmore?? Forget football take another English
Over weight at 150? Do they know how much you weigh
idk why im watching this im already the starting corner on my team lol
My first year my coach put me at Tight End and defensive end, I was the fastest player by a whole half a second, 2nd tallest, light, and very good hands and route running. I think I would be a better fit a receiver that year and the coach later notice there mistake of not letting me play as a more receiver Tight End then an blocking.
My Football season is over but
When I joined football i joined late everyone was already on the A and B team and have their position and this was one of the videos I watched during football season I went from third string running back to starting in my huddle.
Kam Chancellor is a SS and he is built like a LB with CB speed
Kayden 2569 he doesn't have corner back speed
Kayden 2569 he's slow as crap and can't cover he just hits really hard to break stuff up
Kayden 2569 he isn't built like a linebacker he's built like a corner
Sel Randolph kam is 6'3 230lbs
he can be a small linebacker, definitely too big for corner
Im perfect for WR I’m short as hell, light ,fast, ok agility and week as hell
Ramon Arr__ is there a lot of contact at wr?
Ikem Ikekpeazu yes they have to tackle you to get you down
I'm about 6' 215 with horrible desicion making. What position should I play?
Play the Trumpet
Butch Jones Full Back. Just smash through those dudes no need to make decisions
Center
I'm about 6' (and growing) 140 lbs. as a HS sophomore. (Yes, I know I'm light as a feather) what should I play?
Michael Wilkinson I would probably put you at defensive end

A 6ft tall runningback for a freshmen is TOO TALL, not too short. Play Receiver

Ryan Le If you wanna play RB u can play. Ur gonna grow into ur body don't worry. Since u r just a freshman ur fine.

PakSquad if you are fast and short, probabably wide reviewer, did you end up playing football?
Thanks so much bro! I didn’t know which position to work to in middle school so now I know how to train!!!
I’m a running back I wanted to be wide receiver 😔
LittleC it be that way I’m sure you get the ball a whole lot tho 🙂
Aw that sucks man you kinda had it I guess. I ended up with WR
Who knows maybe you will be the best RB someday
Mannie Illescas how old are you
Well I’m actually 12 I play for the school team in middle school there is this one fucking kid who left the team and since I play running back I have to play safety as well it sucks I feel like quitting but football is like my life so can’t quit just got to suck it up and be my position all tho I love running Back cuz I can let all my anger out by hitting someone and run my heart out which I love, I also am good at catching and with my speed, agility, balance, and endurance I can easily be the best wide receiver to right
Can u do a video on how to improve your hands to catch better? Like and reply so IKF sees this comment!
Zachary Keung you could do some drills with tennis balls look them up. You will also want to wear gloves
Zachary Keung put duct tape on the tip of the ball and when someone throws it focus on the tape
Zachary Keung all you have to do is catch as many balls as you can and dong fingertip push-ups help make your hands stronger. The more balls you catch the better hands you'll get.
Zachary Keung keep throwing the ball up and catching with *1 hand*. Keep switching tho to keep your hands equal.
Zachary Keung. all u have to do is go out and catch trust me it's gets eaiser
Nice job. I was expecting a video on these random questions that have nothing to do with the topic, and you add up all these points, but this was useful
JT Geraci676 glad it helped
Tip: Don’t be afraid to hit. You might be scared at first like me but I got one hit and loved it sense
I’m in the middle of safety and tight end lol
I'm 13, 6'3 and 145 I play tight end
I also play Quarterback and Defensive end every now and then
Damn you skinny as shit
Ricardo Dyer that's what I'm thinking. I'm 6'0 and weighs 184 lbs
Lavar Ball I recommend gaining weight cuz highschool will be a completely different ball game
oh my god
I just turned 14 three days ago,im 5'10 155 pounds and can bench about 160 im trying to play football my freshman year im fast and my cuts are beast but im tall and light please help me lol my friend said hed place me as a running back but i think i can play tightend
Lil Jay I think you'll kill at tight end I'm 14 5'7" 115 and I'm gonna play wr and cb next year as a freshman work on your shoulder and chest strength and you'll be a beast
Lil Jay play slot stupid
Lil Jay at 5 10 and u r a freshman i would suggest reciver cuz u r light and alot of u biggest growsberts happended allready so reciver would be a good fit
Bro that was my exact size fresh man year. I played outside line backer and tightend and I did great. You will have time to bulk. Going into my senior year, I'm 6'4 and 210 lbs, playing the same positions. Play what you want because the size will come
Lil Jay nah dude. Your a reciever. I'm 14 over 6'1 185. That's tight end for our age group
I'm the same Ht I've been since the 8th Grade (at 5ft 6in) and didn't start playing Football
until I was a sophomore in HS and while I'm much denser now at 240lbs, I was about 140-150lbs
when I first started playing (and graduated HS at 170lbs) and by some fluke I ended up on the
Offensive Line. While I eventually did get the hang of it at Center I think I would been much better
suited and would have improved and matured much faster and been more productive at a position
like Free Safety and Strong Safety and gradually worked my way to possibly Outsider Linebacker.
Bro you are obese af
