- It’s a bit confronting seeing so many make shift homes when driving through Tijuana. On many mountain sides you see little towns of blacker walls. Then you move to the touristy areas and see all the shinny new stuff but ALSO all the waste of building had started or abandoned. It’s very sad to see.
