I'm so excited for you both. Traveling to a new hemisphere for the first time is exciting, uncertain, weird, fun, strange and bamboozling. I remember the feeling all those years ago of getting on the big bird and being wide awake across 3 continents and arriving bristling with wonder, anxiety, joy and expectations of the unknown. The novelty wears off after a few times but you never forget those special emotions and feelings. It's the reason I tell young people to keep traveling, exploring, learning and educating. I think I said that to Marina early on and I stand by it. I might have also said "Be a student of life and citizen of the world" or something like that. I am genuinely excited for you both and wish you well with safe travels. Remember, the world is your lobster. :-)

Hi Marina, just found this episode of you guys leaving Aust….Well what can I say… Hey do you think you can put the captions up for an EXTRA 1.5 seconds to make a total of 2.5 seconds on screen? It is really hard to see them when you are watching the middle of the screen and seeing the ‘action’ and suddenly there are words, but by the time you see them and move your eyes across to read them they are gone. Ok. Now I realise you are going to put words up on the screen. Probably top left as they have been up there twice. So now I’m looking at the action on the video but am ready for the words up left. OOOOpppppss, now they are down the bottoms right…Oh,.. and more top left oh there are gone. Hang on there are two lines top left… oh let me pause, and rewind…. OH damn, go back more…. Now play… Look top left and now right down low…oh damn too fast…My God girl how are we supposed to read this!!!!!? I hope you guys are enjoying the new digs. Stay safe. 👍from Australia.
We flew through Hong Kong and it was the first day in 3 years that they didn’t require masks ( so we were told) and we wanted to be respectful. A lot of people were still wearing them.
