Thanks buddy just got it off Amazon going back packing for the first time next week, hopefully it will handle the SWCP couple hundred miles, bit worried about the wind but I will live and learn thanks again
I am with you on the value of the budget tents. ALL tents are made of basically the same materials and can be kept waterproof using an inexpensive can of tent waterproofer from year to year. What I would change are the POLES. The 7mm fibreglass poles bend everywhere and have poor rigidity in even mild winds. I would measure and swap them for Alu poles which can be had for 30 dollars up. That would make the tent lighter and more wind resistent.
Can u weight the tent poles? Just so we can compare it with the weight of aluminum tent poles of the same length! and are them pegs steel? Or aluminum?
The fact it’s single wall and non-adjustable vents definitely seems like it’s a fair weather tent. If it’s possible, could you do an overlay text in future videos when you’re mentioning weights and lengths that includes both the American numbers and metric conversions?
Not taking anything away from the amazing quality and value of this tent, but 90% of the reason I love it is the logo.
Just picked this tent up off amazon. Super easy to use and a lot more spacious than expected. Great review video👍🏼
very clear and instructional . thankyou
The instructions say to put the hooks onto the poles first. Much easier to put the poles in the corner holes first and then do the clips.

thanks man'
What color is this?
is staking always necessary?
It stands its own, but always good to stake it for more stability
