    In this video, I go over the top 5 mistakes that new and old kovaaks' players make while training/practicing their aim. Aim is one of the most important aspects of competitive gaming and can lead to winning more fights and more games. There are many mistakes that ccompetitive players make while practicing their aim and I go over them. Firstly, I talk about what Kovvaks FPS Aim Trainer is, why it is important, and who uses it. You can get it on Steam for $10. I then talk about mouse control instead of muscle memory. You do not necessarily need to play with the exact same settings as your in-game configuration. Furthermore, I talk about how important it is to be consistent and safe with your training session in order to maximixe your potential and protect your wrist. I also talk about the most important aspects of aiming (tracking, click timing, and target switching). These are the main components of aim. You should train all 3 areas daily. Overall, if you fix these mistakes and dedicate yourself to improving daily, then you will become then best and maybe even join yuki aim ;)

    • @davelister9755
      @davelister9755 4 года назад +3

      Fast strafes are complicated for everyone. It is something I practice the most as well, but the biggest thing you can learn from it is mouse control discipline. You don't want to be swinging your mouse around and if you're ultra used to just easy long strafe tracking then you'll build up the habit. Best thing to do with fast strafes is learn the magnitude of mouse movement depending on how frequent the direction changes are as well as considering the actual distance you're tracking because that varies, you want to aim somewhere in the middle of the direction changes to be somewhat accurate.

    IMO everyone suggests too much practicing. I have 6 well thought out, synergistic modes to address click timing, tracking, etc... I play 1:00 challenge mode on each, watch a YT video or something, and run them all again. Sometimes I'll do this once a day, some days twice a day (morning/night) sometimes I'm bored and really want a new highscore, so I just jam out and try to grind a better score. Practicing 6-12 min a day, every day will VERY quickly overtake someone practicing 2 hours a day, once or twice a week (we're fucking gamers, we only play kovaaks to be better IN-GAME. I dont think anyone but content creators are willing to practice aim for 2 hours per day, every day. If you are, congrats, you're outworking everyone else. Moral of the story, you too can exponentially improve your aim, WITHOUT spending even 30 min daily practicing. Once you get used to it you'll play more because its fun and you see the improvement. dont shoehorn aim training, if you're tilted or uninterested its not helping )

      What people do to practice and train for actual fast improvement is playing 1:00 challenge mode 10 times per scenario. So you have breaks in between and your synapses actually build better the more you practice without a burnou

    aim labs is also viable as its free and gives strengths , weaknesses, and statistics after you finish your scenario. they have different games that you can aim train for: fortnite, r6, csgo, etc. there are scenarios like gridshot, where there are 3 static targets on the screen at a given time. there are tracking scenarios, where you have to track different moving targets, like a spray transfer but no spray. there are also tracking scenarios where you have to track a single target which has a very unpredictable movement pattern. some scenarios force you to come back to the center of the screen after shooting one of the targets, and the targets also get smaller as you get more accurate, or bigger as you continue to miss. another variation of this scenario is where you are forced to come back to the center of the screen after getting a strafing target to a certain health. i feel like more people should give recognition to aim labs, it has helped me improve my aim *a lot*. there are a lot of pro players that use aim labs, they span from games such as csgo, overwatch, valorant, fortnite, r6, etc. you guys should give it a shot, they even have a ranking system where you are placed in one of the ranks: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, ruby, emerald, diamond, master, and grandmaster. there are 4 stages of each rank, i'm currently in ruby 4 and i started in silver 2! i'd like to challenge anybody who reads this to give aim labs a shot and comment your rank after a week of using it consistently, i really think that more people should use aim labs especially if you don't have kovaaks. it really has helped me and one of my friends who has used it for a couple months or so has improved his aim a ton. good luck!

      Let me start off saying.
      I’m plat 2 in rainbow
      Mainly wrist aim with high than average sen but nothing crazy
      I’m great at flicking but kinda half ass at tracking
      And I literally just start Kovaak this week so take my advice with a gain of salt
      When flicking, according to my own experience. The best way to practice it is get precise first. Forget about the speed just slowly move your crosshair to the target slowly and start increasing the speed. Since flicking is all about your muscle memory getting used to the mouse sensitivity
      I’m saying that if you keep flicking but miss then take a breather and slow down.

    • @taawesome2949
      @taawesome2949 4 года назад +1

      Um I forgot to mention
      When training flick
      Don’t do crazy mouse movement that you won’t use in game
      Like don’t shake your aim and do mlg pro style aim (they on hyper drugs abuse)
      Like you know ummm. Some mlg pro they move their crosshair all over the place when they flick
      I won’t recommend that. Just do a precise straightforward movement with your crosshair toward the target and you good

    • @bryonwest1759
      @bryonwest1759 4 года назад

      because ppl are so tuned to using their fingers or wrist only that it will help them understand that more natural, muscle-memory based aiming will come from aiming with the arm. I play a high sens but still use my arm to some extent. It's not like you're exclusively aiming with your arm. If it feels awkward for you then don't do it, but it is certainly a good point to bring up for any aimer, even if it doesn't feel right for you.

      I’d suggest that you find a sensitivity that feels comfortable for you to use both your arm and wrist. You should also just try and move your arm and wrist at the same time to the same spot on your mouse pad every time and do a practically perfect 180 every time. That’s kinda how I do it so I can get the benefits of both arm and wrist aiming.
      Edit: theoretically there’s no such thing as a perfect sensitivity. We as humans can just simply adapt the new change. Some people might be able to adjust well while some may not.

      don’t cap fps if u can. you should be aiming to pump as many frames through your monitor as you can. this will reduce input lag since the more frames you have the more times( on average) there will be a frame produced just before your monitor refreshes. if you REALLY need to cap your fps i recommend halving your monitors hertz and the add it onto the original. e.g. 144hz. 144/2 =72. 144+72= 214 so cap it at 214 ish. but only if it id TRULY necessary.

      between 400 and 800 is normal, but your DPI should basically be whatever feels most normal or casual for the speed of your cursor moving across the screen, the same principle would apply for your in game sense. Really you just have to pick the sens that feels most natural to you, or a desired sens, and grind aim training on it. It will feel super awkward at first but youll get the hang of it quickly. If you feel like you've practiced a sens for a long time (this means 100+) in game hours with it, you will know if it feels too slow or too fast. Make the according change and grind practice. Just dont get into the mindset of changing your sens all the time, thinking its the sens that's making your aim bad and not your lack of comfort or practice with it. I believe in you and keep aiming!
