It’s very rare that you see ALL actors in a film that act as brilliantly as they did. This was a very well written and very well executed piece of work. The only thing I would say is that I would have loved to watch this as a full length piece. Bravo to Diego- you have a new fan!
WOW. This is THE BEST short film thriller. All the actors acted realistically, especially the lead actor. The story is simple but it has a lot of impact. The beat of the music goes well with the scenes. The production design conveys the message, too: Locked rooms for domestic violence and empty, quiet hallways for the way the issue has been treated.
No the moral of the story is, INSTALL EXTRA SUPER DUPER GODLY VERY EXTREME DIFFICULT LOCK, since someone can pretend to be your apt owner asking lockpicker to open your unit while you away.
Yeah I know right. It literally took him 2 seconds and he tried to charge him 300$ saying it only started at 40$. Well what was the 40$ job then? And his singing was soooo annoying!

Wow, this was absolutely, without a doubt. One of the best shorts I have watched of late, to date!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Well done! The acting was down pat! Great choice in casting! I actually misread the title, thinking it was in the Horror Genre🤦🏻♀️ So I paused, and seen “Thriller”. I’d have loved it to have been a little longer. But, I’m happy with what I got👌🏻💯 Now, he’s a real Gentleman. Most would just let it go unnoticed. But he didn’t stop, until he knew she was ok 👌🏻 His curiosity paid off. Something tells me, they may end up together. The ending was great, but sad at the same time. You could genuinely see the disappointment in his eyes and facial expression. And hers too, when the massive bruise, unknowingly was exposed. No words need be exchanged between them. Her facial expression. It said it all.

What’s interesting here is I’ve watched this months ago and knowing how it goes I was able to sit here again and lose myself within the story. The characters are so believable and the story is different... never really know what’s going to happen until the very end. One of the BEST made shorts I’ve had the pleasure of watching and I believe there is maybe 5 or less I actually could watch again and again- this being one. Great job guys. Clearly a very talented group here- I hope to see more of your work!!
thank you for a very realistic portrayal of a form of domestic violence. Thank you for the subtilty and nuance, showing how fear paralyzes and warps the victim, but can motivate a stranger to help. Never stay silent; it IS your business. And eventually, despite threats to family and self, the victim will get strong enough to leave... or die.

To extremes, perhaps ....behind closed doors -- we wonder... Well, what goes on IN THERE ? WE ponder ....till finally we overcome our fear and venture into unknown territory....alone ! Come what may. In this film, a man usually called A Good Samaritan tries to help a girl in obvious distress... Any Bible student knows that this course of action is fraught with difficulty. They say the road to hell is paved with Good Intentions. Great watch !
I love every bit, from the music, camera angle, mood, actors, premise script and ending, with such a short time everything was well done. We need more people caring for fwllow human beings, but yeah he is risking himself in the process and that is what made this interesting to me.
Wow, so well cast! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I've had a vaguely similar situation in my life. I tried to help someone who seemed be drunk and being abused and --it didn't go well. They BOTH got mad at me 😑
Lesson here: MIND YOUR BUSINESS. He confronted the boyfriend cool, then he spoke to the guard...end of story. If he was that concerned, he should have just called the police. I think he liked her and took it way too far. Women will never take your side when you try and save then in cases like this...they will take the asshole that uses them as a punching bag every time. He is in cuffs....she is still a punching bag. Having said that, this was well made and well acted...bravo.

Abuse is a horrific thing someone has to endure; you lose your identity you believe the abuser because you have no choice, you are full of fear of doing anything because you know it'll be the wrong thing. sadly most of the party girls wouldn't want to go home when the party is still going on so the boyfriends would have to force like that. I witnessed once when my friend had to drag his girlfriend out of the club and even carried her on his shoulder walking to the parking. People looked at him exactly how the guy in this short film looks at this couple.

Not just that, but this stands out against most other short films showing the same cliches and whatnot. This felt like it had its own style whilst feeling very professional. 1) Latinos really talk a lot. 2) The guy is of the 10% of adult males who'd stand up for a girl's rights. When he did, he struggled because he was talking to the remaining 90%. 3) The girl is a dreading example of someone who is being controlled and gaslighted by an abuser.
these comments are a lil slow.. this was the best thriller short film i’ve seen, you are good at what you do! release more!! (for the people just saying call the cops, by the time cops do come, the crime could’ve already taken place, put yourself in his shoes) all the events leading up to it just fit so perfectly too, him getting locked out and then him getting the idea to use the locksmith, even tho it is trespassing.. but still amazing work

The ending scene got to me: he say the bruises bad if didnt register to his brain that she was being abused until she covered it up with his jacket. And the haunting look she gave him at the end that says “don’t tell anybody!”
This was was so interesting!! I could almost see the contemplation in his eyes at the end..does he keep trying to help when he’s certain something is wrong or does he let it go. The torture of being an observer and feeling powerless to stop something
Alex Bernadotte the main character should be doing movies or at least a tv series. He's a really wonderful actor. As for this, there are so many people not just women who are being abused and not saying anything.
What an incredible film! It was exactly what I was looking for and and far more, especially right at the end. The protagonist was an excellent character, very well-written and superbly acted with minimal fuss. Brilliant work!!!! #AlexBernadotte has got a great career ahead!

The ending scene got to me: he say the bruises bad if didnt register to his brain that she was being abused until she covered it up with his jacket. And the haunting look she gave him at the end that says “don’t tell anybody!”

This was was so interesting!! I could almost see the contemplation in his eyes at the end..does he keep trying to help when he’s certain something is wrong or does he let it go. The torture of being an observer and feeling powerless to stop something

What an incredible film! It was exactly what I was looking for and and far more, especially right at the end. The protagonist was an excellent character, very well-written and superbly acted with minimal fuss. Brilliant work!!!! #AlexBernadotte has got a great career ahead!
