Roxas Sora ezcosplay is a really unreliable cosplay website! they produce really bad results for wigs, outfits, cosplay props, etc. so i don’t recommend to order from them.
The broke cosplayer: Someone who wants to cosplay but has no money so they put on clothes the already have that look similar to their character but look nothing like them in reality
I USED to have tiktok and I pit on a blue jacket I had bc someone was displaying as spongebob talking to squidaward. I was squidaward and sadly the blue jacket was all o could get. Even more unfortunately, It looked like I had the timing wrong cuz apparently the video messed up ;w;
The “overthink everything”/“Perfectionist” cosplayer: - Studies the character’s movements, appearance, behavior, etc. for hours - Struggles to find the perfect thrift items - Creates lists - Adds up all possible expenses - Stresses over little problems - Never knows where to start
where is the "Closet Cosplayer" that one is very common they aren't beginners, but they're on a budget. some of them make parts of their cosplays and then use normal clothes other use as much stuff as they can find that is normal clothes, or something the character would wear some of them actually do the makeup really well and the wig styling
That's what I do. I order some stuff online (such as facepaint, easy-to-find accessories, etc.), but then I just either find old clothes and redesign them, or I go out and buy cheap clothes. I usually can't be bothered to order proper cosplay online, that's why I'm known as the "designer" in my friend group. :,)
I'm partly closet cosplayer. Some cosplays I just use regular clothes, A wig, And makeup, While some I do the full outfit. Some characters' outfits are to darn expensive but hopefully with my birthday and Christmas coming up I can get some more costumes.. 🤷♀️💕
The idk cosplayer (aka me): - is only 12 so looks Crappy when cosplaying - watches a ton of different anime - wants to cosplay so many different characters - can't decide on a few characters and wants to do them all - has enough money for cosplays but needs to spend it on something else - literally has no cons near them - doesn't have tiktok lmao
The cosplayer that secretly cosplayes in bedroom because their to scared to show their own parents. I'm also kinda the homemade cosplayer for now until Corona clears. I'm kinda insecure about the cosplays I make😅.
I feel the same, I have to make my cosplays in secret because the anime’s that they’re from my parents don’t know I watch (I watch them on my phone in my room lol) so it kind of sucks that I can’t buy things like wigs or any of that
Im the dramatic cosplayer lol I was at a convention (it was my forst one) with my friends and I was... A little too hyped up and I was cosplaying as Shinobu from demon slayer. I just ran in circles and was stealing constantly Muzans hat and he was roleplaying too so it was fun. But some people were staring at me. Never again lol.
The wanna be cosplayer: -watches anime -wants to cosplay -parents don't approve -is underage -can't find or buy outfits -is too shy to go out in public wearing a cosplay
there's a girl who comes to school in full cosplay everyday edit: don't get me wrong, I love cosplaying but this girl thinks she's a literal anime and tries to act like an anime. it's pretty cringey
Which cosplayer are you? Me: Hmm... Oh! The imaginary one! I imagine myself cosplaying as a character then remember I don't have the skin tone, clear skin, or facial structure to do it😂
If your friends don't support you, then do it anyway! My parents were concerned about me cosplaying until I promised them that I won't do any mature cosplays. If you tell them that, they might let you.
the young non existent cosplayer: - hasn’t asked their parents - younger than 15 - watches anime - parents think cosplayer is weird but support them(while disturbed) in anything they do - only cosplays on halloween, though they are embarassed as hell - NONE OF THEIR FRIENDS KNOW Edit: hey everyone, it’s been 11 months and I just found out my parents in fact DO NOT support cosplay so mission failed and won’t ever ask them 😍 Edit: hey it’s been a year and I don’t wanna cosplay anymore, I’m also 15!!! I made this when I was 13 :)
I just do it because I enjoy Halloween and costume parties. I usually help my friends with costumes for halloween and their usually impressed when I make it for them.
The nooby, broke, young cosplayer: - Only just started cosplaying a few months ago and wasn't even that good. - Can't go to a convention without an adult figure that they know. - Bought their one cosplay online which cost like 50 bucks (shipping included) plus a human sacafice.
The anxious cosplayer: the one who got their parents to buy a cosplay saying it’s a Halloween costume because their parents would kill them. Yeah I did that a few years ago if your wondering.
funnily enough, im one that you didnt mention! closet cosplayer: • has a low budget • usually makes cosplays out of what they have lying around • puts a lot of thought into it, despite them not looking as legitimate as some others • some {like me} cosplay whenever they can and try to feel as of they were the character, when cosplaying- whether that be online or outside! nwn
Can we just appreciate the 'Heavy Cosplay'. Their cosplays are so cool but I feel so bad for them since they always have to stop for 2 seconds for photos. 😅
I'm definitely the homemade cosplayer and the casual cosplayer The amount of happiness I got when going to my first con after working hard on my Painon cosplay and receiving so many compliments made me so happy
I was scared about being criticized by my family and when they found out they got mad when i didn't tell them. Because it turns out they didn't care. So i was worried for nothing. What I’m trying t say is just tell them. And if it makes you happy then do it. Because Its really fun, and if they think its weird then ignore them. And for the broke part. I relate By I’m broke as well. But being lock in my house all day gives my time for my business so i make money and can buy my own cosplays. Try doing something like that make something and sell it or find old stuff and sell it. Make that money.
@Kexivus Quantum its lot of money, a lot of time, and a lot of effort, and you say just dressing up in a costume, yes you could simplify it to that, but its a lot more than putting on a wig and a costume.

im 12 turning 13 and ive been interested in cosplay for years but i RLY started to get into it this year. i wanted to cosplay hutao for halloween last year cos shes my fave character of all time. my mom said that she thinks its cute but it was very expensive and it was too close to halloween for it to come in time and i was DEVASTATED. halloween is coming back in barely 3 months and i decided to try again , this time with a feminine kurapika. i was going to cosplay hutao again , but i kind of fell out of genshin and dont play it aymore , i still love her but the idea just didnt seem very exciting for me anymore. my cousin said she would buy me a kurapika cosplay for my 13th birthday and we were shopping on amazon and i found an adorable kurapika dress and told her “ that one. that one is the one. “ and she added it to her cart but i just thought it was the cutest thing ever and wanted it as soon as possible so i asked my mom to buy it for me for halloween again. she was hesitant at first but agreed to buy it anyways becos she thought it was cute aswell and now im just waiting for my dad to get paid for me to order it ! im super excited i just rly hope it comes on time , good sizing , nothing missing , and correctly.
same im 13 and i wanna cosplay as a traditional chinese cultivator kinda thing like mdzs but im prolly gonna get bullied by everyone in my school and everything would be hard to prepare especially the hair but good luck!
I don't watch anime or stuff like that, but I have wanted to cosplay as my favorite character (from a widely popular RUclips series called BFB if you've ever seen it) called Four. He's literally the number and I have wanted to look as close to him as possible ever since I got the stupid idea to cosplay him. It'd be stupid but I can pull off an impression and we're very similar personality-wise (hot-headed, funny, and prone to outbursts) but I dunno how to cosplay him by just wearing stuff and putting on a headband that'll give me that "four" shape- Probably gonna try to figure out something. My parent's getting me a hair clip set that'll allow me to color my hair a bit without putting dye in it, so I could maybe make a side bun with a blue streak there, since the guy's all blue. But I'll have to keep figuring it out. I guess this gave me a little bit of motivation to quickly throw something together lol
Began with a simple one. Gatering some picies and retiel them with the colour you need, try to use the most of the fabrics from some material you alredy have like cartons or cotons t-shirs to do some picies. No every one have to have eva form; worbla; or some of this pro and expensive materials; to do and make a very good cosplay. The most important is how it look like in the end and how it works together and with the costume, not in what it is realy made (that's only about YOUR personal confort to wear it at all...😉)! No one has to real know about, except the ones who ask you how you make this one or that one, cause they admire the way you do it 😉
10: the one who does it at every possible opportunity. I would gladly cosplay literally EVERYWHERE (except school) *EDIT: I’m finally doing it! I’m cosplaying Mugman (from Cuphead) to school! This isn’t a normal school day tho, it’s just me & a few other people have a weekly meet-up where we go to school & get mental support from a teacher but it’s still cosplaying at school lol*
KP well she made my life a living hell and telling people I was pregnant when I wasn’t, all because I guess I started dating a boy she liked?? So I think me saying her cosplays aren’t very good is the nicest thing I can say about her
I’ve started cosplaying in May, and in June I made my first cosplay from scratch (Guts from Berserk). And the feeling of getting recognised by people and saying proudly that I made it myself is so good. I know my cosplay isn’t 1 to 1 to the character, but it’s the effort that counts. As long as you’re having fun, any cosplay is a good cosplay.
The Poor Cosplayer: They really want to cosplay and have good ideas for cosplays but they don't have the money because they spent it all on 100 years worth of ramen.
Haha that's how I started out. My first sewn cosplay I hand sewed the whole thing, didnt understand I had to tie off thread, didn't understand how layering and stuff worked but the next one i used a machine and it looked way better and the next one will look even better!

Then when I felt comfortable I started jumping and random girls asking them if hey could "marry me"

im 12 turning 13 and ive been interested in cosplay for years but i RLY started to get into it this year. i wanted to cosplay hutao for halloween last year cos shes my fave character of all time. my mom said that she thinks its cute but it was very expensive and it was too close to halloween for it to come in time and i was DEVASTATED. halloween is coming back in barely 3 months and i decided to try again , this time with a feminine kurapika. i was going to cosplay hutao again , but i kind of fell out of genshin and dont play it aymore , i still love her but the idea just didnt seem very exciting for me anymore. my cousin said she would buy me a kurapika cosplay for my 13th birthday and we were shopping on amazon and i found an adorable kurapika dress and told her “ that one. that one is the one.
Ah man thats awesome!! sorry you couldnt cosplay as hutao but i wish you the best in your new one !!!

It'd be stupid but I can pull off an impression and we're very similar personality-wise (hot-headed, funny, and prone to outbursts) but I dunno how to cosplay him by just wearing stuff and putting on a headband that'll give me that "four" shape-
Probably gonna try to figure out something.
Sweet! Hope it’s amazing for you💗
