Bought this watch in Feb and really love it. It is basic but if all you want is front middle and back and keep score this is the one to get.

What happens if my actual watch is flickering like it looks like in your video. 😊Any troubleshooting or idea how to reset?
Not sure I’m afraid, it’s only flickering in my video because of the frame rate of the camera I was using was matching up with the refresh rate of the screen. I couldn’t see the flicker with my own eyes while filming. So if you can see if flickering, you might have an issue
Cannot get it to swipe to home screen
You mentioned you had trouble registering the hazards. I saw a question in another forum with the issue of the watch registering hazards from the tee but not showing hazard data from 150 yards in. Any suggestions of comparable watches without that issue? Unfortunate because looks great otherwise
I’m. It sure if I looked at the hazard screen within 150yds… will try next time I use it 👍
I’ve not yet filmed my comparison video of the 7 watches under £200 I’ve bought, but I have used them all.
The only thing with the combination of features, colour screen and full hole overview is the Sky Caddy LX2…but it’s probably not the one I’d go for.
My initial thought is the Shotscope V3 offers incredible vale for money, and the Garmin S12 is a joy to use with fantastic battery life (full reviews on my channel)
Is it possible to turn off the screen going black and have the display on all the time?
Garmin Viviactive 4 (or 3) is the best deal on a Golf watch that you can wear every day. Can get at least 2 18 hole rounds out of a charge, lightweight, and accurate.

Not sure if anyone has experienced this but when I set an alarm it displays on the phone but doesn't make a sound. All notifications are set correctly and paired also.
Sorry, I no longer have the watch
The watch looks amazing.. but I had so many annoying problems with my old Bushnell watch, screen freezing, pixelated glitchy fonts, rebooting itself at random. I still have the watch but its kinda put me off the brand. I'm waiting for a long term review on this one to prove to me things have changed.
Thanks for watching and sharing. I've used it 4 or 5 times now, and I can confirm I haven't had any issues with it freezing so far.
There's one major usability thing that frustrates me which I'll cover in my review, but other than that, I like it :)

Good review. Doesn’t seem like a great golf watch. No shot information? Clubs/distances?
You’ll need to go up to a Garmin s42, or a shotscope V5/X5 to begin getting club data tracking for each shot (assuming you want a dedicated golf watch)
How do I get the screen to default to watch screen. It annoys me that when I use the ion elite as a normal watch the first screen is for golf
I figured it out after playing with mine.
Swipe to the clock
Keep it there and don't push the button and just let the face recognition do its thing.
Sorry this is a late edit: I see what you mean when you are golfing. The main screen is the distance. I was using earlier as a normal golf watch
I assume you mean when you're playing golf as mine defaults to the main watch screen when I'm not playing golf.
When playing golf the watch will default to the main golf screen with the yardages, and you swipe right to get to the watch face. I don't think there's a way to change the default to the watch face while you are playing golf.

I have found that even 45 minutes after I’m done with a round the watch is still in golf mode. Even after I swiped it back to the watch face. Is there a way to keep it in watch face after you’ve finished a round?
Hold down the button and the Y N will come up to finish the round.
How do I change the time?
Got into the settings menu, scroll down and select time settings, from there you can select manual or gps time and adjust accordingly 👍
How do I end the round I’ll be driving home and it’s still trying to give me yardage!
I'm pretty sure it pops up with a summary at the end of your round and an option to end it? If not you can end the round from the menu :)
Press the button on the side for a couple of seconds and end game Y/N
How do i know when it is charged
I need to double check but I’m pretty sure it says the charging status when it’s connected….
I can not pair my phone/ion elite. A screen with ERROR. INTERNAL SYSTEM ERROR. CLOSE. comes up.
Doesn’t sound good. Id suggest doing a factory reset of the watch, and if that’s doesn’t work I’d get in touch with Bushnell….or send it back

I think it calculates it from the par and the number of putts
Has anyone else had issues with scores disappearing during a round?
Sorry, wasn't a problem I suffered when using it
I have a new watch and have charged it but seems stuck on the golf screen. When I press on/off button the watch does not seem to respond so can’t shift the screen. Am I missing something? Is there a protective plastic cover over the screen that needs removing to activate touch function? Reluctant to fiddle too much and damage screen!
The protective screen mine come with showed the golf screen with a yardage, like the one on the thumbnail of this video.
Sounds like that might be it? You need to hold the button down for a little
While to turn it on, should be a white start up screen saying bushnell golf.

For a little context I have a wife, 3 years old, 6 month old and a full time job. I run this channel in the little spare time I have and I don’t like to post a review until I’m comfortable I feel I’ve fully used the item so I can highlight everything I think golfers need to know.. It then takes around an hour to film a review, and 10 hours to edit a video.
