whenever im importing a video in the media pool, as you showed even if you hover your curser on the video thumbnail even before creating a timeline it shows the preview of the video at the sample window. in my case, it is just showing the black screen at the sample window and if i play it...only the audio plays. the same thing is happening even after i made a time line...and i keep getting that popup called. "GPU MEMORY IS FULL" what should i do with it?

I use a 2400x1088 60fps resolution of screen recording video to edit and I have to set the timeline resolution the same. Not demanding on small files but most of them I would like to do in the future would be large; would I have to face any performance issues? (8gb/256gb m2 air)

1 Make sure you're using the latest stable version of DaVinci Resolve
2 Try creating a new project with lower resolution and frame rate
3 Corrupted or incompatible media files can cause crashes
4 Update your NVIDIA drivers to the latest version
5 Delete your DaVinci Resolve render cache and database
6 Close any unnecessary applications, web browsers, and background tasks.
7 Monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures while using DaVinci Resolve. If they reach high temperatures, ensure adequate airflow and consider undervolting if necessary
