For me, i absolutely love customizing my rc's... only after i have fun right out of box then, but when you have to do that before it brings a smile.. total BUMMER Hosim.
Been subscribed and watching for a while now and always enjoy your videos. I appreciate your enthusiasm and honesty when reviewing the cars and I love how much fun you're obviously all having. You deserve many more subscribers and I hope your channel blows up soon. Keep on keeping it real 💪
Love your videos... one of the reasons why I bought the X07W, and Love it! Wish I could have seen this video on the X25 before ordering one... 3 days ago! 😂
@@Rek_Rc Ran my X25 all weekend and it's running... good!? Shocks and diffs are properly lubed and my front tires aren't ballooning, so they're also holding up. Perhaps Hosim needs to better their quality control? Currently I'd give it a 80 out of 100 smiles per mile! 🙂
@@Metallica269 I'm glad someone is having a good time with it. It has potential as a budget platform. They just really need quality control as you said. 10th scale garage had the same issues I had.
"I dont feel victorious and we haven't won anything!" Love it!😂 I cant watch you videos without being reminded of top dollar from the crow, im just waiting for you to shout "are we having fun or what!"
Thank you sir. We're planning to try that system in another car. This car could have been so good, but I don't feel like putting in the work that should have been done by the manufacturer in this case.
@@Rek_Rc That sound great. I think it would be interesting to see how well the electronic work in a car like a 10ths scale traxxas or arrma. Maybe even a 1/12 scale if you have one it could fit in. I totally agree about manufactures false claims but I think you might get some good speed out of this system. Maybe stick an old brushed system in the Hosim and use it as a loner car for kids to play with.
I'm willing to overlook minor flaws of an RC car if the car is generally good otherwise. But there was no overlooking this one. I'm not interested in gaslighting myself or the viewers to please a company I don't work for.
I have arrmas, traxxas, losi, axil, wl toys ( yuck) and Hbx. When it comes to budget rcs it's hard to beat a brushless HBX. They are tough, last a long time, cheap to fix, easy to maintain and great for beginners and vets to bash around.
Hosim made me almost quit r.c.. every single part of my x08 failed within 4 packs. Steel center shaft but aluminum drive shafts, esc with drag brake programmed in non removable, pot metal diffs that stripped out if you even farted next to it, tires came unglued, it was just horrible all around.
I remember seeing a teardown somewhere and it's basically an oversized 144001......with a centre diff. But parts at the time of that teardown was....non existent
@@Rek_Rc I appreciate the honesty. I think this a pass as well. I haven't been pleased with the X0 series tbh. But that mjx v2? Man looking forward to it, show is all the changes please and we'll where to get parts (aside from Ali express)
I had the potential to be one of the very best RC cars for the money today, and those few issues it has, are also some of the most important things that have to be good, or the whole car is ruined.
Take a peek at Jay Tee rc, same fluid problem but it performed well. Almost 60mph on 4s and survived the skate park. Not a bad buy for under 300 if it just needs shock n diff fluids 🤷♂️
There a lot of Friday night specials, in the rc world at the moment, including hpi mavericks, lots of hype about them, in some vids, my friend brought one, Mark 1 rc, he done a little short about it, spent way to much £ to sought it from new, you shouldn't have to do that, on new in the box rc, bro 😱
You're absolutely right. We actually reviewed the HPI quantum FLUX MT V1 and V2 over the last couple weeks and they were both so fragile it was almost comical. They drive really well, but crumbled from nothing, we didn't even bash them.
Wow, I saw this car on Amazon and was like the price seems reasonable for a larger Hosim, I think it’s about $50 less than their other “1/8th scale” but after watching your review, I’m no longer interested. My X07 looks to be much more fun than this is
Maybe that did, we didn't have the GPS when we ran 4s but you may have stopped watching before we got that far. No matter how fast it is, the car is just a waste of time in my opinion though.

you should be way more popular... great recording, very entertaining! keep it up!!
Thank you so much, your comment made my day and I appreciate it.
I have a 3 year old Hosim. Model is the POS. When I have issues with other cars I just kick it to feel better. And it has those exact wheels.
Hahahah kick it to feel better, well I guess that's one way to get some use out of it. I should try that with this one.
Love the sneak peak at the end of the video! I am a huge MJX fan and always loved your reviews of it
New one is up already
@@Rek_Rc Omg what a coincidence thank you so much!!

Do whatever it takes to return it and get your money back to put towards something better.

With that center diff set up this platform would be better suited for a rally car
Well at least you go a good 4s motor and ESC. Hopefully it gets installed in another car and tested for speed. Awesome job as always.

Props for not being "one of *those* channels"
Seriously.
Integrity is delicious.

Honesty 👍
Thank you for recognizing that. We generally love Hosim, but this car is just a failed attempt at, uhhh, I'm not even sure.
Can't wait for the v2 video man
I can't wait to upload it! It's one of the most fun videos we've done in a while

Yep totally agree HBX, MJX ,and recently Rlaarlo are the kings of the budget RC world, and it's because they are actually good.

Cars like that are hobby killers for some people. They do nothing to promote the hobby, they are like Atari, E.T. But for the RC world.
Awwww the Victory Winner is actually a Defeat Loser 😢
I would have respected it, if they just slapped "defeat" on the side.

Hard pass on this car for sure. It has good features, but it's not a good car.

needs work but had potential

The X07 is vastly better, even with its own minor issues.
Other people got 57 mph all day on 4s
Maybe that did, we didn't have the GPS when we ran 4s but you may have stopped watching before we got that far. No matter how fast it is, the car is just a waste of time in my opinion though.
Not impressed at all..
Agreed
Could’ve been a decent model.. Oh well maybe next time 🤷🏼♂️ lol
If they did a V2 with the issues corrected, and hex hardware, it's a fantastic car. But as it is, it's a no go.
@@Rek_Rc Yep a totally agree.. Looks like they would have these sorted out by now.. It’s not that fricn difficult 🤷🏼♂️ lol
First!
NICE! And thank you!
I dont trust it😂
You shouldn't
Its really ugly too.
