Cool you have a video I can see,Yea it will take some time for the rhino to pose a threat to the black throat. How long have you had them on concrete,1 year? I have been under the impression that concrete is bad for them.Is this a swimming pool? Maybe if the concrete doesnt get to cold it will be okay. What country u in?
Jakarta, Indonesia. I've got a red tegu in this enclosure that died suddenly a view weeks ago. Got him also for a year. It was a sad sudden death. Early in the morning, she was still ate her food, but then she died on that afternoon. The weather now isn't friendly, very unpredictable. When its raining, sometimes takes all day, the next day is hot, like very hot. I put a roof on top of it so they'll save from the weather, but you are right. Concrete isn't good for their temperature fluctuation.
Oh I see Indonesia, shouldnt get cold over there!!

So I'm thinking of making an outdoor enclosure on top of the grass on our backyard.
Is that a better option for them?
exciting video sir, he looks so active and happy in his enclosure.
It would absolutely be better option for them on grass, nice lizards. I also love your fish videos
an albigularis and a cyclura in the same cage? thats awsome!
unfair to the both of them.
Honteux de donner vivant !!!
These things eat mostly large (as in mouse-sized) insects, not mice, that is too fatty.
If it was a more predatory species, mice would be fine, but...
an cornuta? or an difrent spiece?
not exactly an ideal enclosure and I'd imagine that a herbivore and a carnivore should be separated but that's just me
