You two make my day. I always get a good laugh watching you guys. one more hole leads to another park. Lots of digs once again from you two. I can not wait to find earbuds in the case that is so cool of a find. Keep on smashing them targets out..
You two are fortunate to be able to still metal detect! All I can do is look at the white stuff, which I realize we desperately need, and dream of days to come. Looks like a nice scoop. I did go on line some time ago and ordered a nice looking plastic scoop but it turned out that the holes were so small you could hardly get the sand to strain🤔. Happy detecting!
Yes, one benefit of being in SoCal... I may go try out the Legend at the beach on Friday for Saturday's video... but sadly if I do, Christine will be working.... It was a great scoop (still is) when I first started... good luck and thank you
Good Morning Christine and Bill, I love Christines jacket I think Buddy would eat that grub It is as if knowbody dug there, such a great job putting back the dirt clumps LOL, remember the boys chasing us with bugs and throwing them at us you two are great, LOL
I have to admit... after I stopped filming I got an earful... Christine held her composure until I turned off the camera... I was in the dog house for a bit...lol. I am better at plugs but some of the places I hunt are hard. The dirt falls apart. I also remember the bug chase...lol
It's not just any old scoop. Think of the history of that thing and where it's been. Winning it would be like winning Christine Sinclairs soccer jersey! I have been collecting dice since childhood and am coming up to the rim of a large fishbowl full but never found the one you got today. I really liked your towel reveal Bill. My truck towel looks more like an alligator thrashed it. Thanks for another fun watch.
Wow, I have not even thought that collecting dice is a thing... I bet you have some really cool ones. I will miss the scoop but it has been sitting there for so long...may as well give it to someone who can use it. I was thinking I may get a golf towel that I can clip on my side... the grass is so wet at times. Thanks
Good morning Bill and Christine, nice hunt with the Nokta's, yes alot of the parks are switching over to the solid rubber 👎The scoop would be great to keep in the car in case forget the large beach scoop.
I miss the ⛱️ beaches and the fun things you'd find there. It's going to be a long winter. The 2nd park seems to be giving alot of neat things. Love watching you guys! I'd love a scoop!!!
Bill, and Cupcake, another great video, I always enjoy watching the both you, I to live in SoCal, and enjoy metal detecting year around. SCOOP SCOOP SCOOP
Awesome, that sand scoop, would work good here in Vegas for the volley ball courts... Another cool hunt..Bill and Christine, look for the 19, 20,21 numbers on the simplex.. Those are gold numbers and stainless steel ring numbers..29, 30 seems to be nickles.. 31 to 40's range are pull tabs.. 50's range are can slaw, 60 range seems to be zinc pennies and tungsten rings. 72,to75 are dimes, 76 to 79 are copper pennies.. All I find in the 80 range is junk, screw on bottle caps and can slaw. 90 and above are quarters.. Gold can also fall on different numbers, Platinum seems to ring up at 25 on the Simplex Plus.. Numbers can vary some due to soil conditions. These are the number that work here in Vegas.... Your both doing great, keep swingin...
Thank you so much for the great info... It is going to really help. I will make a list of it for Christine. She is due for some gold... actually so am I.... happy hunting
Scoop I could use. Been looking for one. Love watching you guys. You make metal detecting look fun. Thank you for your videos keep up swinging and be safe.
I don’t mine worms or grubs good for fishing you too I absolutely love to watch I feel like I’m there with you y’all still make me laugh I’ll see you on the next hunt
I really wanna go fishing again... I did not even buy a license this year...first year in a long time... to much work maintaining the channel....but fun
Cute video. New to your channel but I enjoy it a lot! Thanks for the option of the scoop. I live near a beach and have been looking to buy a good one but they are expensive 😒. Anyhow thanks for the fun video
It’s okay Christine, I bought an old house and my yard is full of junk metal, found a couple of coins, but mostly junk, but still fun. We go to Lake Michigan every year and hunt the beaches.
Great Hunt! I can not wait for the End of the Year Recap!!!!!! You have found so much in the last 12 months! I have sand shovel thing with holes, so, instead, I'm going to type ""AirPods""
Christine I LOVE your new jacket. Great color. Also the scoop would come in handy on a trip to Florida in January. Was researching which scoop to get. Good hunt overall.
I bet that was a pill box top. So cool. I just ordered a scoop for myself. You guys never disappoint. Love watching you two. Great finds. Thanks for the video. You found some amazing stuff.
At the 5:57 mark, Cutworms are the caterpillars of a group of moths in the family Noctuidae, a huge group encompassing many species. Cutworm species are often in the genus Xestia but may be in many other genera. Either way, the caterpillars and the moths all look very much alike. Cutworms eat many plants and get their name from a habit of eating through the stem close to the ground, "cutting down" the entire plant. They generally feed at night and spend the day curled up just below the surface, where you will find them when digging in your garden. Cutworm moths are brown or gray, reasonably large, and not very noticeable. If you see brown moths milling around your porch light on a warm summer night, the chances are good that they belong to this group.
Very interesting. Thanks for the lesson. I did a little searching today and the little off white ones with the brown heads out in the fields/grass could be either beetle or June Bug larva.... not just treasure and worms underground...
Young Elijah could put that scoop to good use. He was using a makeshift scoop at the Gulf this summer. I've never been much of a beach detectorist, but he loves it
I've been wanting to get me a scoop. Your's would be perfect. Great finds! I was wondering, is that metal lid made of silver? Looks like it could be a lid to a makeup compact possibly. I would check it for silver. You never cease to amaze with the items you find. Love the parachute pin!
Nice find. Yes, those are US Army Airborne wings (AKA Jump Wings). The proper response when you see those is Hooah! Those are basic paratrooper wings. If they have a star or a star & a wreath on top, they would be Senior & Master wings. You have to be a jump master (like me) to have a star. If they have a bronze star in the middle of the parachute, that indicates the paratrooper made a combat jump. Now you know. Go Army! Beat Navy!
Wow...thanks for the great info... I never jumped but thought about it a couple times... It has to be exciting! I would love to try an ultra light. I see the ones going up and down the beach that have the big fan behind the pilot... that would be a great adventure as well.
@@DigginSoCal You should come down to San Diego and try paragliding. There's a glider port above Blacks beach where I hunt & you can pay for a tandem ride. Christine & I can hunt and film from below while you glide along the cliffs above.
Hey Christine and Bill. Great video and hunt's 👍. Excellent coin count Cha-Ching. The paratrooper wings are awesome. Skydiving is what we love to do. Grubs are high in nutrition a lot more than a cupcake. But likely carry salmonella. They have a nutty flavor when cooked . 😆 Lol . Loved the video. You guys always make our day . So thank you so very for making us smile 😊😊. Gregg and Sarah
LOL...there is a grub in almost every plug we dig...or should I say, I dig.... I was looking them up today and they could be June Bug larva or beetle? Thanks
I could really use that scoop, currently saving up to buy my first ever metal detector, a nokta makro simplex im also from the so cal area n i love your guys content btw
Be nice to Christine. A hand scoop would be fun to start tot lot hunting or my first beach scoop. Then I can start adding my finds to my Diggin Nomad youtube channel. Keep hunting!!!
Scoop, I don't have one and have yet to try my luck on a beach due to not having one. would love the chance to try and win it in a drawing.. I look forward to all of your videos it makes my day.
Hey would love to get the scoop. I would love to give it to my daughter she does not like the ckg scoop with handle but it is only because of the handle that she does not care for. So that would be perfect for her.
Hey Bill I could sure a sand scoop. I'm getting my granddaughter to get metal detecting. I will pay for shipping to Texas, if we get selected. Merry Christmas 🎄☃️from Texas 🇨🇱
LOL...yeah. I had a few jump wings. One of my friends is a vet and asked about them so I gave him one. They were from WW2. This one is probably not that old but wow, it was amazing pulling that out of the ground....nice

The ‘George Burns and Gracie Allen’ of metal detecting. Lots of good chuckles watching you guys looking for finds…🛝 Thanks

Love watching you guys. You make metal detecting look fun. Thank you for your videos keep up swinging and be safe.
Thank you.... I would have to say it is fun or I don't think we would be doing it as much. Good luck on the give away
The scoop is RDogg is going to be jealous of you hanging out with his old friends the keys. Fun hunt. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice diurnal period.
LOL...I love watching RDogg's channel... thanks...
The hand scoop would be a great addition with the detector. Thanks for all that the two of you do.
You are welcome and good luck...thanks
Haven't been able to get out for a couple of weeks. Jealous of you two. Scoop would come in mighty handy. Love watching you. Keep up the good work.
