- Need some help on the Stanton STX portable turntable.
DJ Supe is a DJ/Producer from Northern California. He started his career path in January 1994, taking a class in TV/Radio productions. There’s something weird about the fade in/power/batteries in the unit. I was pissed at first trying to get videos scratching but I realized if the power cable going into it is beefy and can send a lot of power you won’t get that fade in.
TLDR the power cable it comes with sucks get a better one.
You can usually get an hour out of the turnable on battery power before the fade in starts

Reloop Spin or Stanton STX?
that sucks, I saw someone else mention that lack of bass from the vinyl so I don't think you've got a faulty unit. My STX is on the way so can't give you my experience yet. BTW where did you get the plate for the extra fader?
I ordered it from Stanton directly. Shipping was pretty quick.
changed the stylus on mine and not it is my perfect practice tool.
So only the stylus was replaced and not the whole cartridge?
@@DJSupe I ordered a cartridge + 4 stili package on Amazon for about $12. I didn't install the cardtridge because simply changing the stylus got me to where I wanted to be. But, I guess I should try the cartridge one day.

@@philross2406 I purchased a couple different ones. I currently have the "banpa" brand gold stylus. a 4 pack of styli & one cartridge is about $14 now. It significantly improved the sound quality, over the stock stylus.

You can't sample the quality is very poor, for normal listening . Only for scratch :(
Sample to the usb stick duh then transfer that to the sp I paid 60 bux for my sp OG from 06 60.00 from pawn ppl on here kill me pay 400 for a toy sampler so I can validate my hipster status I gotta have it “now what does it do?”lofi bullshit
It’s a belt drive what the heck u expect it’s a 249 turntablist deck which imo rips the recording sessions alone is sick 18650 one charged battery gives u hours of scrtach time y’all kill me research what you buy before u buy it instead of being a hypebeast cuz everyone else has it yea everyone that’s in the scene knows it has ultra pitch the innofader alone is worth the price it’s sick1 18650 battery unless u kno about vaping those batteries you won’t have a clue I bought 4 right away it came with 2 their 30 for 2.This I wish was loaded with all these goodies when I bought my pt01si spent like350 on trickin them out new tone arms I even have ortofon carts on mine their easily to maintain their excellent for sampling says a mpc 2500 user me .Your pickin apart a scratching deck and I can tell u know nothing about the scene and how this is leaps and bounds over the scratch pt01 the Omni is like the banger out of all these but I like tinkering and upgrades it gives it character Jesse dean and his team are so effen cool they email u schematics to help u with issues not to mention his faders are insanely sharp the switch that comes on the pt01 is the immediate swap out there’s 130 rightere if you want the custom tone arm with the fader the 2 piece kit kinda pissed me off the scratch was wack they didn’t listen to the scene until all these ridiculous upgraded pts started popping up.Atlrast Stanton listened to the customers
