I think the biggest missing interactions in this entire game is the fact that Viego, The Ruined King. Doesn't have a voice line when buying Blade of The Ruined King. But Eve gets to call Void Staff a d1ldo and flirt with Baron…

The most obvious run slow animation for me is easily the updated Tristana model.

In dota a lot lot of characters have these animations wth slows and stuns and it makes me feel more invested in the game. That feeling in dota when you make it back to base at like 5hp and ur character looks like they can barely even go on, “I really just survived that”. Gwen In seem to be one of the few characters that have most of the animations maybe that’s why I liked her when I first started playing her, she felt more alive in the game. If only they gave a lot more characters voice lines and a low hp animation for all the characters would be nice but they probably never did because 1 it would up the quality of each character and 2 most ppl just recall so the animation would overlap

Anyway, I did play Dota a bit and I agree the animations are more consistent there, Valve has surely a more strict quality checklist than Riot.

One of the last straws I had with league is when I discovered that Kai'sa has voice lines for PINGS, like an RTS character.
It made the game feel like MUGEN (if you know what it is). Every character has a different level of quality and atention to detail and feels like it was made by a completely different company, person or team.
It is completely disrespectful with the customer, the playebase let the bar drop so low they don't have standards for champion features.
Every new champion's base skin should have voicelines for every item, every area in the map (there is only 1 main map anyways), pings, movement, jungle camps, interactions with at least all lore related characters. Plus animations for every debuff, buff and state.
They have "TRIPLE A" Money.
Their main cash cow and driving force should have triple A quality assets

Just a reminder that in early league of legends not only champions did come up faster but with 2 skins on release. Also when it comes to decrease in quality Riot usually put effort only in things they can cash on. When they were making visual upgrade for udyr they put so much effort into it they decided to not implement it and instead sell it as the ultimate skin because it came as too good.
0:56 id say the quality peaked in 2015-2016 then the start of the decline happened. The reworks were NOT good, most of them didnt fix the champions but replaced them with one of the same name. J
S6 (which i wasnt playing yet) got the most unique and creative champions both in terms of design and gameplay unlike the ones we get today.
Maybe in 2077 riot will finish updating 2009 chapmions
finally someone that talked about this, there is even more things that I noticed too, like the run after hit flow. I really love the lore of the game and have come theories of my own but there is inconsistency on the lore itself! and that inflicted with what the champions do, like when Seraphine released, everybody was shocked because she do literally what Sona did on her kit! and that skill repetition been coming ever since that! like K'sante q being stackable like yasuo and yone, Mel having the same black hole as Aurelion, etc.
I will add one thing: they break their own rules and add more frustrating things to game.
Akshan revive was first. Then we got things like Smolder with perma elder and ultra safe stacking, Mel with both reflecting any projectile (even WHOLE Renata R...) and PASSIVE EXECUTE, ultra-hyper mobility Ambessa, K'Sante switching between fulltank and full burst assassin, hypermobile maxhp% damage Aurora...
I will never understand why they gave Akshan, a RANGED ASSASSIN WITH GREAT MOBILITY a REVIVE while Soraka, a super squishy enchanter with no escape tools gets her ult healing reduced.
Jhin was the best released champion. Thresh has the best base model.
Hi, congratulations for the video! I honestly think that League Of Legends has been left to fend for itself for a while now. The thing that makes me most angry is that Riot doesn't cater to the playerbase and I'm noticing more and more that this game is becoming a gatcha game rather than a free to play game with the possibility of also receiving paid skins without paying a penny (in addition to the fact that they made the change to the chests which is horrendous). Furthermore, to make everything I said heavier, they started to churn out skins that cost a few hundred euros, they started from Ahri at 500 euros to get to gatcha skins like Jinx and Sett which in my opinion aren't even that much worth as they don't have all that great quality (if I'm honest they seem like a huge scam to me LOL). Another thing is the quality of the skins, we went from beautiful skins to such a terrible quality even for legendary skins that they look like normal or epic skins (like Ambessa, Jhin etc.). Leaving aside my burn out from this video game (due to the general tilt) and despite the fact that I like the game a lot, Riot currently reserves the right to fail because it is a continuous disappointment in the gaming sector.
Yeah, I'm definitely planning on making a video about Riot's downrading and the decreasing quality of the skins as well.
it's such a shame since I literally started playing because Riot always gave us high-quality stuff for not such a big amount of money.

Anybody saying this isn't warranted as they aren't important doesn't have the context in mind. This is the largest, most well-funded game development company in the WORLD (at least one of them). There is no excuse for not having proper quality assurance standards. The reason for this is likely the same reason there isn't any new player experience in LoL, the game is already successful and they've mostly moved on to other products.
The same thing is happening over in here in dota2
Older heros have unique voicelines for different items while the new ones just say the name of them.
The recent crownfall even had massive lore changes yet the lore accurate characters were skins you get for completing the story instead of changing the base models.
It's a bit misleading, bro. Older characters had only limited amount of item voicelines while newer ones have voicelines for pretty much every item in the game and some of them are special (like Ringmaster when he buys Veil of Discord says "Where I come from discord is a high art" and the hero is voiced by John de Lancie, a VA of Discord character from My little pony). And newer heroes overall have much, much more voicelines. Where older ones rarely had 15 or 20 minutes of lines spoken newer ones including personas and arcanas have at least 40 minutes and sometimes barge over an hour mark of time spoken. So no, voicelines in Dota with time only got better

@ After some back-to-back nerfs hero has fallen out of favor of casual audience but the new scepter upgrade give him a bit more viability and rn he is successful enough on higher ratings with 52% according to Dota2protracker
riot fires more and more artists to cut costs, no wonder everything is rushed and of worse quality

nice video. The old champs are not updated so they are champs how you must have a skin of to even have a playable state. But f2p game has only paid skins or worse gambling for skins.
Riot needs to fix all the champs animations and bring back hextech chest with 100% drop rate for skin shards.
Welcome to capitalism. Marketing deadline have to be met. Line must go up. Nothing else matters. Quality? Consistency? Moderation? Game testing? Only marketing has a good return on investment.
