Good deal getting the old L2050 running again. One word of caution, when doing loader work, it's a good idea to put the tractor in 4WD. The reason is because if the load in the bucket lifts the back tires off the ground, you will lose your ability to brake. These tractors only have brakes in the rear. If the rear tires lose contact with the ground the tractor can run away. I apologize if this is information you already know. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
On one of your older videos, I was gonna to let you know to use spray adhesive to hold gaskets. A lot of people use our RTV silicone, but it takes forever to dry and makes a mess spray drys fast and your gaskets sicks.
for the straight pipe easy just bend the end on the side or make it under the engine bay as other kubota models, second the fluid container can pull up the cap before take it of to have more leverage to skip the spoil the oil out that's all
Hello, I hear you say you get your GM/AC parts from amazon, do you use one site? if so what is it ? Im working on fixing an 1989 Silverado so same thing. and how do you get the GM part numbers? love your videos.
I know nothing of working with hydraulics… so out of curiosity, after doing this there’s no issues with air in lines? Is that even a thing with hydraulics?
Meticulous about going the extra mile but then puts in super tech 303 fluid which will make a wet clutch debond and or get chewed up in a very short amount of time I’ve seen it too many times people wonder why the screens plugged with trash it’s clutch material.
Good advice. Also, it seems to me, he would need to clean that filter after a few hours anyway. At the same time he could get the oil level down to the correct amount.
8:03 - For future reference, those 5 gals have a built-in pour spout...you reach in and pop out the clear spout to prevent it dripping on the lid. 👍
Reach in? You pull on the handles on the lid before unscrewing it.

Why don't you pull the spout out of the oil drum?
God love eem, he refilled the engine oil with the new oil container upside down too. He’ll eventually figure it out i guess.
