Set screw might be needed to calibrate jaw. I've used original used key to calibrate - made cut #4 (input biting 111114), compared with other side (original), adjusted screw. Then cut #1 (input 211111), compared with other side as well, adjusted as necessary. Repeat until satisfied visually. In my case screw needed, took about 30 min to calibrate. Edit: However, slight adjustment still was needed for Chinese key blank (about 1/2 turn of the screw), visually matching original key position in the clamp.
@@russej02 It looks like after adjustment for Chinese blank (which I had) screw is almost all the way out anyway. I guess screw might be needed for original blanks (if they do exist) or certain Chinese blanks if they go too deep into the clamp.
I'm having some issues using this adapter. I've used it a few times successfully but am currently working on a car that is giving me some grief. Regarding the set screw that determines how far the tip can go into the jig: can you just remove it outright?
Hi,so it's hard to see where it's cutting on the blade from the camera angle,so if you select '2' it cuts where all the 2,s are in the biting, then you select '3' then it cuts where all the 3,s are on the blade etc,is that correct?
I’m not sure. This machine can’t cut them. I know when you buy into abloy you can purchase a machine msde specifically to cut abloy keys. Same with medeco
@@two_tier_gary_rumain yea the blade can rotate side to side. its clunky and very difficult to use for cutting medeco. the blitz has an attachment for cutting tubular keys which doesnt work very good an adapter for cutting tibbe keys. I've not tried the tibbe adapter for it.
Will this machine decode a tibbe key to duplicate? Or any machine for that matter. I haven’t seen tibbe keys in my career and now have 3 in the span of two weeks, this next one being a duplication
Hi. I can’t find anyone to cut me a new key. I have a 2012 ford transit connect. I have the blank keys. Is there anyway I can send them to you and have you cut them for me. I will pay. Let me know if you can. Thanks
@@russej02 no. All they were able to do is get me the key code. There is a guy on eBay that cuts keys but he did not get back to me. And nobody local does it. Just curious the guy on eBay said nothing about sending him the lock. Plus how can someone take a lock out of a car that is being used.

I don’t see why not since you need the tip to go all the way in anyway
Do you have to calibrate the M3 jaw like you would the M1 and M2?
nope
Very cool my friend
Thanks man
Hey Russ, it's nice
thank you
hey man. what do you think of the SEC-E9 machine..
I’ve heard good things but I’ve never used one. Next machine I’m getting is a triton

Yep.
Where do you get the key shell for the blades? Nice work, thanks for the content!
These shells are terrible but I got them from a Chinese seller. Search on Ali express
@@russej02 Thank you, I will see what they have. Maybe a better version
Yw
Where can I find m3 m4
In the United states all Xhorse distributors sell them. Ali express sells them too
Which size cutter are you using?
1.5mm

There is an option to decode them but I’ve never tried it. They’re very easy to decode by eye

not too different than the adapter the boss made for his 1200.
Hpc actually makes an adapter for these for the blitz. I had their tubular adapter it sucked lol so I wasn’t going to get the tibbe one
