I recently purchased one too, seems like a decent little machine but the vehicle/key database needs to be updated big time! So much information is missing or incorrect. Thanks for the great video!
Yea I don’t understand why they can’t put residential keys in it. It’s also missing a lot of bike keys.
This was my fear when deciding to buy this or xp -005. I’m gunna get the xp -005 first then get this later after it’s updated and bugs ironed out

@@russej02 well, next week i am buying my stuff..guess what? the dolphin xp-005 will no longer be made. I was gunna get that one due to stability, etc. So i guess i will have to get the new one. no distributors are selling them i see

What automatic key cutter do you recommend for a starter ? I want to get into locksmithing and I liked this machine but I read the comments so yea lol
I wouldn’t buy this machine again. If I ever buy another one I would get a triton
Surprised you didn't have to do height calibration before cutting calibration.
I actually don’t even think I needed to the do the cutter one. It seems to calibrate it self.
Hello, i am really interessted in buying this mashine. Can u recommend it after 6 month experience? I struggle with the Silca Matrix Pro for HU92 keys (its like cutting the channel to far in the left) and specially HU64 Mercedes keys are hard with it. I am also interessted in the residential data base. Do u know if i can see the list somewhere? If not can u make a video. I am specially interessted if Abus, BKS, CES, Wilka, Dom, Trelock, Huwil, Lowe + Fletcher, MLM, JD, JU, Las, Renz and Ronis are in the Database.
As of now it can’t do residential code cutting and after 90 days the battery went on it. I like the m5 jaw. I find the screen basically useless I still use my phone. It is much cleaner though than the old dolphin because the shield.

@@JamesValentineBaja1000 yea american key supply sent me a new one free. Took like another 3 months to get and I had to install it myself

@@JamesValentineBaja1000 good luck with uhs. I have the dolphin 1 and 2. The one is a better machine and for $215 bucks you can an M5 clamp. I don’t see myself ever getting another xhorse key cutter
I have a condor mini I have trouble cutting a toy48 emergency Key on this machine Iam use the space under the Key still no luck all other key work any suggestions could you make a video on that thanks

@@russej02 what do you think the biggest issue is with the older xp-005 dolphin? I heard h101 keys can be tricky. I am about to purchase this tomorrow and still deciding :(

@@russej02 Thanks bro. Ill start with the xp-005 then and when i make the money back, ill buy the new one. i heard the xp-005 had issues cutting ford keys but maybe that was not the cutters fault

Facebook groups. I’ve not personally ever had those issues. My big complaint with the old one is it’s just really messy. Brass gets everywhere.
