da ich ein schlechter Zeichner bin, aber sehr gerne male, finde ich dieses Video, wie auch die meisten anderen von Karen so super anregend und inspirierend
Gern geschehen 😊
SUPER...!!! Karen...👏👏👏👏👏🎶📽️🖋️📖🖌️🎨
Thank you so much 😊
Unbelievable! This is one of your “all action” paintings: terrifying amounts of water, twigs, sponge, plastic card, salt, masking, splatter … it’s all happening 😱 but the result is incredible ❤️. Look at the texture and depth - brilliant. Perhaps one for a retreat … 😉🤞😘
This really is an all action painting! so pleased you enjoyed it, especially all of that water and all of those mixed media materials which I love to use. Great idea for a retreat as well. Thanks Chris 💕🎨😊
Love your work

Thank you for your lovely comment.
Practice does make perfect and I always tell my students you will be amazed at what you can achieve 😊
❤❤❤❤
It's amazing! Just out of curiosity, what do you use for the opaque white in the end? The gouache I use is not so bright. Thank you. You inspire me a lot.
Thank you! I use W&N White gouache 🎨
그리는 방법이 다양하게 좋습니다 😊
So v true 😊
Wow great job! , but this paynes gray... is it gray in fact? Or what kind of color is it in reality ? Because on my screen it looks quite green in this video. ❤
Yes, I am using Winsor and Newton’s Paynes grey. I am mixing it with the yellow to make dark greens, mid greens and light greens.
So it's kind of dark green shade?
❤❤❤❤❤
I'm a bit late to this but which white did you use to splatter at the end ? Was it acrylic ink or gouache or watercolour ? thank you
It was a watercolour - any white will do. 🎨
Very nice watercolor! Thanks for the interesting techniques to explore!
Thank you 😊

Do you use the professional range? What paper do you use also please xx 😘
In terms of brushes I love Black Velvet Brushes by Silver Brush (you can purchase them from Jacksons Art Supplies). I wish I’d known about them years ago. They have brilliant beautiful points and their loading capacity is amazing! If you were to just buy one, I would recommend the size 10 round. A mop or hake brush is great for wetting large areas.
I recommend 300gsm Cold Pressed watercolour paper 100% cotton A4 or bigger.
Hope this helps 😊
@@KarenRiceArt thank you so very much Karen yes is perfect and helped me so much, you are an amazing artist thank you 🙏 xx
