Love the way they mix German and English, six hundred and fünf tons.

    • @chele089

You are pretty close. He is actaully saying 'Sechshundertundfünf Tonnen' which is all-german for 'six hundred and five tons'. Six and sechs as well as hundred and Hundert are pronounced very similarly, that is why it sounds like a wild mix. :)

***** Ok, thanks for that, I played it a few times and I still thought it was half German/English but as you say some German is similar similar to English even if the spelling is very different.

There is lots of English in this, just not that bit.
International Civil Aviation Organization has determined that English is the standardised language of air travel. International pilots speak English most of the time when communicating with anyone outside the aeroplane.

Thank you for posting this video!
I enjoyed this quite a bit, although when they mentioned turbulence ahead my stomach started tightening in sympathy for the passengers because I do not like (in any way) sudden drops during flying.
The camera coverage in this video is quite impressive.
I can't imagine how difficult it was [legally] to get an international commercial airport to okay the use of camera drones within restricted airspace! (The one overhead shot of the nose of the plane as it's taxiing onto the runway was spectacular.) The synchronization of all ground-, aircraft- and tower-based cameras onto to the exact same flight was also quite a challenging treat. My compliments go out to the video editing and on-site production staff for making it look so seamless.

I dont really think much about aviation on a day to day basis, but when i’m in the air, i’m completely engrossed in it. Like every thing that happens fascinates me. Especially when turbulence hits and i remind myself that it’s just a bit of warm air rising.

Honestly, flying in a small prop plane is way better than an airliner in my opinion. I fly Cessnas and LSAs and I absolutely love it. I used to hate flying and I am deathly afraid of heights but I’m still a pilot and love what I do. Plan on going to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for college and I want to hopefully someday fly for an airline.
