Why didn't you use your Stihl RM4 RTP for this job? No waste and good and natural fertiliser for that particular lawn? I love your company. Always professional and great video's. Hopefully with my small company I will be going full electric regarding my van and full cordless machinery by the end of this year. . Take care.
Thanks mate. It’s about time with me. I could get away with mulching but if the allocated time allows I do the best I can in that time. Good luck with your electric plan.
@@scottellwoodgardening287 Hi Scott. I have just decided today that I am going to do a 3 day week Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday. I have just put all my customers in better rounds and still good money. Call it semi-retired and I am only 49. Plus how many Stihl RM4 RTP 's do you have on your fleet.
I used to buy rover mowers 15 years ago and run them for 2 years then get rid as they were £500 and bulletproof. Then for some reason they switched from Australian made to Chinese and they now fall to bits easily. Solid mowers back in the day but not now.
Damage limitation. We do the same, Scott. You definitely have to think ahead in this job.
Whatever works best and saves time mate.
That reminds me I need to sharpen my blades...not done them in a few years :)
A sharp blade bags and cuts so much easier mate.
Those 41s are little workhorses
Unrivalled in the good weather and light to lift as well.
That 41 could do with a bit of a wash there Alan, could do the van at the same time 😩
🙈

@@cosworthization if it works for you good luck mate. We have 2 of the stihl mulchers.
I've always used old blades for the first cut of the season.
Did you guys work any of the days over Easter?
I’m working both bank holidays as the staff are off and I have to cover their work but that’s the joys of employing.
Do you never just mulch the big areas in the warmer months?
Once we get into July we sometimes do but if time and budget allows I like to collect and stripe it up.
Hi Scott what is your feelings on the rover mowers regards

How do you sharpen them do you just flip it and sharpen
Yes turn on its side and sharpen or remove the blade and do it on a bench.
Missing the Ransomes footage! 😢
It will be out in a few weeks once it dries up Luke. I will get some good videos of it this year.
@@scottellwoodgardening287 Thank you, Scott. I absolutely love watching them - hope the weather begins to clear up for you up there 🙂
