Love that color dial I'm a big GS fan boy 😝 I have 2 grand seiko already love them both . Biggest down fall is the polishing is so shiny that any little thing will cause a scratch other then that best bang for the buck 🙂

Agreed, GS offers a lot for the money, at least when it comes to steel and aluminium models. Their precious metal watches are rather pricey though in my opinion.

Just got an sbgj241. Same dial but in green / teal depending on the light and with a gmt movement. While the snowflake gets all the attention, for me these dials are the most beautiful works of art ever to be put in a watch. Just cant stop staring at it. Now if only I also had the red one...

I have this watch too for about a year now..
It’s truly a stunning watch.
I didn’t like the strap so i replaced it for a black real alligator strap and a genuine GS clasp.😎
This is mach better

Superb watch! in regards to the bracelet, I just picked up a snowflake and mine has one half link above the clasp and two half links underneath it. I noticed you only have one underneath. maybe adding a half link would help fine tune it? the boutique I went to offered to install and extra half link in summer if I felt my watch was getting too tight (I asked them to remove 3 full links from the bracelet since I have a small wrist and also dont like my watches wiggling) enjoy your beautiful model!

Hi VG thanks for the comment. Yes I might have to play with those half links again. The last time I was in a weird place where the half link made is waver between too tight and loose so peculiar. Congrats on your snowflake. I still think it is the most beautiful watch in their entire line up hands down.

the clasp is awful... In general GS bracelet/clasp mechanism/design is always sub par to its otherwise good dial, fit and finish

Just install a beautiful leather strap and off you go, transforms the watch and no suffering from the so-so bracelet.
My SBGH 279 became my most worn watch after the swap.

I understand, limited edition does not necessarily mean exclusive if there is no takers for the model. I remember Hublot made a limited of 3 watches and they sell at an incredible discount because of no takers. Yes there is a blueish dual version with ref SBGJ241.
