The pole hit the poor old man 2 times LMMFFAAAOO😂😂😂😂😂
🫨🤣🤣
Looks like scene from the 3 stooges.
I shouldn't laugh, but it's to effing funny!
The guy putting the pole up is an idiot
That pole hitting that poor guy for a second time ….had me laughing out loud
Legend has it he's still looking for that tire leak.
this is a newbee prank.
Holy crap!!!! 10mm socket, we're all saved!!!! Men will speak of this day for all of eternity.
At 1st I thought that ws going to be an undamaged 1/2"😅
I still refuse to believe it. That has to be some sort of optical illusion. I've seen things over the years, I'd have to touch it to be sure.
So that’s where it went.
Well at least now I know where it is.Thanks
Indeed they will, and god shined down upon man a lone 10mm socket!
Legend has it that apprentice is still looking for the leak on that tyre.
We had guys like that in the press room, they useully didn't last a week. Honestly you can't have someone that naive working around heavy macharinary because
One careless mistake could cost someone there life.
My uncle owned a very large machine shop, both cnc and conventional machines.
This guy he hired from haundurs
Had been drinking on the job he was turning a very large part on the lathe with tight tolerances, but he was using a divider you use on wood lathe to measure the outside dia with the lath running. 6 other lathes in a line operator to back of lathe. I turned his ass in. He got fired on the spot.
Im not running machines around a drunk, but deffently not around a drunk fool. If the divider was grabbed by the spinning part at 32k rpm it go into the face of the guy behind him. Nope don't work around fools. The shop is not a playground. Id fire anyone of a number of the guys on this.
You can't teach stupidity out.
You know what tires me all the people who spelled tire wrong or I guess I should say spell tyre from Canada or Europe

omg right i am wtf, great technique but poor execution.
The guy lifting the pickup that fell... How could he not notice that it was going so wrong? There was a ton of warning time, if he had been paying attention at all.
Probably on his phone
me yelling to the comp, "Bro it's weird, stop!"
@@BrwnShinobi , and some people are just "weird" and need to STOP but oddly they don't. I've seen instances where people will literally "watch" something going awry and they do not intervene in any way as if they're "paralyzed" until whatever bad thing is about to happen "happens."
So weird to watch. I had to wait for a mate to come over and actually see me on fire inside the skip I was welding before he went and got the fire extinguisher I was yelling out for! Ho ho. Watch out for each other ladies and gentlemen! @@zenithperigee7442
Yeah smh. That's wild
01:37 the truck is already leaning.. wtf this guy looking at?
i would guess that lift does that sometimes/
No lift does this it is usually lazy on one side but when they have the car off the ground they lift at the same rate something was really bound up
@@badazz2969 lifts usually have adjustable pads so all 4 can make contact when lifting. Then I put a long standing jack at the end. Tho this was back in the day. Lifting trucks is scary thing.
Specially the old toyotas that got real bad frame rot
It was heavily leaning and there was popping noises , all indications he should probably stop the lift and lower it 😂
I was an auto mechanic for many years. And pretty much every one of those things happened to me at one time or another. Thanks for the reminder, LOL!
Ditto. Except using the Cheetah in the toilet, wtf
i worked at an auto parts store that also did repairs and they had a car that wasn't put on the lift correctly and when the mechanic put the lift up the front of the car slid off the lift and wound up facing with the back half facing up and part of the lift punched a hole in the engine and took 75% of the front end off the car,we had to get a heavy duty wrecker in to get off the lift, after everything they fired the mechanic, the store manager, and busted the assistant manager because he was supposed to be in the shop helping,NOT playing with a nice looking woman in the store who didn't buy anything, eventually the no longer assistant manager left and i found out that he left the auto parts industry and manages a gas station that only sells gas and no repairs
I say, mentally derange and drugs is out of control usa 😢
you guys spoke in monkey calls too? 🤣😎
@@bostonrailfan2427 lol - monkey calls, dog barks, bird calls.. mostly 4 letter words though
That gas bottle near the end of the video, they are very lucky people!
I'm not familiar with american color coding, was that acetylene?
That color is usually used for helium. But that tank had a yellow spot at the top, which could mean it was some type of mix.
Color codes in the US are somewhat standardized, but I've seen shops make up their own standards. Not OSHA compliant, but OSHA doesn't show up unless something really bad happens.
@@dave161141 it doesn’t matter what was in it, it’s the power and speed the cylinder has once the valve is broken off.
@@sjv6598 There is a little difference if it was some "harmless" welding gas or something highly flammable.
@@sjv6598 MythBusters did that, went thru 2 concrete walls!!
As soon as I saw that ray of light I knew it had to be the 10mm socket
yep !
The guy dropping the Corvette on the ground didn't even wait to be fired. He just walked out the door.
That looked like a rich man's toy garage. Vetter was surely totaled.
That shop might have a policy, you break it you pay for it.
He's thinking about what his new identity is going to be when he moves to Mexico
I'm sure insurance covers it but still
I once saw a guy put a tire in a dunk tank looking for a leak. No rim, just the tire. I asked him what he was doing. After he told me he was looking for a leak i had the displeasure of explaining why he wouldn't find it. He didn't last very long. Also, guys close and lock the drawers on your toolbox before you move it. They're expensive and have expensive stuff in them.
And if they fall its a pain to clean it up
It's truly amazing how many people don't understand how center of gravity of works.
i seen that too a tire in a tank with no wheel . And a tire with no wheel but he's spraying leak detector on it
The pole hitting the Man twice killed me I was rolling on the floor laughing I think I cracked a rib
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lawsuit.😂
Me too, my wife told me to shut up but I couldn’t stop laughing.
@@70sboy98ha shit was great tho wasnt it bub
If that was me there wouldn't have been a second time because after the first time that pole would be so far up that guys ass it ain't never coming out.
I'm surprised there are any mechanics still left alive.
6:45 only technicians can understand 🤣🤣🤣
( the joke is not about the holy light, but the 10 socket )
What is the joke?
@@butWhyDadthere is a world wide story about the 10 socket and wrench to always escape from your toolkit within days after you buy it.
Here, at last, after hundreds of thousands of 10 sockets have faded to other worlds, one have come back from heaven.
This story only applies to the 10 socket.
=» it's not about some random holy socket . It's about the 10 coming back !!!
***
Reality is that 10 is the second most used socket after 17, but, the 10 is much smaller and easy to loose, and usually required when discounting things that are PITA, so you focus so hard on your PITA that you just forget where you put things. It's also the socket you discover the fastest you lost, because you need it very often. For example, if you loose the 14 or 18, you may catch it only months later. But 10, only minutes or hours.
Some people loose more than 1 per week, every single week, since years.
@@butWhyDad 10 socket are used way more than most others sockets. Always have a 10
Having grown up in an auto shop, starting with being the shop grunt, and working my way up into repairing the equipment for several brand name suppliers, I have seen every one of those accidents at least once… My favorite is when they blame the equipment for the failure!!!
Equipment troubles: the real stars of the shop drama!🤣
The poor old geaser that got hit by the fallen pole twice 😂
Can you imagine having to make that phone call from the shop that you dropped their car off the lift? 😂
or it burst into flames while on the lift?
Rule 1 lift it like an inch off the ground and shake the vehicle check lift points.
Ahh, Mr. Smith, something happened to your Corvette and we will not be able to fix it. Please come and pick it up
I'll be quite happy to get the payout from their insurance company.😂
@@thechosenone5924I'm still doing exactly that for 10 years now with every car. But i see many people lifting a lot of cars everyday without checking... i will never understand.
00:37 That poor guy got hit once & said, I’ll be alright, just don’t let it happen again.
As a certified professional technician I can attest to the fact that there is a distinct difference between a so called mechanic and a technician. This video validates what I have always known to be true.
There sure is a difference.
One will fix the car (in most cases), the other (technician) will have sent you to your grave after the diagnostics bill!
That poor guy got demolished not once but twice by that falling pole... Poor guy
That would have been an easy lawsuit. He shouldn't be poor anymore.
@@SwapPartLLC British newspaper Daily Mail said that this guy is the salesman's father-in-law. 😉
@@brand-konto6733 Damn. That was probably intentional and premeditated.
The guy looking for leaks in an unmounted tire is why the education system in this country needs a lot of reforms.
Yes, demographic reforms.
Aaammmeeennn !!! ! !!!
4:48 (it's my turn, I told you)
Seriously it is not just education - this is the example of this country going down hill fast - there are tire shops in my town that have those type of workers (young, not trained properly, some just don't give a dam anyway) - that clip from the video could have been made at a couple of shops in my town everyday of the week - restaurants, grocery stores, hardware stores and others have these same type of people working in them - back in the 90s, the worst workers at a shop could swap a motor out - nowadays the top guy will replace tire rods and ball joints for a knocking sound that was being made by the plastic/rubber loose in the tire well that was bumping (True Story) - shit is just sad - nobody takes pride in their job anymore - i do lawncare for a living and i try my best to be the best lawncare guy in my town - even if that means doing something extra that I am not going to get paid for - have to do it right and make the yard look good because my work is a representation of me
Probably apprentice
3:48 this, people, is what’s known as a life changing experience.
7:44 he was so broken by this he just gave up and walked away.
10:42 this is how you go in for an exhaust repair, and come away with a new car.

3:48 what the heck happened? Did he have a hard one sticking out? Why would it grab it from his pants? 😅
The holy grail 10 mm cracked me up. Someone needs to offer a set of 12 pack 10 mm only. It would sell like crazy.
Every shop should have spares of 8, 10, 13, 17 and 19.
Gearwrench sales a set of 10mm in 1/4 and 3/8. Search Gearwrench 80319.
harbor freight has an "essentials" all 10mm set :D I already bought one
I got a 10 pack from tractor supply. Swivels, long, short, 1/4 and 3/8 mixed. I bought 5 sets
@5:40-that was about $85K worth of Snap-On toolbox that just hit the floor.
He probably should have closed the drawers before moving it.
@@jamvan2k Not probably, but definitely. Even without moving it, you shouldn't have multiple drawers with heavy tools in them open at once.
I was good until the 10 mm socket in the beam of sunlight, then I lost it. Still laughing.
😮😢😅😅😅😅😊
This is exactly why I repair my own car. I refuse to let the stooges work on my car.
No! Not the lost lonely 10mm bit!!! *sheds a tear*

0:33 who needs a gym member ship when your a mechanic
You can do lifts with the camshaft
The momo checking for a leak on a rimless tire was amazingly dumb, same as the f150 falling off the lift when you can see it going up uneven and he still raised it, lmao...
I feel for the guy that was emptying the oil at the beginning. I was using an air transfer pump to fill the hyd. tank on a big excavator and the pulse caused the hose to come out of the tank. After I came back from a smoke break there was 20 gallons or more of hyd. fluid EVERYWHERE. Owner laughed his ass off and I cleaned it up on paid time. Lesson learned.
I saw a flatbed dropping off a car with a ruined drainback hose and the operator didn't see it because of the angle of the parking lot it all went downhill.I'd say 20=30 gallons, shut the street down. State EPA down the storm sewer
Thats good your boss was cool about it. One quart on the floor looks like two gallons, so it musta been a HELLUVA sight!
The Holy 10mm socket
LOL, the 10 mm spotted is amazing.
I am not surprised at all. I have a friend that is a high school teacher. This is what the system is cranking out now days.
All of these incidents were preventable if people just use their brains. What made me laugh the most was the guy checking for leaks from the tire when it wasn't even mounted on a rim with air.
Accidents are preventable you say? I’ll be blowed
As a mechanic, I can confirm this.
The 10mm socket in that light was definitely a religious experience.
I never take my truck to a mechanic thanks the Lord for giving me the talent to fix it
2:03 I've actually fallen asleep working on my car before too 😅
8:29 Dude is still searching for the leak I heard
the shutter door has got me more times than i care to mention, plus i fell down the pit we have 10 years ago, ribs still hurt occasionally, how i laugh😂😂
That guy at 4:50 was REALLY in a hurry to change his oil!
And now he's got a whole lot more to worry about on two different vehicles now, and he only owns one.
Another case of a person putting their foot on the gas pedal instead of the brake, then pushing it harder to stop.
0:38 This is like watching the Three Stooges 😂 Only thing missing was a "Watza madda wid you" and a slap.
03:47 *this has to be the worst... Either his sausage or nuts got trapped under that bonnet* 😮😮😮
By the way you always shake the car after you get it a little bit up and then when you get it up a little bit higher you double-check everything. I knew a guy that dropped the car on the side.
8:33 pls do not tell me that guy was supposed to find the leak in the tire 💀
Ah, the memories...So thankful we didn't have cell phones back then.
I worked 52 years, and never had worse any of that stupid crap happen. No wonder people don't trust auto shops in many cases.
2:05 Don't wake the bear- get the new guy to wake him up. Keep the camera rolling from a safe distance tho.:)
That "10mm socket" skit is 100% real!
The guy pulling himself up was the most relatable and funniest 🤣
Smartest one was the guy and his doggo at the end 😃 🐕
6:38. My favorite. This touched my soul.
Okay usually I really don't like sound effects added to videos, but the one at 5:14 is so good
I like it too.
Bonk
This Whole Video was Hilarious, enjoyed it very much, just shows what can happen in Real Life...
Find a good tech. If your car is old find a good mechanic. If your car has a carburetor, ensure he is missing a few teeth. Bring him presents and don't rush him or question the bill!
Damn now everybody knows the secret.
If it has a carburetor, also remember to bring him a 12 pack of his favorite beer.
4:48 old dude was like "Hell no, it's MY turn!"
8:40 Props to the guy for not giving up and letting go
The 10mm socket wins the Internet.
This is why I always change my oil 😂
I feel pretty good about my backyard mechanic skills after watching this video. 😆
This video perfectly explains why i do as many jobs as i can on my own car.
3:21 man got suplexed by a tire lmao
And this is why I do all my own work on my vechicals
then wind up on "Just Rolled In"
Everyone of them a winner 🤣🤣🤣
Omg that poor old guy getting the shit beat out of him by that pole 😂
the old man getting struck with the pole twice is one of my all time fav youtube videos.
The 10 mm socket, may be the best one.
5:04 poor girl 😂😂 workshop jokes.
0:01 The term "grease monkey" takes on a whole new meaning.
I worked at a small car dealership years ago. One day, I was helping another mechanic with a rear wheel drive transmission. The bellhousing was stuck to the engine. He grabs the tail and jerks it hard. The truck rotated about 45 degrees. The idiot had put the rear lift arms on the sloped part of the frame. Got real lucky it didn’t fall and kill us both. That was the last time I ever went under a vehicle without thoroughly inspecting how it was lifted. I may be paranoid, but I'm also still alive.
Better to check and not die
I’ve been in the motor trade for 50 years - some of these clowns still surprise me!!
1:05 I shouldn't be laughing at that, but Warner Brothers couldn't make a cartoon funnier than that.
1:47 I could tell from the first second that there was something very wrong with the way those arms were situated. Please tell me this was at a do-it-yourself facility, and that the motard lift operator was the owner of that truck. 'Cause if it wasn't and he wasn't, there's got to be a very unamused owner outside there.
2:17 Looks like a Chris Tucker quotable is appropriate here...
4:52 "No way, I'M next! Hurry up and change my oil, you serfs! While you're at it, put in a new radiator."
6:22; 7:52 I reiterate my hopeful guess, that these motard lift operators were the owners of the now-trashed cars, at a do-it-yourself garage...?
It took me 50 years in the business to see most of these happen only one time at various locations. I'd bet these days you can see many in just one year and at the same shop.
Your right. After I retired I found out my wife had a life insurance policy on me for work injuries because she never knew who was working next to me.
@@davidmilne9738 So, was she disappointed not being able to cash in? 😂
When you start feeling like "what is taking so long with this oil change?" They are setting a timer on the water pump, so it goes out in 2 months...

Ahhhh the first clip takes me back! 3 stooges, laurel and hardy,Charlie Chaplin and Tom and Jerry. No to forget me and my 2 brothers!
This is how it' really goes down in a shop from time to time 😅😅😅
The guy lifting the truck his face was priceless His life flash before his eyes like I’m gonna be fired.
Dude with the corvette just accepted his fate and went home
I tried to tell y'all & I'm gonna keep on telling y'all . Toolboxes are top-heavy . Turn the wheels inward so you have more wheel base vs outward making it even more top-heavy . Because Toolboxes are more prone to falling forward or backwards , it's good to have them pointed towards each other and not in a diagonal .
Also don’t move them with the drawers open.
With drawers closed and locked.
Best practice close and lock drawers.
Pointing the wheels inwards towards each other just makes the base narrower making tipping easier. The wheels should be pointed to the outside away from each other. This makes the wheel base wider and less likely to tip. But it makes little difference.
They fell over because the drawers were open, nothing to do with which way the wheels were pointed.
That 10 mm sunlight shot awesomeness
Dudes who have the cars fall off jackpoints on lifts… ugh

Sleep apnea is improper breathing while sleeping. Not falling asleep randomly.
@@DaHolyCanadian you clearly can hear the apnea, and people who have untreated sleep apnea fall asleep randomly because they're exhausted
@@StopTargetingOurKids Yeah but it's not a direct cause of apnea. It's like if I said my untreated addiction to TV is a serious risk because it causes me to fall asleep while driving until I started taking nyquil
