Time started the moment they entered the room. Let's just say that everyone but 1 didn't trust Paul and it was amazing.

In the current series of UK Taskmaster the sausage task was taken from series 1 of NZ, except that in NZ they gave them casings to use. Champion of Champions 2 stole the live task from NZ as well. Besides, Paul is on record saying they try not to copy any other tasks and in series 2 cut one that was too similar to one that appeared on the then recent UK broadcast.
In that situation would have just taken the lids off the milks and then held them flat and then tip the contents over the microwave so I didn't touch them and also so it would gradually get lighter
But they were supposed to lift them right away weren't they? I feel like the rules wouldn't allow for it unless you can open it one handed without lowering it.
When they ran this task in the UK, one of the contestants started emptying the bottles mid-task. The lab then smelled like death for the next few months while they found voids under the floor that the milk had seeped into.
Oh yeah that was Sarah Millican! And if I remember right Munya walked in after for a team task and was the first to comment on how god awful it was. Cuz they cleaned what they could see, but it leaked into the floor xD Also Dara's "What wait what? Wait what?" like absolute confusion at the task was pure gold. The episode was #6
The task wasn't to hold the bottles up if you watch the episode they only had to hold them after opening the task so waiting to open the task was the way to win
What if one of them came in and dumped out the milk IMMEDIATELY? I mean, HUGE gamble but if they put it in something in case they need it, they'd just be holding the empty things for an hour😂😂
There is a 10 minute timer counting down. After they read the task they have to start holding milk jugs over the microwaves if the jugs touch the microwave they have to stop. The goal is to stop as close to the end of the timer as possible. So the more time they take before reading the task the less time they have to hold the milk.

She just fucked around for like 5 minutes and then got bored and opened it. One of the things she did to waste time was put one of the jugs in the microwave❤
I'm a huge fan of Taskmaster. I've seen all the UK episodes several times each and I love watching it. The show is my happy place, despite some obvious and overt biases with Greg. I see these clips from the NZ Taskmaster and it makes me want to watch it, but every time I try to watch it, it feels....off? I don't know what it is exactly. Something about the chemistry between Paul and [HostName] or maybe its a cultural difference in attitudes or......I don't know. The US attempt was *ABYSMAL*, unfortunately. There was one woman on there who kept shouting and insulting Alex in a way she thought was playful but was very obviously super aggressive. It made me uncomfortable, even as a feminist anarcho socialist (you'll see why this is relevant if you look up a clip of the US show). Do very disappointing. Maybe I'll try the Denmark one...
