WeirdAnimation it’s up to chapter 7 now. I love it. Gloria and Hop are so adorable when they smile and laugh together. Same energy. I also love Victor and Bede’s rivalry. Marnie is serious but sweet. They’re all great.
This sums up their group dynamic perfectly:
Victor and Hop: Two doofus’s who start everything.
Gloria: Joins in and dials that shit up to 11.
Marnie: Watches what’s going on before joining in.

(Edit 2: Technically, stat wise, hop is stronger. If you play sword or shield, hop will get either zacian or zamazenta, both having a base stat total of 720. That's the same base stat as Arceus. So technically, hop is still strongest based on stats, too bad his AI sucks. Also, reshiram's base stat is 680 and silvally's stats are 530, just to clarify)

I feel like this added more personality to the main character and hop than the game ever did
Why are people always needlessly hating on swsh? The main character never has any personality in pokemon games and the rivals in this game were actually great characters and better than many previous rivals
EDIT: obviously people can't read, I said better than MANY rivals, in no way are they the best, but they're definitely up there imo
