Thank you so much for the greenery info! My daughter is using the steel blue and burgundy colors, so the greenery you used, I believe would be excellent! I’m glad her wedding isn’t till November, lots of work to do! You rock! These tutorials will really help me! Looking forward to more!
I was going to buy my bouquet, but I'm really crafty now I have never done this but thanks to you Im going to give it a try 😁 wish me luck and thanks again I love your all of your videos
Hi, Stephanie! I hope I spelled that right. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful videos. I'm getting married this coming May and am using sola flowers for my wedding... even though I have ZERO floral arrangement abilities. Would you consider doing a video where you slow down and explain your thought process behind bouquet flower placements, please?
Hi Sherri! Thank you so much for your comment. You might want to check out the latest tutorial that just went up. It helps create a bouquet without over thinking the placement of flowers or greenery. It might be helpful for just playing around at first to get you ready to make your own bouquet.
Elisa if you want to message our fb page with an inspo picture I can take a look and see if I could create a tutorial for you. Another great resource is our facebook group: Put a Flower on it we might be able to have the community help give you some tips/tricks
I honestly winged the number of flowers I dyed which I know isnt helpful. I normally try and have extra paint just in case I need to dye more flowers for a project. Bridal bouquet I used between 30-40 flowers, bridesmaids 20-30 typically I use a mix of flower sizes a majority would be 2/2.5 inch flowers and then sprinkle in some tiny flowers for filler and big flowers for impact. I hope that helps a little!
Is there something else besides broom husks as bouquet grass? I dont like the look of the yellow on the bouquets. I'm looking for ideas for my bouquets for next year. Thanks in advance and I love your tutorials!
You could wrap the whole handle in ribbon or twine. You can collect a bunch of other greenery stems and surround the floral wires with the faux stem and then partially wrap with ribbon or twine. You can also look into bouquet grass, the one thing to note with this is you will want to test it out first, sometimes dyed bouquet grass, in particular, will have the dye transfer onto your hands/dress so something to be aware of if you go that route. I hope that gives you some ideas on what you can do!
@@OhYoureLovely Thank you so much! I will look into it and yeah I wouldn't want dye to get onto my hands. I'm new to sola so I'm trying to learn my best!
Could you show how to make bouquets with just the flowers and maybe baby's breath as the fillers? I'm planning on using sola wood flowers for my wedding and idealy I want to make the bouquets with carnations, aroura roses, and cotton bolls as my "filler". Thank you!!
Omg... so happy you're doing a video with these flowers was thinking of using these instead of real flowers so I can save them forever. Love your frames where did you get your glasses??
The colors for my wedding are lilac and sage so this is perfect. However, I would like something more of a cascading bouquet for myself, the bride and then these that you are making in this video more for the bridesmaid. I would love to know the cost for making this particular bouquet. I'm also wondering were these ordered as is, already dyed or did you have to dye them?
We sell the sola wood flowers typically raw (cream and bark) but do have some sets that are dyed assortments but right now we dont have a purple set that would work. You can check out all our flowers here: www.ohyourelovely.com and if you place an order feel free to use the code: RUclips30 to get 30% off one order.

if you are using a bouquet holder with foam yes you will want to cut the stems to fit properly into the foam. I have only ever made a cascade bouquet using a bouquet holder and it was a lot of greenery. It will depend on the style of the bouquet for how many stems are needed as well as how full you want it. .
I absolutely love this bouquet! I'm going to make mine for my wedding like this series just in different colors. What are the names of the flowers you used off the site? Thank you!!

I’m trying to order from your website, I have a question about how much greenery to purchase for 10 small/medium-ish bouquets? Is the greenery one stem per purchase or is it a bundle?
It's truly a personal preference I like to add a few different types for visual interest but I have seen plenty of bouquets with just one type of greenery. For this bouquet, I used 4 different types of greenery and one additional pop of color with a filler.
at about the 2:00 mark I talk a little bit about the greenery the ruscus we carry in our shop. the rest of the greenery I believe I found at hobby lobby
When making the bouquets do you have a recommendation on how many types of flowers to work in or as long as they are in the color palette it’s fine???! I have 200 flowers and am a little overwhelmed on where to start any guidance would be great. Thanks!
Love this bouquet! I am planning on making my own bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets with Sola Wood flowers. I have never done anything like this before. What type of greenery did you use?

How do you decide how many flowers to dye in each color? and if I am making boquets for myself and 5 bridesmaids, how many flowers should i do?

Omg I love this it's stunning, definitely gonna try it for my bouquet, the greenery is that real or fake? Where did you get it from?
Hi! All the greenery is artificial and most of it can be found in our shop here: ohyourelovely.com/collections/greenery-filler
What kind of flowers were used and how many?
What greenery would you use if your colors are Navy, burgundy, and yellow (sunflowers)?
I really love using our Italian ruscus ohyourelovely.com/products/italian-ruscus-stem-artificial-greenery-14-inches#
If we don’t have enough egg cartons what can we use to dry them on
I have seen people use: cookie wire racks, puppy pads, and parchment paper for a few ideas
