These are beautiful! I was wondering, why make the handles so thick by adding the sticks all around? Just wondering if they be hard to grasp and hold for long periods of time.
How many bunches of greens and flowers do you need? I have about 25 flowers for bridesmaids and 35 for maid of honor but I bought some greens I was going to cut them down and and put them on wire and and place them here and there in between the flowers. When I'm watching you use several whole bunches of greens.
all of the greenery for these bouquets are artificial. You can find some of it (the ruscus in particular) on our website. the other styles I found at other random craft stores.
Thank you so much for doing this series! I have already purchased the sola flowers. Love learning all about dying and assembling boquet! How long do you leave the stems, I dont want to trim them too short. :) thank you!
For bouquets, I dont trim my wires until I am close to the end and then just trim all the wires once I can see how my hand placement would be and then trim to size.
can you go through how to pick flowers that work together? I think that is what I am having that hardest part doing is picking flowers and the amount. For Bridal bouquet and Bridesmaids
So this is the size I think I would want for my bridal bouquet. What size would you recommend the making the bridesmaid's bouquets then? Or is this too small?
I think this is a great size for a bridal bouquet as well. I would probably make the bridesmaid bouquets with just a few less flowers or filler. But that really is up to you if you want them all the same size you can do that as well too!
I personally use mine as a centerpiece that I usually bring out around my anniversary. Now my flowers are not sole they are silk because I got married over 14 years ago and hadnt found sola yet! You can also take it apart and use a few in a memory keeper box and turn the rest in a bouquet. Really anything you can think of you could do with the bouquet.
Loving this series! I'm currently making my bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets along with you! Getting married next month :)
That is so exciting! Glad you are finding the tutorials helpful!
Gorgeous!
Thank you so much!

What's the difference between vinyl tape and floral tape?

What do these flowers feel like?
They feel almost like foam. Soft to the touch
Why do you broom the bottom before the twine
just an option to cover the wires instead of covering it completely with twine. Just a personal preference for finishing up the bouquet handle ❤️
Is all the greenery you use preserved/dried? Where do you procure it?

is the greenery from sola as well? I have sola wood flowers the assortment but I can't find the right greenery!
No it is artificial greenery, most that we carry. You can find our greenery here: ohyourelovely.com/collections/greenery-filler

Hi! We just introduced a DIY bridal and bridesmaid bouquet kit that might be helpful. We also created an assortment based around those kits.
So this is the size I think I would want for my bridal bouquet. What size would you recommend the making the bridesmaid's bouquets then? Or is this too small?

@@OhYoureLovely thank you so much for your tips and your response!!
How many bouquet orders do you get in a month?? Do you make custom bridal bouquets for brides or do you just sell the kits?
I no longer make product to sell (this bouquet was for one of our employees) we solely sell the sola flowers on our website.
what are some things you can do after the wedding with the brides bouquet?
I personally use mine as a centerpiece that I usually bring out around my anniversary. Now my flowers are not sole they are silk because I got married over 14 years ago and hadnt found sola yet! I sent a request to your Facebook page and am anxiously waiting acceptance !
