It's easy to use and install, the models look great, the liveries are appropriate for the airport, there's hardly any performance hit....and best of all, it's free! I've been eagerly awaiting FS Traffic, but after using this, JustFlight are going to have to come up with something special. I think they may have missed the boat!

Looking forward to installing this, but there is one thing you youtubers need to tell developers of these software. It has to do with the ai traffic density sliders. They need to allow a way to either set the destination sliders' numbers different from the departure airport sliders from the start, or better yet find a way to make the changes mid flight as you approach your destination. The reason is, if you fly from KSFO to KBUR, you may want to set the percentage at 60% at KSFO which should give you a good amount of traffic as it's a big airport with lots of flights. This helps performance and reduces chances of clogging. But Burbank is a smaller airport with less flights so that 60% may not be enough for that airport and maybe 80% would be best there...

Can ya'll show a close up shot? Everyone is doing a drone view. I wanna see their quality at a realistic distance. I don't expect it to be perfect I just wanna see it. Strangely every single streamer shows a drone view
no , it is already recorded in the console, only that every time the injector is executed, it asks you if you want to make a change or not, if you click yes it lets you change the values, otherwise they are saved as you had left them before
Nobody has talked about or shown the VFR airplanes. Are these GA puddle jumpers (cessnas and the like)? Website says nothing about it. I think that is what's missing in all the AI traffic systems.
The only problem that I had with the addon is injector cannot distinguish Anadolujet and Turkish Airlines flights I think because both of them use THY callsign so both Anadolujet and Turkish Airlines flights have Turkish airlines livery. Except that, it is an awesome addon I highly recommend it.
Hmm, It didn't work for me I uninstalled my other AI Traffic add on.And installed FSLTL but when I was ready to fly I clicked the 'Ready to Fly' but MSFS kept freezing at that point. So uninstalled FSLTL and no more freezes or CTD.
Although it is not very consistent with what flightradar shows, it works quite well. I see some white liveries still but I guess it will be until the developers install more liveries
The most frustrating thing about FSLTL was downloading the base models. They should really fix that. I had to download a free VPN server just to get the installer to download the base models faster. You know how long that took me? About a day.

This is an amazing product, however I believe I have discovered a shortcoming. So when I started using FSLTL I noticed that ND TCAS would not display any aircraft in vicinity. So I turned the REAL AIR TRAFFIC back on in TRAFFIC Options, without removing FSLTL folders from the Community folder and did some flights in the FLYBYWIRE A320, but without starting FSLTL. As I expected the TCAS radar was working again along with the FSLTL liveries minus the FSLTL sounds. It seems MSFS TCAS will detect only native traffic. Would love to hear about other users experience in this regard.
Hello Q8Pilot I have done some plane spotting at my home airport Hartsfield Jackson for hours. I have yet to see an aircraft takeoff? They do everything else but takeoff , why?

I tested to see if people would get sick using a Timelapsed VR recording using someone else’s video and speed it up to 6x, 8x or 10x, which are the only ones that world work, and unfortunately even at 6x it didn’t look nice to look at The only way I can bring back the Timelapse idea is if I have a sort of “GoPro” style camera at the window for the entire cruise. Is there a replay addon that would let me record from that far away for the entire cruise? (Keep in mind most Qantas A330s fly for about 3-5 hours on average)
@@Q8Pilot I mainly meant to ask if the replay tool you use can handle a 3 hour cruise recording, or is that too much of a stretch for it? Or is it only meant for short recordings like landings etc.
Thanks for watching! If shut the injector, the generated traffic will be removed. You can keep it off, and turn on AI traffic in MSFS (move the slider to say 80%). This will generate traffic based on the models, but will not be based on real life data.

The GA feature is still in Beta. I haven't been able to spot any GA aircraft, but works perfectly well with IFR flights. You can observe some small private jets when VFR enabled.

I am upgrading from fsx on old system to msfs on new gaming pc. I fly mainly CYVR-CYYJ and all around southern Canada. Does this program have the smaller regional turboprop airlines like Pacific Coastal Airlines Central Mountain Air etc? I dont think the payware version handles them anymore…well at least they dont list them on their aircraft list. I really enjoy flying the small and shorter routes with flight times around 1-2hrs.

Am I missing something? Very little aircraft actually in the air from the start, almost nothing in relation to what flight radar is showing. I have my traffic at 85 and still barely anything in the air at busy airports. Maybe i am missing something?
I just gave this a quick run and I saw a Qantas a318 taxi to a gate at Miami international which is not possible and a number of plain white aircraft at Brisbane international and Miami international ? this is my first try using FSLTL apart from that it is very well done and I have not noticed any performance hit

a lot of that is because planes slam the brakes on when landing at taxi 90% of the runway at 10 knots this forces the following AI to do go arounds, resulting in the ridiculously silly go arounds and buzzing the airfield. So if the landings are fixed and the don’t basically stop on the runway, it shouldn’t stack up. Is that fixed @Q8Pilot?

When FSTL starts running even after a couple of minutes I dont see any movement around the airport even them looking at the data info show e,g taxi and takeoff next to some of the aircraft ID's I dont see those specific aircraft in the sim. Maybe there's a hiccup for Europe. Nothings lands either

@Q8Pilot ... I cannot get this FSLTL Addon to work. I've downloaded & ran the Injector in MSFS, as well as did all of the correct setting steps, and it will not work. So you have to start FS2020 before FSLTL. In my case, I always start FS in full-screen mode. How do you start FSLTL without having to switch to window mode, start FSLTL and then switch back to full-screen mode? This is such a pain when I want to use FSLTL.....Thanks!!

You can alwasys stop and restart the injection at any point in time.

Yes it will not match Flight Radar exactly, I guess there is a bit of a delay. The models will be improved with time.

There might be an issue with landing aircraft as I am not getting them as of today as well.
I personally don’t care for IFR or VFR traffic so I can just set those to “0” if I only want static ground traffic, correct?
I did all of this but the flybywire wouldn't install is it because I'm using a Xbox one?

I have no issues with TCAS with FSLTL whatsoever. Works as it should.

FSLTL uses its own set so you will need to have their models downloaded in order to see the traffic.
So we install both the Base Model and Traffic Injector even if I don’t use Vatsim at all, Correct.
Correct! If you use VATSIM, you need to set the IFR and VFR values to 0.

May be your IFR flight count is too low. Try changing that. Go to LAX. Wait a little while and you should see movement.

It can only inject traffic, and MSFS takes over after that (unfortunately). You’re not missing anything.

The model matching and AI models are being improved. It has just released, so I am sure things will be ironed out in due course.

No, only the first time.
No! Just create it and paste it once. On subsequent launches, simply hit "Enter" at the API step. It will use whatever you had pasted last time.

Just Starr FSLTL once you are spawned at an airport. No need for window mode. Press window key it will bring the start menu then you can launch FSLTL.
