0.26g is exactly what my phase 5 rosso taylors were off by. it is a 26g 95% tungsten dart, yet i could still feel it. i don't think you can feel 0.1g, but 0.26g you can. or maybe i just made myself think i could, anyways, once i felt one was heavier, weighed them, got proof i was right, i could just not throw them with ultimate trust. darts is a hard enough sport already, if you have some doubts as well... not good.
Worldwide; really nice review. I bought a set of these darts in 23 grams from Doubletop. I changed out the point to a 30 mm plain point (scuffed them up pretty good), but I'm also going to try the swiss diamond points in either 30mm or 35mm. I'm using a short l-style shaft and L-style pear shaped flights and they fly fantastic for me. Yes, they were a little expensive for an 80% tungsten set of darts, but I really like throwing them. Thanks and keep the reviews rolling.
I think it's a good darts for rear grippers like me. I think there awesome. And anything to support Phil, we'll, that's awesome. Love that Decagon on the rear. Wow
Good looking set of darts but there it stops for me. Poor quality check and price way to expensive. But anyway great review as always, keep up the good job.
I tried these darts out, I really didn’t like the feel of the sandblast finish. I guess a positive note is that you don’t have to worry about them looking scratched up! The more popular darts become, the more gimmicks we’ll soon see. I personally can’t wait to go pick up a pair of “Air Taylor” professional dart shoes. Lol
great video, poor darts! we could get 3 nice sets of darts for 85.- at least! target really sucks but they have decent darts cases 😎 I would love to see some keane barry darts review. maybe you already did one... so many videos...don't recall 👍😍 keep on!
I couldn't tell - maybe a reflection or something but I didn't see the weight on the warranty card. I wonder if they knew they were way off & chose not to print the weight on that card? Assuming it's blank rather than just not seeing it in the video
Great review as always WW.Not for me tho. Too expensive. Way better darts out there for way less Moolah. I also think the stock set up looks a bit tacky. I know you can mess around with that but I'm not a fan of the light blue and white.
I've tried Phil Taylor darts before. Not these ones but another couple sets. I didn't find them great to throw but that's just me. Great review. Have a great day. Mike from Atlantic Canada 🇨🇦
I don't mind you weighing the barrel's. Maybe the manufacturer's will take notice.. wait, probably not. LOL! With darts gaining popularity I think Target is just pumping them out too fast and bypassing the quality part.
I haven’t checked Winmau’s darts in a year, but I found their MVG darts to be at a reasonable price for a player of his caliber compared to Target’s Adrian Lewis, Rob Cross darts and especially the Asian players, RVB and Phil Taylor’s dart. Even if he doesn’t use most of them.
Same issue with my 24g ALX. They're about 0.25 off, must be all the drilling for the SP system. Stick with Harrows, they are always excellent (and UK made)...
@@WorldwideDarts never had an issue with their quality control. Had a set of Bristows when I was 14 or 15 and since coming back to the game have the Avanti or Ice Recut has become my match dart. Out of interest I weighed my "22g" Aspinall gen 1's today and they're a long way off as well 0.1g out over the set, but they are also 22.3g average...
Have you ever tried liquid chalk to help with your grip my god the stuff is excellent if you sweet small bit on your fingers plus no mess which is important Don't know why the pros don't use it instead of blowing there fingers
I've never understood these player named darts that they have never used or even in the style of dart they use. I get that the marketing is the name but atleast have the right barrel.
Great review as always. That weighting is terrible. First two not bad but 3rd is horrible. +/- .05 is not accurate on that card at all. I agree with target going downhill with making sure weighting correct and everything. There coming out with so many different sets of darts and think there rushing through alot of the stuff dont think there checking everything before it goes out. They throw nice though.
Extremely piss poor quality control from Target Darts. If they put them out without the Phil Taylor name to making them cheaper and made them 90% tungsten and made them marginally thinner and take away the Swiss points. They’d be some really nice darts. Great stuff WWD 👍🏻
100% agree. There was an opportunity here to make a great set of darts. Get rid of the "Endorsement" from Taylor to drop the price. Go to 90% tungsten and ditch the Swiss points. I'm noticing that darts with Swiss points are quite a bit larger compared to normal darts. Next time you're bored start comparing the size of Swiss Point darts dimensions to other darts of the same tungsten content. Look at the 90% tungsten 21g Bolide 04 for example. They measure 51mm by 6.6mm. www.target-darts.co.uk/steel-tip/bolide-04-sp Now look at a simple 90% tungsten 21g set of Designa darts. Much smaller. www.dartscorner.co.uk/designa-black-shadow-v2-darts-steel-tip-m1-p5626
@@WorldwideDarts It's strange isn't it? I recently ordered a new set of Winmau MvG Vantage darts. They too are 21g and 51mm, yet they are only 6.2mm thick. 🤔
tipical target darts, over expensive, nothing to deal with phil, don't see him use something like that since he was in unicorn, terrible weighting, low tungsten high as hell price, and it happens over and over again
Wow thats rare, you reviewed a set of darts I would not buy !. Fat, Swiss points and sandblast finish. just no, no and no. Sorry no offence intended just do not like them at all

Good point. I've noticed that with a couple other sets of Target darts I've reviewed. Why on earth would they leave it blank? Very telling imo
I changed the tips and they felt so much better

Watching darts inside of a VW Bug doing the interior at 3:30 in the morning in California cuz it's too dang hot during the day✌
Wish I had a better video for you to watch. Stay cool! ☃️
I gotta say, this is one great looking dart.

Nice darts...... Do you know maybe why danny lauby dont play for usa.. He is now best player for usa

Yep, I'm a big fan of Winmau/Red Dragon. There's TONS of other darts on the market that are cheaper and nicer than these.
Same issue with my 24g ALX. They're about 0.25 off, must be all the drilling for the SP system. Stick with Harrows, they are always excellent (and UK made)...
I've always been a huge fan of Harrows darts going back all the way to the 1990's when i started.

I've never tried it but my hands are usually kinda rough from the gym. I do know it helps a lot of players though. No harm in trying it
Plus if they’re 80% tungsten then they’re just gonna look beat-up all the sooner.

Target are a joke with their pricing and quality control. I believe Mission are the up and coming dart manufacturer
Xactly
💯
I'm fairly new to darts, and I quickly started to wonder what was up with the price level on Target products. 🤔

What are the odds of watching this at the excact time as your clock says at the beginning?
Slim 😂
Yeah, I'd say if that last dart weighed right they'd be pretty nice! Nothing is cheap in this day in age. I'd pay 56 for them. Sweet 126 Worldwide 😉
What is Youre favourite darts, no1?
Probably Nodor
Beginner player dart at an advanced player price!!
Well said!
So cos they weren’t match weighted does that mean you get your money back
I don't know. Probably depends on who at Target answers the email and what sort of mood they're in.
Where did you get that scale at?
Amazon USA
In fairness you'd never feel the difference in .3 of a gram
I think it would take something closer to a full gram (maybe more) before you could physically notice any difference
🤔.. try weighing them without the points..
It was 1/100th worse. Off by .27 total
Amazon warehouse.. Danny lauby darts.. 65 bucks
🫣oh, you’ve already reviewed them, oh well😤
Will you giveaway this one mate?, i remember before you always giveaway a Phil Taylor set of darts. thanks
I'd give away a nicer set than this. So no.

Well I feel I was ripped off here a bit 😂

Way overpriced for 80% tungsten * poor match weighting * Swiss Points = I will never buy!
God yeah hate swiss points whats the POINT isay rubbish there always breaking.
