Thanks Pete. I learn a great deal from your videos and also your programs. Lawn is looking very nice.
Can't wait for the warm season program to come out to help with my emerald zoysia! Good stuff Pete!
I just discovered this soccer field project, and I LOVE watching the progression.
Thanks for the video Pete! Looking forward to your warm season program!!!
Great video Pete. Can't wait to see the results.
Great video Pete, looking forward to seeing the results!
Love the BERMUDA videos like this - thanks Pete!
Good video. Be sure to do a follow up later on so we can see how the bare spots turned out
Great video Pete. Looking forward to your tips to help me with my Bermuda grass.
Love my bermuda! Great work. Glad to see this content. Thanks for all your hard work and effort! God Bless.
I'm in love with that machine man alive! So cool!
Thank you so much for the videos! I'm in North Texas DFW area and I have summer Bermuda... sum of this kind and sum of that! Looking forward to new videos... thanks again and God Bless!
Bless you. Glad to see you work the Bermudagrass. It's my grass. It's a very tough truf.
You dang right it's tough!!!
Thanks for the great video as always and the great tips on what to do with the bare spots👊🏻 I will try this in my yard👍🏻🇺🇸
Awesome as always!!! I have a mix of fescue and Bermuda.
I need to really get on the ball and get my lawn In Phoenix, AZ back in shape.
Can’t wait for the results.
And yes would love to see a follow up
Finally a video where Pete does not call Bermuda a weed.
LOL I was mumbling it...didn't you hear me ?? LOL
GCI Turf Services Yeah I could hear it, it was right after you said I know a little something about Bermuda you muttered it’s just a weed. Lol
Pete, awesome day for you! Love your videos. All that in 5 hrs plus you made a video in that time. Love to hear you talk about the warm season grasses, hey maybe you will change your lawn over to bermuda, lol.
HEY!!! watch it!!! LOL I just can't get rid of my fescue friend ha ha
I love that ventrax tractor
hell yes Pete...bring me the Bermuda info...load me up!! LOL...I will be patient. When you get it done, you will get me added to the academy. I want to get my Bermuda right.
Had no idea you did Bermuda lawns. I can't wait for a Bermuda lawn care program!!! If it's anything like your fescue lawn care I'll have it made!!
Yep it is
Awesome! My yard is in process of regaining its Bermuda. Bought my house and the previous owner didn't do any weed prevention. Crab grass central! Started spraying it in June and have already seen tremendous gains. Mowing a little tall for Bermuda to allow it to choke out weeds and hold moisture better. All the clover and dandelions are gone thanks to a mixture of 2,4d and trimec. Crab grass I used some MSMA. Just sprayed some 28-0-0 with 6% iron and got a nice kick. Love your lawn and videos, and lots of respect for you and your stand on the Word. Thanks Pete!
thank you for the respect friend I thrive on that
Great channel. Appreciate the patriotism. Keep up the good work
I like fescue also. However I have some great looking Bermuda lawns including my own. Watched this because I am interested in what at the ventrac machine can do.
Can’t wait till your warm season program comes out! My Bermuda and I will thank you. But please, don’t tell us to cut it tall!
LOWWWWWWWWWWWW MOWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I want that aerovator so bad
I wish so bad that you had St. Augustine and i could follow your lead!
The aeravator implement for the Ventrac is on my wish list. It would be just the ticket for my hard clay loam that is NOT irrigated. Might give my earthworms a headache, though.
Hey Pete, thanks for the Bermuda update, having a hard time getting rid of Bahia grass, and getting Bermuda to grow. Any tips would be highly appreciated
Pete can you do a video on the sprayer you have on the back of the ventrac. I interested in buying/building one to spray your products.
I'm trying to start up some ventrac work here in TN and am considering getting the aera vator for my 4500z. Would love to converse with u sometime and learn more about seeding and pricing range. Pricing jobs seems to be an issue lol
I have a good mess of this stuff in my yard, and with having greened it up in mid April its making me think about letting it take over!
easy to convert over to bermuda if you have it already EASY
That humic acid with some lime with really condition the soil with a core areation 👍
Ok, Pete please follow up on that bermuda. And if you can find some time give us some points on warm season grass I'm sure you've got a wealth of knowledge thanks be BLESSED!!
10-4 bro
Where is that fertilizer from??
Gotta love toys that make money!
Ol all in Pete got one heck of a tool now ... that’s great !
What's up Mr Paul!!!
GCI Turf Services man I’m just settling aside a little cash to get a permagreen and you bust out with turfzilla! ... I really like that Pete!
It's a really cool machine!!!
When you getting a permagreen???
GCI Turf Services when I save enough $$$$ to buy it... fall or spring probably
I hope you make more Bermuda and zoysia videos!
Bud that ventrac is awesome could you do a video on the attachments you've got great video thanks
I sure will
Love to see the spreader in detail. If it was modified or made commercially.
Hey Pete aren’t we due for a update video on this sport field? Looking to watch all your Bermuda videos this year. Thx AF Rich
Had a stump grinding done on my Bermuda front lawn, leaving a huge bare spot. Applied some fresh Bermuda grass clippings on top from mowing the other day and it rained conveniently the next 2 days. We will see if it takes off
That sprayer is the bees knees
I’m about to get me one any details you could share on that?
I'm confused. Shouldn't you have airated the bare spots before you put anything down? That way it would mix really well. I'm sure you know best, I'm just curious because it goes against what I know (or don't know).
PS. If you don't mind me asking, what is your other job? You talk about having to go to your work quite often. I admire you that you are able to do that.
Thanks again for your very enjoyable video's.
John
I've had to do something similar. When using t-nex on bermuda there is a 'rebound' effect when after the growth regulator wears off you get surge growth. Time the t-nex application weeks in advance where the surge growth coincides with recovery periods.
perfect!!
What are those ball markers your sprayer puts down on the outside of the pass?
Not sure how much they're paying you for this, but my suggestion would be to Aera-vate FIRST (or core aerate if need be) then apply your granular products, then Aera-vate (or aerate) again, then apply liquids. By Aera-vating first, you've opened up the ground so the granulars have better soil contact initially, then by doing it again after, really work them into the soil. Once liquids go down, I prefer to leave the area undisturbed for 24-48 hours. Looking forward to the follow up video.
both ways work bud the fields are irrigated so it will get in the soil regardless
I have a Ventrac, can you share any information about the sprayer you built?
What is the sprayer on the back and how is it mounted?
How low should I cut the outfield on baseball field and the grass around pitching mound
Hey boss, for a service like this how much do you usually charge?
my kids school soccer field is 10x worse than this 70% of it is dirt. how can the soil be kept from compacting too much? add 4" of compost? your method is a good fix, but wont' the same thing happen every few months? is there a longer term solution that might last a year or 2?
Yeah man! That's what I'm talking about! #GETYOURBERMUDARIGHT
Man with these salisbury north carolina heat waves lately, I think im gona try out some zoysia in my backyard. Thoughts?
zoysia is a pretty turf but turns paper sack brown in the winter
Hey Pete I live in Kansas! Is it a good time to aerate now!? I’m really exhausted trying to keep my lawn nice! My house was a foreclosure so you can only imagine how the lawn was when I bought it even though it was sodded when it was built! I do the pre emergent ,the fertilizing the weed and feed ! But nothing! It was super nice like on May and beginning of June then I stared to have so much nutsedge ! Horrible I know!! Lol! Then I applied some nutsedge hammer ant it helped but now I have all kinds of brow spots everywhere because of the nutsedge I’m killing ! I have sprinklers system so no problem with water even though is been supper hot and no rain ! Should I aerate now ? Can that help!? I watch all your videos by the way !!! Love everything u do!!! Man those lines on Independence Day were epic!!!! Loved it! God bless America and our troops !
I think you need to get on a good lawn care program and stick to it bro. Aerate and seed in the fall
Pete, about how much did that full setup cost you sir? Tractor, Sprayer, Aerovator
Hey, Pete, that's a nice rig you have set up to do several jobs quickly on those sports fields. That makes for a productive day for you.
One question, Pete. In this video you said that you mixed RGS, Humic 12, and Air-8 at the max rates and applied them all at one time. I have been told by Greene County Fert to mix no more than two products in one application. Do you agree with that instruction or do you mix more of their products together as long as your dilution rate is correct? I wish I had access to an aerator. :-)
Mr. Ben follow GCF instructions......
Hey Pete question, what can I do with my yard it’s full of water grass? Thanks for your time! Blessings on your day!!
Sedge Hammer herbicide is good
That ventrac was worth every freakin penny
yes it is
hell yeah
Now you're just showing off with your cool toys. #jealous
Hey Pete, I am pretty familiar with Bermuda as well, I kill every bit that shows up in a yard! Bahaha. Keep'em coming bro. John P. gave you a nice compliment in his video today as well. His video was a good food analogy like you've done. Lol Like minds!
Please forgive my ignorance. What does GCI stand for?
Here's hoping they don't go and replace that field you're putting your hard work and effort into with astroturf :P That Ventrac is the bees knees!
they shut down all play for the next month so they can heal up. those soccer cleats are ROUGH on that turf!!!
Seems like it would make more sense to put the Aera-Vator implement on the rear of the machine so the wheels don't pack the soil back in. I noticed that you were running in reverse to fix that. Looks like a dandy machine either way. Hope you have a good one bro!
When you go backwards it tears the ground up even more that's why I did that good comment
Hey Pete, hows this field doing? I’m looking into starting a community volunteer group to take care of the youth soccer/baseball fields. Do any of the other sports fields you manage have cool season grasses?
Bryan Robles they look great. Dormant right now. All Bermuda grass
Curious as to why you used Air-8 along with the area-vator?
to speed the process up
Hey Pete what brand of tall fescue seed do you use? Thanks
Ryan Lum GCI Tall Fescue... LoL
Thanks love the channel
What fert were you using?
one of my mixes 27-0-10
Pete, do you plan on doing videos focused on tools?
if you mean equipment I just filmed a 25 minute vid going over all types of seeding equip
Pete, who makes Aeravators?
first products
60" Aera-Vator? You like it better then your GrassHopper set up?
Blah ha ha man now you know thats a crazy question LOL NO COMPARISON
Did you get rid of your grasshopper?
Timothy Henderson not yet. But that’s coming. Ha ha
Matt Martin will be proud of you.
Rob Hawkins yes he would. Lol
Damn kids 😂
“Get your Bermuda right”...That must have hurt
it sure did LOL
You mean #GetYourDevilGrassRight 😂

GCI Tur
Pete, how nervous does it make you to drive that ventrac back on to your lawn after touching all that Bermuda. I don't even want to walk across my neighbor's with me to yard and back to my own without taking my shoes off.
blah ha ha BELIEVE ME!!!! It gets cleaned WELL!!!!!!
You don't know what your missing
I call it creeper grass.
It will creep FOR SURE
Pete, the only way to get Bermuda right is with glyphosate!!
smast 16 it just keeps coming back
😂
loading a video tomorrow about that
Dont talk too much pls.
