Given the spikes wobbling under power I didn't know we'd see such clean holes resulting. And equipped with options on it you've shown, it really performs several operations WELL on each pass!! Nice result. Thank you for posting your try-out. 👍
Hey I agree with Dave. Vibration Loosen up soil with those spikes opens the soil to better conditioning , fertilization and seeding. Excellent video. Those Ventracs are nice machines
I would really like a Aera-vator. I am going to look for a used one in the next year. If I cant find a decent used one I may just buy a core. They both work very well. If I used it for a buisness the Aera-vator would be ideal. If I get the core it leaves more money left over for auxiliary hydraulics and a grapple. The list of attachments and accessories that you want never end when you buy a Ventrac.
Just opening the soil with that Aea-Vator will definitely help the lawn! Very nice machine 👍

Hello from Chicago! No lawn here but I'm curious, what is better for the lawn? Just the holes or the cores over the lawn that break down?
The cores do break down and help reduce thatch, so the plugs may be a little better.
I wonder if those holes will ever fill in?
They fill in eventually. Really helps with compaction.
Does that hold 8 suitcase weights like the core aerator does?
I have only used it with the seed box, But without the seedbox it will have brackets for up to 8 weights.
So which one are you buying
