Do you understand that GOD literally gives you everything that you have. He gives you your ho.e,car, job, friends family and food. Every moment of every day in your life comes from GOD. And he can take it all away at any time he chooses. There's nothing you have or do that doesn't come from him.
This is heartbreaking. Don't be too harsh. I was abandoned by all in 2010. I did have income to rent but the place I was renting gave me sewer gas poisoning. I ended up in the hospital. I got out and called a cab and went to the state park. I paid my taxi, got my vehicle, got a tent and got my thyroid meds and my dog and lived in a small tent. I have a state park unlimited pass. I was not so hurt by the struggle, but those that were supposed to care about me did not and that is a ping of pain I live with daily. A long road I had to take back to a comfortable home and learned how to live in God's Grace. I am not a drug addict, I am not a drinker, I worked hard all my life and took care of my babies as a single parent. So don't ever think you are better than anyone else because if it could happen to me, it could happen to you too. I came out a much stronger person than I was going in. My ex that abandoned me left me with a 10,000 debt I knew nothing of but Thank God I was relieved. And even so called friends that had bedrooms did not offer. These are friends I had helped so many times. They owe me nothing. They only called and said what cha gonna do? What did they think I was going to do? Actually I enjoyed my camping. I stayed for 11 per night. I had water, electricity, and a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and my tv. I had internet on my phone. I decided hey, my suv is in great shape and I had everything I needed, so I decided to travel. But my best friend did however get her parents to come get me. But her mom was a little abusive. I will not get into that. Vulnerable people get abused just because they are vulnerable. But the main thing that I am saying here is please do not be harsh. It could happen to anyone.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. You sound like you have a good and kind heart and realize that people are human beings not human doings

This is so sad. I don’t think anyone would have slept in a public bathroom if she had any other option.
Santa Monica used to be a fun place to go when I was a kid. Time has changed life so much, and not for the better.
So very true. I used to love going to Venice. But don’t wanna go there anymore.
this is just some parts... the beach is still there. most people don't go to the restrooms anyways
They have offered homeless people shelter but some turned it down because they don’t want to live by the rules of where they were going to live. And when they gave some a place to live 1 room, with a kitchen and a bathroom someone started a fire and burned down about 15 or so units they do try to help them.
Very true
I know from some homeless friends, those shelters many times are filled with drug addicts doing drugs, and violent people. If you are homeless and don't wish to be around that, where do you go?
democrats always be oppressing the poor
The government has toooooo much patience to all those homeless people but they are taking advantage and dont listen anymore!!!! So its time for the government to BE FIRM !!!>
no that is where you are wrong. I have seen a lot of people be moved like that and they are not offered any shelter. If you don't believe me go there I guess they do this on Fridays and pretend to be homeless and see for yourself they aren't going to offer you a damn thing!
I see this everyday all day been houseless for 4 months living in my car I'm parked by a shelter and there are makeshift tents/camps everywhere it's really taking a toll on my own mental health and I don't even do drugs... this is bad it's everywhere and getting worse day by day.
I'm sorry to hear. That sucks
It’s true. I see it from just driving the bus. One year people are ok, next year they are not.
It's the government fault. The American dream , where is it (heaven only). After the stimulus checks things went up . They're building storage units and medicating people. If you don't know Jesus, the average person would crack up, just by how things are. Food ,shelter, crime
Any updates? Hope you’re doing okay.

Yes, a garage can be converted into housing. I'm thinking about going that route.
I don’t feel sorry for most of these people on the streets because I know there is way too much help. I worked in social services and know how much help there is for these people.
The problem is these people do not want to follow the rules of the shelter places, refuse to get drug treatment and mental health. Streets need to be cleaned and these people need to be cleaned. The workers doing the cleaning deserve an applause.

They are fentanyl addicts, and they are not capable of doing anything no matter how simple it is nor living in housing. They would destroy it in no time. Where I live, street homeless break into unoccupied houses and destroy them by pulling wall wires out and cutting metal pipes just to sell for fentanyl. Fentanyl addiction is extreme in every possible way, and destroys humans mentally and physically beyond the point of repair.
Yup, I've had people threaten to take my life for filming them in public, I laughed at the last guy, I lifted my skateboard and asked him to come take it. He decided, thankfully for him, that a 60+ year old crackhead with noodle arms armed with a two inch knife vs a healthy young man with a club would not be a good idea. 😆
Facts. I love how the channel Amagasset Press regularly puts that right to the test. It’s amazing how many people are misinformed about the fact that no one has any expectation of privacy in public.
For these individuals with severe and persistent mental illness that don't have families who can house, feed, love, and support them, the de-institutionalization movement was about the worst thing that could've happened to them. They are NOT better off living in the community when they have this level of functional impairment.

No matter how many times I see all the garbage they create, never fails to amaze me. Trying to just stay on beach where they no they'll be kicked out!!
This garbage is the same that they sello uyo on shoppp jajajaja concenciences of capitalismo bullshit
Errrr.... they kinda sorta have no place else to go. That's what "homeless" means.
Maybe one day Marjorie you come aware most this is not these people fought
I am sorry for all this Things they get in trash. The owners come back and think. Where is my staff,a Hard Life without Home 🧐😢🍀🕊🇩🇪
Happy 2023
Poor sanitation guys mannn...They need a raise!
For reals!
And now you know why there are no more public restrooms, they used to have pay-toilets all around town when I was a kid and it cost a dime to take a piss.
Einfach schrecklich..Jetzt wird diesen armen Menschen noch das letzte genommen was sie besitzen. Sehr traurig zu sehen. 😢
If people in the neighborhood would quit throwing their house hold items on the street. Then these people would not have all the crap they bring to the beach. So readily available they should be fined for contributing.
Who is the screaming, babbling lady?
Either a mental, or a drug case......Or both.
Nowadays street homeless and are fentanyl addicts, and not capable of doing anything no matter how simple it is. Street encampments are open air drugs markets brewing all sorts of crime. Majority of them will die from fentanyl overdose, or drugs related violence. Second hand fentanyl smoke can easily kill you in no time. Street homeless gradually destroy everything around themselves. We will never reduce street homelessness without reducing the amount of fentanyl drug available on our streets. If they can afford, they smoke fentanyl up to 100 times a day. That's how all these fires are started. Homeless advocates are mentally stuck in Pathological Altruism, and all they do is enabling fentanyl addicts remain as close as possible to their fentanyl supplier.
They will be back
Put them in mental health facility. Can’t function in society’s any more
Which facility?
That's what they used to do. But back in the 80's, the Reagan crew dumped them all out into the streets. That is when this problem started.
She's like-GET OUT MY HOUSE!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Every homeless person that has a grocery cart from a grocery store that's still in business needs to go straight to jail for theft of private property. Every time a homeless person takes a grocery cart from a store the store has to replace it and then the price is passed on to the customers of that store.
Agreed. It’s theft, and illegal, but the police refuse to enforce those laws.
@Daniel Daniels I have seen on some of the Santa Monica clean up videos that the sanitation workers just put the cart in the back of the trash truck a compact it with the rest of the trash. I'm quite sure that Los Angeles area has the means to sanitize the cart and and then call the company and have them pick it up.
@@chestertaylor6257 I’ve seen that too. California likes to talk a lot about how they care about sustainability and the environment, but their actions tell a different story.
@Daniel Daniels I can't tell you how many times I've seen people just throw trash on the ground. I guess they figure when people stop coming to California on vacation that it won't affect them either. Even though the money people bring on vacation helps the entire state and everyone in it.
How long is it between these clean ups ? It’s amazing how much crap they accumulate and are able to get down to the beach. Might be cheaper to just have security posted on the beach 24/7 to keep them out.
Good idea 💡
You’re sick. You’ll be humbled someday.
They could save some money on the clean ups and just make piles of the homeless crap on the beach and have bon fires decent people can enjoy after work
@@iexist6021 Nah, not me man.
@@BarryWinner2075 you’d rather have them executed, wouldn’t you? Just be honest.
Was America like this in the 50s and 60s?
No! Products were still American made. Lots of jobs in Manufacturing and Farming. Now with Trade Agreements that both Political parties supported and Products being made and grown out of country what you have is a third-world economy!
No.
No.
You could tell the city workers ain’t too thrilled. This kind of stuff stays with you.
They probably do this on a day to day basis. That's there job
Yea they are traumatized already they cant sleep at night

My goodness, how things have changed. Is there anywhere that the homeless can go?
Not on the beach
Yes. There is. There are actually a plethora of options for them. Lord knows we get enough stolen from us every paycheck to sponsor that sh*t. But the majority still CHOOSE the street.
nope they have to go to the next block because the shelter do not help the homeless.
Hell 😂
Wow these guys see it all. Those poor individuals really need help. Sad. Thank you so much bringing the quiet pain and putting it all away. Mad Love with so much honor and Respect I give you. Y9U ARE HELD HIGH... THANK YOU
People literally treat stray dogs better than they treat homeless people these days. At least the dogs can go to an animal shelter and be fed.
Mil vezes os animais, que são puros por natureza sem maldade, o ser humano é muito ruim

This just breaks my heart I pray in the name of Jesus people that has a lot of money comes together and get help for the homeless we need help all over this world may God bless this young lady
STFFFFFOOOOO....the corrupt politicians have converted the city of L.A, into a dump..... How much money does California give to homeless?
The 2021‑22 budget provided HCD $2.75 billion ($1.45 billion in 2021‑22 and $1.3 billion in 2022‑23) to fund additional Homekey projects that can be converted and rehabilitated to provide permanent housing for persons experiencing homelessness................ let's kick all the homeless out of our beaches, parks, and avenues...
Money won't fix this problem.
We need Universal Basic Income , that will really help out the homeless and SSI for the homeless with mental issues
Lol the lady at the swing😂
I wonder how many shopping carts the stores loose from all these homeless people!!!
Too many. Soon, they'll require a $5 deposit for the use of the cart, at the stores, that will be returned when turned in.
It is getting to the point that they are loosing so much money. At the ALDI store in my town, the carts are chained together and you have to put 25 cents in the slot to be able to get a cart and use. I am surprised they have not gone up on them.

I unwittingly bought a "homeless corner". I would have to call Home Depot in advance, because I would worry that I could get arrested if someone saw six carts in the back of my truck, before I could explain I was simply returning them...
They were removing homeless tents by the Gold's Gym and put about 6 new shopping carts right in the trash truck and crushed them, what a waste, they cost $200 each, they should just park them on the corner and get the shopping cart recovery service to pick them up,
They have billions for ukraine but they dont have $ to help that people

I hope that yelling woman doesn’t wee on herself

If you are Homeless you need to live in the designated area's. That way you can get services and some help. You don't get to squat where ever you want to.
YUP!
Thank God this make me love my country Ethiopia where any homeless person can sleep anywhere and roam around freely without harassment. People are so patient and understanding but so so sad in the USA how they treat them in a country so rich.
Its a fine line Daniel, something that you might not understand, and something I really can't explain to you so that you could understand it.
Ethiopian food is not appetizing
GREAT. Problem solved. They can all go live in Ethiopia! Daniel you should start a movement.
Only cause a contry is rich does not mean people are.
Did your homeless do drugs? This is how most of these people got this way and we don"t want them around our children and grandchildren!
Now that's a sweet crib! Very well thought out and measured.
WoW a brand new shopping cart? That should be returned to the store.
Insane, truly a reflection of So. Cal and tolerance as a virtue.
This is really sad

@@sarbantz I've seen this comment copied and reposted everywhere, it's not original. Coming from someone who is currently coming out of homelessness I can tell you you're 100% wrong. I spent 7 months homeless before I got a voucher through the state as I wasn't earning enough to pay rent with the soaring prices where I live. I've never been a drug addict and I struggle to maintain professional relationships because of my 2 Learning disabilities Aspergers syndrome and ADHD. I was diagnosed. It is out of my control. I'm not sure if you would consider that mental health but I also struggle with depression stemming from a life with my disabilities. You have no clue what you're talking about. Many of the people I befriended in the shelter I stayed last winter have never touched drugs in their life and simply fell on terrible fortune like family members passing and the pandemic laying them off. There's honestly a trillion reasons why people become homeless and pulling yourself up and out is a long difficult battle for some people. Unless you've experienced homelessness first hand you have no platform to speak. Also just because someone is visibly homeless doesn't mean they take fentanyl either, I'm not denying that many do but the lack of shelters or car ownership can leave people in public spaces too. Not everyone has friends or family who live nearby that will invite you to stay with little or no money
@@Anna-ut2gg nope. Where i live all street homeless are fentanyl addicts literally 💯. I am not talking about sheltered ones just street homeless. Yes, exceptions are always possible but they are statistical outliers. You should be proud of yourself, you are such a unicorn.
@@Anna-ut2gg thank you for this response! There's less drug use and severe mental illness than fools like "Jab" are claiming, the rent is simply too high everywhere, I myself have no drug habits and no mental illness yet I've never been able to afford a place to live despite working multiple jobs, and I've been almost homeless several times. why are all houses/ apartments ungodly expensive? why can't we have tiny one-room efficiency places that are like $50 a month or something?? it's all $900+ at least, and then utilities and rent. how does anyone do anything???????????
