    What is Sequential Circuit?
    The Sequential Circuit is a type of digital circuit where the output of the circuit depends on the current inputs, as well as the past sequence of inputs.
    And since the output depends on the past inputs, this Sequential Circuit also has a memory element.
    In this video, the block diagram of the Sequential Circuit has been explained using the example.
    Types of Sequential Circuits:
    There are two types of Sequential Circuits
    1) Synchronous Sequential Circuits
    2) Asynchronous Sequential Circuits
    Asynchronous Sequential Circuits:
    The Asynchronous Sequential Circuits respond to the change in the input immediately.
    In these circuits, the memory element within the circuit responds to the change in the input immediately.
    Synchronous Sequential Circuits:
    In these circuits, the memory element within the circuit responds to change in the input only at the discrete-time intervals. The output state of the memory element changes as per the clock signal.
    The Synchronous Sequential Circuits can be further classified into two types:
    1) Edge Triggered
    2) Level Triggered
    Level Triggered Sequential Circuits:
    In these circuits, the memory element within the circuit responds to the input, when the clock level goes high. (or low). These circuits are sensitive to the clock level.
    Edge Triggered Sequential Circuits:
    In these circuits, the memory element within the circuit responds to the input during the clock transition. (At the rising or the falling edge of the clock signal)
    In this video, the basics of the Sequential Circuit and its different aspects are explained in detail.
    This video will be helpful to all the students of science and engineering in understanding the basics of the Sequential Circuits.

    Some people define Flip flop as gated Latch. While some define it as Master-Slave configuration of two latches and hence a negative edge trigg latch.
    Sir please consider this doubts while making future videos

      Yes, I am going to cover the difference between latch and Flip flop. And will also cover master slave configuration.

    Sir this ques is from different topic but plzz clarify the difference between solenoid and inductor

    • @RiverBeard
      @RiverBeard 2 года назад +1

      An inductor is any circuit element designed to build up a high magnetic field in proportion to the current pumped through it. A solenoid is a geometric shape that happens to make a good inductor when it is built around a piece of iron

    • @RohitSaini-xn2vd
      @RohitSaini-xn2vd 2 года назад

      @@RiverBeard it implies every inductor must b solenoid....... But every solenoid may or may not b inductor

    To do a sequencial circuit we need a latch. But is latch a sequencial circuit or not?

    • @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS
      @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS  Год назад +2

      Latch is also sequential circuit. It is very basic building element of sequential circuit to build a larger sequential circuits.

    • @marvnet8898
      @marvnet8898 Год назад +1

      @@ALLABOUTELECTRONICS But if you say that in order to do a sequential circuit we need memory and, therefore, a latch, I don't understand how it comes that we can do a sequential circuit, like a latch is, without memory and without a latch. It seems all so unlogical...In other words, since it is possibile to do a sequential circuit without following the paradigm of a sequential circuit you presented then what you presentetd cannot be a general paradigm of a sequential circuit. I don't know how to explain...
