@@JoasPlace Along powerlines as You see in this video. But a couple of weeks ago in Värmland, we found awesome trails that was "expedition like" and very fun and sometimes demanding or let's say more technical than our normal forest roads. Very fun.
I have this paying on my TV while working on my laptop and testing the latest build of That Moto App. As the proud owner of a KTM 790 Rally, the sounds are very familiar, and each time I look up I see good fun! Thanks for sharing! Are you also in BC? The terrain looks familiar much of the time. :)
Wow this comment means a lot to me thank you! When I was looking into an 890 Dirt Chimps was one of the first things I came across, seeing how much fun you guys have on Scrappy and Cosmo sold me right away . I've watched a lot of your videos, by far my favorite ADV channel!! I'm just outside of Sechelt on the Sunshine coast, I'm really hoping to make it to the adventure bike gathering this year 🤘
@@DirtChimps for sure, that would be a lot of fun! I honestly haven't found too many single tracks I can finish but there is a ton of riding out here. I haven't been out there yet but I've heard a skilled rider can make it up to Lake 7
I've had mine just over a year now with no issues. Mind you I'm just under 4k km but it's all been pretty hard riding so only time will tell. But I will say this it's by far the funniest bike I've ever ridden
Im horrified by the reliability in f the KTMs but enjoyed the video like no other!!! Great share guys. Maybe now that CF moto makes their engines reliability will improve and I will own one!!!🤘🤘
Yeah that's fair. I got sold on the bike before I heard about the reliability issues, fingers crossed for mine came without a gremlin haha. Thanks for the input 🤘
@@MRGS48 I've had a couple since the 790r launch, on 2nd 890R at the moment, no serious issues, a niggle here and there across the bikes but luckily nothing traumatic. I don't keep them long but typically trade them back with 20-30K kms on.
Whenever I see KTM's now I just see a nightmare waiting to happen. After my Adventure R caught the KTM Cam Cancer at low km and has been off the road for just shy of 6 months I'll never own another KTM.
Horrible to hear pal, really sucks. can you volunteer more detail? Not that a cam should ever fail but what's low km's, how old is the bike, new, warranty, and what was the response from the dealer?
Awesome trails guys! The landscape and terrain looks very similar to ours (Sweden). Perfect to chew up with these mighty beasts.
Thank you. I'm in BC Canada but damn I bet you have some amazing locations for riding!!
where in Sweden can we find roads like these? :)

How long have you had the bike? Have you had any issues with it yet ? Just asking because I really want one but a little scared.

The 890’s are fine. The first ones had some bikes have some issues. Recently most have been good
So far so good with mine, I've just been loving it!
How do you know? What has changed? im really considering putting my 24 890 rally up for sale because of the cam oiling issues i been hearing about.

That's fair, sounds like a pretty shitty experience. Fingers crossed I got one of the good ones!
What year is your bike? I’m thinking maybe the 24’s won’t have the issue

What's better than an 890..... Two 890 haha
Can't argue with that lol
Fun ride!
Cheers eh!
@@Rollin_free People are going to start thinking that BC is a great place to ride adventure bikes! 😀
It certainly is haha
