Erica Lieb yes it only took two other reboots before Netflix got it and made it right. I grew up on the original one, so I am so glad Netflix honored the old version and made something amazing. It is however, worth watching the old version, so you can see how they use a lot of the plot lines in LD and finessed them.
I love the new version but tbh the 80s version is still really fun, it’s such a zero-stress breakfast time cartoon 😂 which is a contrast with S6 of the Netflix version, that low-key made me cry over a few dead Alteans 😕
