Great review! I have the CT-2, but this was still a good video.

UI is very nice but apart from that, lacks features of the other monitors (ruideng/yzxstudio) and costs at least double
It is so far however the only one with at least 1 neat display mode ... I really hate the ultra cluttered ones ...
I made my own monitor but it’s in this quite large generic project enclosure box so ... can’t really compete with these, which is why I’m giving in

Does it show discharge data ?
ie. will it show reverse current flow if the charger has a faulty blocking diode and leeches current from the device ?
This is exactly what causes many usb charger based fires. The battery pack overheats during rapid discharge.
You will need a much more expensive device than this to show that data. It does have memory though. Thanks for watching!
Small world ... Interesting that I ended up on your channel for this too so I may as well subscribe then..... Don't take this as criticism but your reviews are very much neutral. It would be nice to have a year end personal opinion on your current favourite flooders and throwers. My very bests to you and thanks for the reviews
shafnet come Check out my Facebook group Flashaholics Anonymous to share and talk more about electronics and flashlights. Thanks for watching!
shafnet I used to do this but companies want everything about the product explained, shown, demonstrated and quality. I have recieved many bad products only after telling the companies of my finding they tell me not to release video so they can fix the issue. I am not biased but do get a little excited on some flashlights! :-)
Awesome bit of kit the best i have ever seen

It’s really fricken cool. Wish there was better documentation. What’s there has translation issues, and so does the unit itself. “Don’t plug-in any devices except the being-triggered guilty!” What!? And this is actually in the machine, on screen. I’m assuming they mean “Do not connect anything other than the device you want to check”, or maybe “Verify nothing is connected before continuing!”, or similar...but the warning is in red, so we need to be damn sure so we don’t fry something. The unit is incredible, especially for the cost, but there are little translation issues in-unit, and within the instructions. I hope they fix it, and offer firmware updates for those of us that already have one too.
crab453 triggering is for USB 3.0 to increase voltages which you need to know what your doing. Thanks for watching!
I know what that is, and understand the risk. I just mean it'd be nice to see such an awesome device have better english translation. Some won't have a clue what that means going in. I've got an adjustable load and a multimeter checking it out. This is the best one I've used so far, at this kind of price anyway.

i want to test the charging current of a portable air duster i bought recently. It has a USB-C Port but i only have USB-A power adaptors, can i use this product to analyse the charging current? I have actually a cheap USB tester but its kind of defective now after i tested the air duster, now it only shows 2V instead of 5V all the time when i test devices with it.
Check the setting adjustment on it. You may have changed it by mistake. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec hi, unfortunately it is a very cheap device for like 7 Euro, it doesnt have any buttons except for illumination. It does show only 1.6V now but the ampere seems to be correct with 1.8A and watts with 10 but sometimes the watts jumps to 50W for a second. Maybe i have to just order your device in the video, i hope its plug and play and i can just plug in the power adapter and the air duster device
this must be the rolls royce of usb testers at 70 dollars but cost 3+ times more than a true RMS multi meters you can get on Amazon.
WV591 This is the most accurate of its kind! Accept no substitute. Thanks for watching!
Hello what's the difference between the ct1 and ct2?
LGBT KILLER I believed one has ramping feature while the other one doesn't. Thanks for watching!
CT-2 support graph recording, PD protocol analysis and has PC app for reading or logging data and also update firmware. but the microUSB port use for PC link not for microESR. to test it recommend use a typeC-micro adapter the result resistance will increase a little.
CT-1 no graph recording but has microESR
It is possible to permanently feat on Conrrol panel?
Screen saver is not adjustable. Thanks for watching!
Hi, Does it can log data into RS232 like hyperterminal?
Only with addition hardware. Thank for watching!
Nice tester, but a little too pricey.
It is a little pricey but does a lot. Thanks for watching!
