This is the ruideng um34c usb meter or charge doctor. It is the successor to the um24c. This meter also support usb 3.0. Although the um25c is the better unit but this meter is also very good.

I love how you explained the basic difference between UM34C and UM25C. I was wondering which was newer but I couldn't find this info anywhere. But I wonder .... since all these Ruideng meters (UM24/25/34) seem to be old (many RUclips reviews are from 4 years ago), what is the newest one? Is Ruideng still in business?
Excellent guide. A couple things to note, when you get this new out of the package, there is a protective film on both sides. You might want to take it off. It's hard, but it is there and will come off. You need to loosen the screws to rip the film out of under them. Secondly, the help function works in all screens and is really informative of the functions in each screen.
Thanks man. i kept the film to prevent scratches because i keep the meter with some sharp objects and other things.

How do you disable sleep mode?
The 9999.9 ohms thing just means it’s an open connection.....
Any one knows here how to detect 12volt usage if I want power and amps reading from a 12 colt device? I know USB's are for 5volts. But I can connect 12 volts through USB using other extensions. So did any one tried this method? It seems to me that the device does not detect 12 volt. Any luck out there?
Why is the um25c better than that um34c? I heard connectivity to PC? Any other features? accuracy?
Um25c has more resolution, it can measure upto 4 decimal place accuracy and can measure current upto 5A. Whereas the Um34c can only measure upto 4A. The Um25c can also detect more charging protocols compared to Um34c.However Um25c only support usb 2.0 whereas Um34C supports usb 3.0.
I have just bought this but where the Bluetooth switch should be I only have a soldered link.

there are two version available one with bluetooth and one without.
UM34 is without bluetooth.
UM34C it with bluetooth. C- stands for connectivity.
