@Sp I play both games. Even if Honkais chat room is full of memes. It is nothing compared to the cesspool of genshin twitter community. Absolutely disgusting groomers and pedos everywhere. Doesn't helpneither when they go full racist on characters they don't like and don't even start about the shipping side of the community either...
first i played genshin, i thought it gonna be far more better than honkai.. but then i try to play honkai.. i never thought its gonna be better than genshin. and i never played genshin again.
read till end but it's very long.. I'm playing both games for a while. I've reached AR49 in genshin and archon quest of sumeru. I'm lvl 82 in honkai completed almost every chapter. Have half of the characters in the honkai game. And even after experiencing both games. I can assure you that honkai has better graphics like up to 120fps on pc different kind of battle kits for each character and sometimes it depends on their battlesuit that changes their battlekit(atk movements). For each character you have at least 3-6 outfits depends on the character release, even though most of the time they they release an outfit for a new character. The story is decent not for everyone. Personally I liked it. You also have the option of Dorm something that is similar to the serinita pot In genshin where you have your characters but in chibi versions. And you are wrong, even though the game is indeed not an open world, it still has a several modes one two of which you can roam and explore even if not a lot but it has its own story. We get up to 3-4 events per month some have something to do with the game and some just a side event. You have co op(kind of) and several ranking systems which you don't have in genshin. Surly genshin is an open world and stuff. And yes it has beautiful views and music and personality my favourite place is Liyue and my main is haizou. But I've recently noticed that genshin community having a weird obsession over characters like Hu Tao or Raiden. You can even find her on po*n hub which disgusteds me. I've never seen anything like that in the Honkai community besides people calling Aponia and Herrscher of Thunder(Raiden Mei(now Herrscher of Origin))Mommy. Or calling some male characters that you can't play Daddy, but they never perverted them. It's a rarity to happen. Don't get me wrong it's not like I think people from genshin community are bad I just think that most of them are weird in the very odd way. And even though honkai impact is an only female characters game there is in fact a male character you can play in those two open world I've mentioned before and on some occasions you have stages when you play as a story male character. I think both games are good, I prefer Honkai over genshin as my favourite game since I've played it since I was in elementary school. Even though I don't know genshin too well, I still give it a chance and hope people will stop fighting. I hope you read to this point thank you...

I'm confused. Every musical artist chooses a genre they like and stick to it most of the time. EDM is what HoYoverse normally goes with. That's like complaining a rapper should try some more "original" than rap. What does original mean here anyways if you're complaining about the genre since genres stem from years and years of history?

@@kiuhh1118 Why change a formula that works? Their trailer OSTs always feature a beat drop, but the community has always responded positively to them. The EDM and beatdrops are consistent but they mix other genres with it, and they've been doing that more lately. Like Sussanah's here with the mix of middle eastern music or Elysia's themes that have some classical music. What other things could they do with the EDM genre that you have in mind though? I'm curious
