Loved seeing your process through the wiring, I'm trying to learn some of the basics with some computer bits to get my head around the diagrams, so its great to see the process in action. Awesome vid as always man, looking forward to see how the wide finder works!
Wiring is always fun 😒 lol. I did the same wiring mods on my CB350. Found a 12v 15amp reg/rec on ebay. Works good. Like to upgrade to electronic ignition. Great vid man! ✌
Very nice work as always Steve, loving the super slim electrics tray! I have the light green wire and the dark green wire with red stripe on my 360 too. They don’t connect in to anything on mine, they both just end near the ignition switch. I think I recall seeing these wires on one of the foreign model wiring diagrams connect into the clutch lever. Was basically a switch that meant clutch lever had to be pulled in for the electric starter to engage.... I think. Anyway great work getting that wiring all tidied up, it’s a tedious job but you smashed it out 👊 Looking forward to hearing that exhaust note too. Cheers
From experience I would get that regulator as much airflow as possible. Especially with the lithium battery or you could end up with a smoke screen that would make a tank jealous.
When it comes to the suspension...are you at all worried about the tire hitting your electrics tray in a big bump? I’m planning a build of a ‘78 CB750. I’d like to use the stock seat. So I’m worried about making the tray too deep.
With the new higher rear shocks I think I'll be ok. I added an inch or more of space there. Also the spring tension is adjustable so I can tighten them up if needed
Thanks! It's the Antigravity 4-cell. You need to mod the charging system on these old bikes but it weighs nothing! I talk about it in this vid...ruclips.net/video/5XA3UvM-s1g/видео.html
Hi Steve, great job and a lot of help for us, wiring is always a pain in the culo ...lol. How is the temperature treating you there in the garage ? What happened to your left hand glove ?? I have two from different families too but that one had a hard life...lol thanks for the video. Gus
Hey Gus, still cold as ever! It's ok though, headed down south to the warmth for a few days 😎. Yeah I go through gloves pretty quick lol... Should really pay attention before I start the camera 😂
here's the wiring diagram with the diode and the other wire. if you need the whole manual, lemme know... www.dropbox.com/s/c38z6du7zx6mqps/cb360T_wiring.png?dl=0
killer walkthru TY!
Awesome tip about the separate windings and how to combine their efforts. Will definitely implement that on the 360. Great video as always.
Don't worry about it, we are used to wear those things too...lol Have a great time in the warm weather. Gus
Very surprised on how that all fit in that slim electrics tray and not really having to modify the harness👍 Nice job
Yeah, so far so good! 🤞
Wow! Very "electric - fying" video......Just awesome video! Thanx!!!
😂 Thanks Björn!

Noted 👍 I may just mount it underneath to start
I will soon have to fight with my 600 bandit's harness... wish me good luck.. 😕

Is that one of the inexpensive reg/rectifier units from eBay? I'm keen to try one out but not sure if it'll be worth it to save a few bucks.
It's from Common Motor Collective. Those guys are all about the CB twins
That battery is tiny! What battery is that? Nice work!

diode is for the clutch/neutral switch, as long as you're in neutral when starting, you don't need it IIRC.
Thanks!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍 knew it must of been out there somewhere 😁
cheers, i enjoy the vids!
