Regarding the suspension, what I've learned is that they used special shock absorbers present on Lexus too. They have mechanical valves that open and close depending on the road conditions. One set opens/closes on the big road ondulations, the other on the high frequency bumps to give a smoother ride. It's a sort of purely mechanical adaptive suspension but not as smart as an electronic one.
What I find annoying is a road noise from my Toyota Corolla, windows are enough isolated (2.0 hybrid). I need to test drive this one to see if it's better. Other than that it is an amazing car.
It’s not a huge improvement. It’s not as bad as the Corolla but you still have the traditional road noise from Toyota. If you’re in the market for one of this, I’d highly recommend a used, 1 year old Lexus ES. It’s the luxury variant of this car and it’s insanely quiet.
@@redbull4fly797 I dont know if this helps. I'm from U.S. so I have the XSE trim and I would say it is insanely quiet for a car that goes to the highway from 60-75 mph but because yall live in Europe and can go around 100 mph, it might be different for you.

You should test it 👍
Toyota muß das Thema "Geräuschdämmung" ENDLICH sehr Ernst nehmen!!!!!
Die Chinesen sind diesbezüglich schon um Welten voraus!!!!!

@@misterlove6225 Thanks for the info, but I really like toyota safety sense 3.0, which I have now and lexus es doesn't have.
