It was a real shit in combat .. No armor , the gun have No accuracy and when it fire .. The turret flew because she wasn't made for a gun of 152 mm .. Thats Why the kv2 was build 100 only ..
I remember back in the 50's we had this old wreck of a Russian tank on our school playground for the kids to play on. I think it was a T-34. It had a big hole in it's side to get in and out of. I don't know where it came from but by the 1960's it was gone.
Go and google it youself, they are NOT the same tank, the KV-1s uses a smaller turret mounting a 76.2mm gun while the KV-85 uses a large turret mounting a 85mm gun.
What I meant by the same tank is that they had the same chassis and gun.The KV-1S had a smaller turret, but only by a few centimetres,so it's not a big difference. They used to share the same gun,but since KV-85 had a bigger turret, they used that space to mount a bigger gun.So they were pratically the same and check Wikipedia, the truth is all there ;)
Gonçalo Silva Check wiki yourself idiot, you're spewing a lot of crap. The turret on the KV-1s is significantly smaller than the turret on the KV-85, so significant that in order to fit the KV-85 turret they had to enlarge the turret ring, expand the hull and even remove the hull mounted MG to have enough room. They did not share the same gun, idiot, KV-1s uses a 76.2mm gun while KV-85 uses a 85mm gun. Try again idiot.
There were no tanks in 1911... the first tank came in 1915: Little Willy. Made by britan, but it never saw service, then in 1916 they came with the mark I.
I still don't understand how that rolling fortress tank was supposed to work. Was it self propelled? Was someone supposed to sit inside it? Or was it just a weighted object that rolled down a hill? I'm not sure if it could even be called a tank.
+Ol' Mr. Ellis it seems like some kind of manned projectile type vehicle , like the kugel panzer but without any weapons other than it's weight to crush things
For starters, it would have been propelled by numerous engines, which I think were steam boiler, in a crankshaft operation, like a massive engine. The sides of the vehicle would not rotate, nor would the insides, since the middle "wheels" would propel the vehicle, steering and moving like a tank. Also, on the contrary, it would have had 100-130 mm guns (sources vary) to use for defense against enemies from the sides.
also you missed two other KV-1 based tanks the KV-11 and KV-8 was a flamethrower variant of the KV-1, the KV-11 was a KV-1 rearmed a 85 millimetre gun.
Good video. I have heard that the multiple turret tanks were death traps. Hatches were often blocked by the turrets, but it is an interesting idea in the evolution of the tank. The long tanks must have had a huge turning radius. I just don't see them turning inside their own length like a modern tank.
I think I have never seen a W.W.I.I tank with three turrets. That way two could fier forward. The top one could treves and fier backwards like a real battel ship. The rear, and forward guns would have limited fier arks. But the top guns could effectly double the bombardment front, or rear as needed. I think this was the idea behind the Russian five turreted tank. I think the lower turrets should have been mounted on a 360 degree revolving carrisel. So if one cannons fier ark was knocked out. You could compensate by constely bring up another fully loaded gun.
The ISU series were originally devised to be howitzers mounted on a tank chassis to provide support fire for the T-34s etc. However, their use against Panzers was found to be devastating. Wher the fog of battle raged, the Panthers etc couldn't see them to pick them off at long range. They were limited by the small traverse of the weapon, so had to rely on the tank's steering to get them pointing in the general direction of the enemy tank. Later developments included a much longer gun, but was not put into production because of mechanical issues.
The KV-VI Behemoth tank you showed at 13:16 is a well-known fake. It was a plastic model built for a sci-fi contest in 1997 and it's been reposted around the internet ever since: www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/soviet/KV_VI_Fake_Tanks.php
Mihailo Mitrovic It took real genius to first build the nuclear weapons and we also had to first build the B-29 Superfortress ,a plane which Russia stole from us, to carry Little Boy and Fat Man to Japan. So yes Russia has a few geniuses but we American's had and still have quite a few ourselves.
Fun fact, the Behemoth was not a real tank idea. It was some modeller from the early days of the internet that cut up a bunch of model kits, made that thing, then made up a bunch of fake stuff about it www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/soviet/KV_VI_Fake_Tanks.php
+wangl601 yeah, but the first few KV-2 tanks were armed with re-bored 6 inch / 152mm naval guns from scrapped russian cruisers , the M-10 was just a mass-prodused version of those original 6 inch guns
Re-bored naval guns? Interesting. But the naval guns are usually heavy and with longer barrels. Re-bored (and shortened)130mm guns? One of Br-2's prototypes was used by navy as coastal gun, maybe something like that?
KV2😍😍😍
It was a real shit in combat ..
No armor , the gun have No accuracy and when it fire .. The turret flew because she wasn't made for a gun of 152 mm ..
Thats Why the kv2 was build 100 only ..
The KV2 was more reliable than you give it credit for also 1 KV2 held off an entire SS panzer division for 2 weeks
Axel bl
ck l
Jacob Moore it’s meant for bunker busting
Jacob Moore where the fuck did you get that? You’re thinking of when a kv2 held a panzer division off for one day, not two weeks!
I love how the engines are brand new, but they're right off the bat already forced to carry around 20~45 tons of steel
KV-2: The kind of tank to jam its own turret when firing at the wrong degree.
IS-3 is the best from early tanks on my opinion. Design is realy fantastic!!!
i love the t10m
Is4>>>>>>is3
IS -3 a monster ,i think that time the IS-3 was indestructible. Was much more better then anything else .
Ok ok .. But Why he has Been use just for a parade in 1946? :)
Because he serv nothing
Stop play wot .
Axel black he has no chance to fight ,becouse t -34 was enough as well ;) Thats why is-3 serv nothing .
I remember back in the 50's we had this old wreck of a Russian tank on our school playground

Где ?
Jospeph Stalin erased
We didn't penetrate their armour.
guessimalivinglegend Oh WoT player.
NPW ,wirkungstreffer :)
NPW were hit
guessimalivinglegend
I knew I'd find at least one tanker amid all these tank videos xD
Thank you for putting the video together, I really enjoyed it.
KV-2:“beep beep all done ready for fire PIN! BOOOOOM! Sherman tank dead”
yeah the KV-2 had a slow rotating turret good luck m8
did I also mention that the KV had iron for armor
haloplayer 117pro But steel is a mix of Iron and zinc, an alloy of course.
American guns did not drill much at a distance of 700m but the size of the caliber made it a nightmare (m4)
You forgot the KV-85)
*****
Nope, thats completely different tank.
+Андрей «TheProudCat» Герман Nope,you are wrong.KV-1S and KV-85 ARE the same tanks.Google it :)

13:17 it doesn’t need to turn: it will go straith to Berlin
I love all KV tank because it have a good armour like kv1s ,kv2 kv3 ,kv4,kv5,kv1,kv8 flamethrower
"That one bounced"
KV-2 Is love. KV-2 is life
Nice music, really gets you into that world war 2 mood
WoT players like me thank you for the video, in it we can see that many models that have in the game were made identical to the real models !!!
Russia made weird powerful tanks
That tank I love the most is IS-7 IS-4 and kv-2
KV-2 😍 Pleased with this video
good video mate keep them coming
it would be nice to know the crew number for each tank
SU-14-1 Model 1940, Russian Ferdinand? :) at 20:26

Richie Atkins I do I have the Russian fortress KV-4 :D hell yeah
There were no tanks in 1911... the first tank came in 1915: Little Willy. Made by britan, but it never saw service, then in 1916 they came with the mark I.
could you do a video on like cold war era to modern day german military weaponry?
I wanted him to do a complete ww2 weapons video.
+Michael Cromwell already working on it , but it's hard finding footage of the prototype weapons
Nice job. Thanks for the video.
1940-1945 THAT IS THE YEAR WHERE THE 122 MAYHEM STARTED ON RUSSIA:
IS-1
IS-2
IS-2 Model 1944
IS-3
IS-6
SU-122
Wedsthetic Wed is 7
??
IS 1 had an 85mm not 120.
IS4 IS4 IS7 ISU 152 ISU152M)))))))))
Where is the T-34-76 & T-34-85? Also the BT-2, BT-5 & BT-7?
these are monster not really produced tanks BTs and T-34 were small or average size
Here only heavy tanks.
Ok I'm sorry.
I think the T-34 is heavy tank because in some game T-34 are Heavy Tank.
its T34 and i know its woT, btw it isnt russian or WWII
kaget kamaz they’re not heavy tanks
Most of these were prototypes or didn't make it out of design phase, right? Also, the term 'tank' wasn't coined until the british mk1.
4:53, not to be rude but, I think that’s the SMK.
(EDIT) 10:25 - KV-2 Zis-6
thanks for your work! great!
WHY NOT IS7?
IS-7 Was AFTER 1945
I still don't understand how that rolling fortress tank was supposed to work.
+jmantime crushing cans since ww2
theres is absolutely no way how it could work😂
For starters, it would have been propelled by numerous engines, which I think were steam boiler, in a crankshaft operation, like a massive engine. That KV-4 profile at 11:45 looks like Panzer V Panther!
Very interesting and enjoyable thanks
also you missed two other KV-1 based tanks the KV-11 and KV-8 was a flamethrower variant of the KV-1, the KV-11 was a KV-1 rearmed a 85 millimetre gun.
Hey what about Kv3 Variant?can be a premium tank in Wotb
HF 122 is a mix up between the KV 122 and KV 220
What is the name of the second soundtrack please. ....
a hero theme mk2
awesome video!
Good video. I have heard that the multiple turret tanks were death traps. Hatches were often blocked by the turrets, but it is an interesting idea in the evolution of the tank. The long tanks must have had a huge turning radius. I just don't see them turning inside their own length like a modern tank.
IS-1 not prototype, is serial tank.
You have some mistakes in names of tanks
Example: object 740 is not right
It is the object 704
I think I have never seen a W.W.I.I tank with three turrets. That way two could fier forward. The top one could treves and fier backwards like a real battel ship. The rear, and forward guns would have limited fier arks. But the top guns could effectly double the bombardment front, or rear as needed. You could compensate by constely bring up another fully loaded gun.
It's too bad the multiple turret Tank Battleship thing didn't work out, that may be the coolest tank!
It's called Obj 704 not 740. Also where is Obj 268, 261 and 263???
Wait... Kv2 hasn't got naval gun, it's modified field howitzer
That Lebedenko tank was faster and had a better cannon then most of the tanks in service during WW1 it would have probrably been the tiger of WW1
KV-2 was have normal howitzer, not naval
KV-9 was normal KV-1 with other cannon. It was 75mm armor
a well know russian tank destroyer i know is the ISU
ISUs weren't tank destroyers.
The ISU series were originally devised to be howitzers mounted on a tank chassis to provide support fire for the T-34s etc. However, their use against Panzers was found to be devastating. Wher the fog of battle raged, the Panthers etc couldn't see them to pick them off at long range. The kv2 zis6 apeared with a 107mm devestating gun
That one is the better KV-2. The other one is for destroying fortified stuff.
I think is6 wasn't 250 armored
Imagine that first one in World of Tanks XD
Chroma Spark it would take centuries to get out of the spawn area
The rolling fortress too! omfg :'( . I need a hug immediately senpai! I feel like I am going to get PTSD.
+nyscout imagine the Tsar Tank in syia or iraq battling ISIS
jmantime Crush those assholes!
+Nyscout that would be cool but no one would have time for it cause it would have to something 24hours long or sped up to the speed of light
I'd pick the IS Tanks instead they have more penetration than the PB-35 APCBCHE And the G-530 Anti-concrete shell of the 152mm howitzer in the KV-2
very good work! russian tanks are top. the favorite is js-3. very modern!
Frank Goldstein IS-7 is best modern tank

Russia is genius America just dropping nuclear bombs
Mihailo Mitrovic rather than rusty ol tanks
Oskar Panokus 大和 actually no it isnt now the T-90MS is abrams keeps getting bogged down
Mihailo Mitrovic Buddy, your the perfect target for the russian propaganda
Mihailo Mitrovic It took real genius to first build the nuclear weapons and we also had to first build the B-29 Superfortress ,a plane which Russia stole from us, to carry Little Boy and Fat Man to Japan. So yes Russia has a few geniuses but we American's had and still have quite a few ourselves.
KJER ERRT ahem, Tu-4
what about the kv1s?
The T-28 is considered to be a Medium Tank
but not the t35
Min.: 13:17 przecież to był żart modelarza, a nie prawdziwy prototyp.
*OH HAIL KV 2 BIAS*
Wait kv 5 behemoth?I thought that was kv 6
T-100-Y also known as Su-100y
Oh yeah and where is IS-7?or did I just missed that since
Kv-6 is not real tank, its a fake (sorry my english, I'm russian)😁
The is-7 is created in 1946!!!
IS-2 SH exist ?
The KV-2's gun is a howitzer not a naval gun.
Are there the kv-2-2-2??
Maybe it's not real i only heard it it's like a kv-2 but with 3 heads stack onto one another
SU and KV tanks are OP
If the kv-1 was a panzer iv destroyer, why didn't they think of using the su-100y gun?
Because she didn't fit into the tank's turret
if you don't love the KV 2 there is something wrong with you😁
very good
Thanks

Where is object 279?
you missed the kv 8
Beauty, great, funny, interesant, fine, etc. video!
Cant wait to unlock my su-100y
Are you sure some of these WWI tanks aren't fictional? There's almost no info on them.
ISU-152 IN A BL-10? MONSTER😍😍
KV-2's main gun is M-10 howitzer, not a naval gun.
+wangl601 yeah, but the first few KV-2 tanks were armed with re-bored 6 inch / 152mm naval guns from scrapped russian cruisers , the M-10 was just a mass-prodused version of those original 6 inch guns

wangl601 oh crap, i meant the 1909/30 howitzer , not naval gun , damn , i gotta change it
Oh, that's quite common. I was even thinking if that's an imported 6 inch naval gun during imperal Russia period........ xD
Don't you mean 107 mm naval gun?
Not KV-5 behemoth it is actually KV-6 behemoth bro im just saying
Good video.
You forgot T-34 series and IS-7
Is-7 was build in 1946, t-34 is not heavy tank(sorry my english, I'm russian)
The KV-13 is actually a medium tank.
kv2のこの映像初めて見た すごい
探せばあるもんだな
ISU/Su 152 are TD's. 100Y too. Some are artillery.
Damned Jerry heavy tank destroyers
The heavier, the sexier.
