      "Calibre-K" (export designation: eng. Club-K) - Russian container complex of missile weapons, placed in a standard 20-and 40-foot sea container. Designed to defeat surface and ground targets. The complex can be equipped with coastal troops, ships of various classes, railway and automobile platforms. It is a modification of the Kalibr missile system.
      s001.radikal.ru/i195/1309/1b/11b9b0fb4f58.jpg
      The system can be used from ground starting positions, sea, railway and automobile platforms. Anti-ship missiles (3M-54KE, 3M-54KE1, X-35UE) and missiles for hitting ground targets (3M-14KE, X-35UE) can be used.
      The main element of the complex is a universal launch module, made in the form of a standard sea container. The basic structure includes from one to four universal launch modules, the ammunition of one universal launch module of the Club-K complex is 4 missiles, each launch module is completely Autonomous.
      The standard configuration of the universal starter module includes:
      the fire control system;
      launcher vertical (for missiles 3M-54KE, 3M-54KE1, 3M-14KE) or inclined (for missiles H-35UE) launch;
      combat control, communications and navigation equipment;
      power supply, life support and fire extinguishing systems.
      It can be used in conjunction with active-passive or passive radar systems (including container version), which allow to detect, identify, locate and determine the coordinates of the target at a distance exceeding the range of missiles. It can receive target designation data from any coastal, ship, aviation, satellite systems and complexes.
      The Kalibr missiles were created on the basis of two projects: the 3m10 strategic nuclear cruise missile with a combat radius of 2500 km developed during the period from 1975 to 1984 at smkb Novator, and the alpha anti-ship missile competition (Biryuza ROC). The range of 3M14 is from 2000 km to 2600 km (in thermonuclear combat).

Might be why you do not hear anything on the news about Russian cargo ships being taken by somali pirates lol

    3:14 It may be a scary tank.......but I think the French made something similar to the Mendeleev tank. I think it was called the St. Chamond, and those things didn't do too well during trench warfare. I don't know why the St. Chamond fared poorly.....but I think I remember it had to do
    with the vehicle being too long, and its suspension being too short.....or something like that
    *BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!* I guess that the Mendeleev could've performed well on the Eastern front (during WW1), where the conditions, and terrain there were much more forgiving. Most people remember that the Western front (during WW1) shit holed into trench warfare. But what some people don't realize is that the Eastern front didn't degrade as much into trench warfare. Meaning that armies had more space to move. It's, because of this that the Germans were able to use infantry, and horse cavalry VERY EFFECTIVELY against the Russians. In fact, it's one of the reasons why the Germans were able to knock out the Russians rather early during this conflict (also sorta explains why the Germans were able to last as long as they did, despite being sandwiched on 2 sides)

    This could maybe be a hilarious, and potentially useful concept if they found a way to shrink it down and basically turn it into a heavily armored shipping container bunker. And as a force pushes into enemy territory, they can drive these ups with their HEMTTs or whatever else can carry an 18 wheeler load, maybe dig some trenches around it (or even bury it if they’re gonna be there a while) and boom, prebuilt bunker to hold your new forward defensive position haha

    I wonder what was behind the idea of mounting the machine gun turret in the middle of the vehicle where it probably couldn't be used against any infantry closer than a 100 or more yards/meters. It would probably do better against infantry on its sides but from the front and back, not so much.
