I think the Memo Memo no Mi needs elaboration on what's considered a memory. A memory from the way Pudding uses it is just a flash of images but it would be impossible to wipe memories of an event. For instance the Memo Memo would never affect procedural memory. Even if pudding ripped out all of your memories you'd still be able to walk and talk.
