Your voice-over was excellent, keep doing that IMO. Lovely trip, so much more interesting than the thousand videos of Shibuya Sky and Golden Gai. I'll be in Japan in 6 weeks, first time and I can hardly wait lol.
Thanks for the feedback! 🙏🏻 Definitely check out the less touristy spots, the places everyone visits are cool but there are so many hidden gems that are run by incredible people and don’t have insane TikTok/insta queues. I’m sure you’ll make amazing memories! :)
Definitely! I enjoyed visiting Japan so much that I just got back from my third visit this year. It’s beautiful and I really appreciate the hospitality, the amazing food, beautiful nature, and incredible culture that Japan has to offer. Thank you for your kindness. ありがとうございます
Hi, I am Japanese now living in Yokohama next to Tokyo but I am originally from MATSUMOTO. I am glad you experienced my home town. I love your adventure. Your spontaneous travel spirit is wonderful.
Matsumoto and the surrounding area is a beautiful part of Japan. The Sake from the area is also very good! I hope to return to Matsumoto in the future and do some more hiking in the area. Thank you for your kindness!
Really awesome Video man, loved that you went deep into the mountains. I travel very similar to you so it's nice to see you uncover some hidden gems. What was the name of the Onsen you went to in the mountains?
Thank you for your kind comment! It’s a Guesthouse called Raicho! Highly recommend it. Super friendly staff and great area for hiking and spending time in the mountains. Private Onsen visits are included in the stay and you can go as often as you like, which is pretty unique. If you plan on visiting Japan, I also highly recommend Kityokawa in Oku-tama - it’s my favorite guesthouse ever. You can do hikes and swim in the river right next to the guesthouse. If you visit, say hi to the staff from me. They’re incredible and some of the kindest people I’ve ever met!
Hahaha at this point I think you just have to embrace the look and wear a helmet at all times 🥹😂 On a serious note, Japan is really nice in the cooler months! It’s not nearly as crowded (or as hot 💀). I didn’t hit my head that often, because the ‘low’ obstructions are often at or below eye level, even for me. You will stand out in the crowd though, but that just makes for easy navigation in busy areas. Maybe bring some socks for when the blankets are

Thank you! ♥️
Going solo late next month when it's cooler. How many times can i expect to hit my head as a 6'7" guy? 😂

Which camera do you use?
Sony A7C ii for almost everything, with a few iPhone 15 pro shots mixed in there too
