Thanks for your kind words Erkan. I am almost done my videos for long sensory pathways. Here are some videos on brainstem and nuclei: ruclips.net/p/PLF2PbpJOr9t0rz30tkEK5UZoLUbc7IdWE
You have a gift in teaching Sir! Watching your videos is more dopamine releasing than Netflix but way more useful indeed! Thank you very much. Whenever I will start earning some money, a donation would be the minimum I could do. Thank you again!
Exceptional!! Great audio and visuals!! So glad I came across this video! It's so easy to understand and gives more clarity of such complex structures!
The relation of the danger triangle of the face is because of the communication between the facial vein and cavernous sinus via the ophthalmic vein. Its not related to the pterygoid plexus correct?
+ahmadharb13 correct ... The danger triangle of the face is in relation to infection spread from the face into the cavernous sinus. The emissary vein between the pterygoid plexus of veins to the cavernous sinus provides a potential route for infections to spread from the oral cavity to the cavernous sinus.
I was showing it to all my roommates like "look guys! We all have a tiny brain garlic!!!" Did you understand which direction we're seeing it from though?

Dr. Morton, it is a joy to listen to your lectures! I wish you prepare a lecture about pain pathways, nucleuses and all that stuff one day, greetings.

How is the Cavernous sinus connected to the Facial vein and Pterygoid plexus? As in what are those connections?
The facial vein is connected to the cavernous sinus via the ophthalmic veins. The pterygoid plexus of veins connects via an emissary vein.
The facial vein becomes the angular vein which drains into the opthalmic vein which in turn drain into the cavernous sinus. Is that correct to say?
+ahmadharb13 yes that is correct
