6 years later and WOW the way you present this topic is just phenomenon!! I'm literally speechless. Thank you
Thank you very much
I'm at a loss for words on how great this video is
6 years later, this video is still saving millions of confused med students (myself included, literally today). Thank you for your dedication and continued hard work to provide this level of understanding for free. God bless you.
You're very welcome … thrilled to hear it’s helpful
I'm right there too!

YOU. ARE. SIMPLY. THE. BEST. TEACHER. EVER! (This is true for ALLL of your videos). Thank you!
You're very welcome!☺️
I wish I could give you a standing ovation. I mean OMG! Thank you so much. I have struggled so much to remember this. I have downloaded this. And I am subscribing your channel right away. Even though I am just one month away from my first attempt at NEET Postgraduate exams... I am sure these visuals would have a lasting impact. Lots of love and best wishes.
Disha Sahoo thank-you Disha ... I wish you all the best on your NEET exams
You masterpiece speech makes me speechless…..
Many many thanks for your kind and cordial hard work and support……

eloquent, concise, and effective. thank you
This is SUCH an incredibly high yield video.
HAHAHAHAHA! You have no ideaaaa how much the "plumber butt crack" and "your uncle's fat belly" comparisons helped me with indetifying which is the pons cross section and which is the medullar one!! I love your funny uproach to these topics .
thanks:)
The splits, Uncle Bob's belly and plumber's crack. Thank you!
You are great Sir! Thank you so much!
So nice of you
Nothing can be better than this!!!!🌈🌈

u deserve millions of subscriber sir. u did an amazing job, watching ur video before my final is the best decision i ever made.
this is just what i need to pass my neuroanatomy exam.
I have watched hundreds, if not a few thousand of videos on RUclips. You Sir, by far, have given the most clear and concise instructional video on a complex topic and made it easy to understand. My hat is off to you!
Wow, thanks! that is very kind of you
This is another fantastic distillation of CNS anatomy! I sure wish you were my anatomist 30 yrs ago when I was struggling with these concepts. My daughter is studying for boards and you are a Saint! I really enjoy your humor and candor. Well done!
That is very kind of you ... thank-you.
@The Noted Anatomist it would be much better if u could have used much better diagrams
Beautiful work! Loved the video,
THOUGH around 2:46 there is a problem with the animation with the arrows and lines pointing to random parts close to the corpus callosum instead of the midbrain.
I know right! That is crazy. I usually watch the entire video once through to make sure there was nothing wrong with the animations but evidently i missed this one :(
Are brainstem and spinal cord same?
Amina Abdul Bari it all depends how you look at them. Anatomy books will always say they are different and we name them so. However, they have many of the same features and if you can see them it makes it much more understandable to learn them both.
Dude!!! OMG, guys this man is a legend, he just put the whole anatomy of the brainstem in my brain.
Thank you very much sir and please never stop making videos, this was extremely helpful, thanks again!
2:04 to 2:52 there's a glitch in the position of your drawing relative to the pen outline as you're drawing. just a heads up
Anyone randomly say SHIINNNGG? LOL
2:30 is a powerpoint failure right?
I really enjoy your video's one of the best part is that you always give the orientation of the view, besides you also first throw the big picture and then start filling the details.
Also cant thankyou enough for explaining the word roots of the terminologies.
Haha thanks for your work
8:08 fave part 😂 thank you soooooo much for this, what an incredible (and funny) video! really helped me solidify the concepts I encountered in my neuroscience class
27:44, beautiful as well 😂
Do not have any exam. I love these anatomical presentations because it reminds me of the mindblowing complexity and organisational Intelligence of any life system, not to mention how its functions "live" so to speak.
I like it being fascinated, falling in awe.
And here this is a common part we have with mammals... The midbrain of my cat.. gosh!
Thank you so much!! I watched your two videos on the brainstem and have learned more in those two videos about the brainstem than I have by all of my medical school professors. You are amazing!!
8:14 mid brain 20:25 Pons 26:19 Medulla
Thank you, finally all the messed up information in my head got organised and makes sense now!
Glad I could help!
And Shinnnn.... 😅🤗

i liked your video so much.....you make this topic so simple and the way you describe it so incredible !!!!!! you make anatomy so interesting and fun learning.....thank you ''the noted anatomist"
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks very much. This has made it easy for me to understand the brain stem anatomy. Bravo!
I had a tumor on motor skills section of my brain removed....not cancer...plus I had a brain full of lesions. I still don't know how I got strep in my brain. It was so full the lesions were ready to enter cerebral cortex. I still don't understand my lesions... I'm doing my best 4 years later.
What are lesions. My brain looked full of worms.
I am second year med student-excellent thanks a lot for teaching !! all videos are amazing and helpful..
😂3 years have passed since you put the comment, hows 5th year of medical school?
So grateful I found your videos. I just started Neuro and needed the help. Izard there any pdfs associated with the videos?
Thanks!
excellent video! some of the animations are misaligned (especially on the tectum, in the first 5 minutes)
jbrowsingj hi ... can u help me know how the animations are misaligned? They look normal on my end
Some time stamps: 2:05 - 2:20 the arrow pointing to the tectum is too superior (I may be wrong! I only just learned about the tectum from your video.)
2:34-2:36 this arrow on the tectum seems to move around in blank space.
2:48 the animation in blue showing the cerebral aqueduct is not aligned with the cerebral aqueduct in the diagram, instead it appears much more superior + anterior.
There may be another or two but that's all I have for now.
Not a big deal by any means!
jbrowsingj thanks ... what likely happened is I had the arrow in one place and discussed it for a few seconds before moving the arrow. Thanks for your feedback. All the best in your studies.
Oh plz Dr how can u make this topics interesting like this
I’m really thankful that I could find u on RUclips
THANK YOUUUUUU
