Thank you to those who let us know the title of our video was very similar to another youtuber's channel. We changed our thumbnail and wanted to clarify we are not doing a collab with the "A Hoarder's Heart" channel. Miss Heart has quite the following and seems to be doing some great mental health advocacy so make sure to check her out! After you watch our video of course.
    Hi friends!
The Tidy Two take on their biggest project yet. Watch as we take EVERYTHING out of this garage, declutter with the homeowner, and put everything back together, transformed and organized!
Most importantly, witness us helping someone with a big heart create healthy boundaries with her things and say goodbye to SO MUCH CLUTTER.
If you enjoy EXTREME DECLUTTER and ULTRA ORGANIZATION then go ahead and subscribe to our channel! We have a cleaning video for almost every room in the house and plenty of tips and tricks to help with your everyday or deep cleaning.
Thank you to our almost 900 SUBSCRIBERS! We are beyond grateful and can't believe that so many people enjoy watching us tidy. Thank you all for the support. Please share our videos with someone in need of cleaning motivation and like and subscribe if you haven't already.

Quick shout out to Filmora for the incredible film editing program at an affordable cost. This is one of my only monthly subscriptions and if you are making content on youtube you simply must check it out.

A huge thank you to the wonderful Pixabay.com They are simply wonderful for their selection of FREE MUSIC, IMAGES, VIDEOS, and MORE! Make sure to check them out.
We have one more video in our storage series and after this school will be starting. We plan on continuing to post weekly, however Lana is a teacher and Lara will be doing a lot more projects as well.
Please let us know ahead of time if there are any types of videos or cleans you would like to see. We genuinely want your input!
    So please let us know....

Just subscribed, here is my tried and tested tip for garage sale decluttering, feel free to use it. Try to do your decluttering a week or two before the sale. Before you pull EVERYTHING out of the garage, empty and sweep the front third to one half(depending) and arrange your tables in the letter “cee” with the opening at the front. Wipe off and place every item for the sale onto the tables, put bins of grouped items like toys underneath the tables and then put large items in front of the tables that you can easily pull out of the garage on the day of the sale. This way, you have only touched the item once and don’t have to worry about putting it all back in and THEN setting it up for the sale. If you haven’t finished the decluttering, ask a friend or older teenager to be the cashier, while you continue to go through bins during the sale (behind the table set up) and put the stuff right out on the newly emptied spaces. (I wouldn’t do sentimental stuff at this time but random tubs stuff that you put aside during the initial sort.) Definitely plan to do a Friday/Saturday sale with everything free on Saturday or at least after 11:00 a.m. ( some people even have a Thursday evening preview from 4:00-7:00 if there are alot of other sales happening, and again,if you have a cashier,YOU can keep sorting)🙌🏻. When I have a HUGE amount (because my friends give me their donations to sell and I keep the money) I always have it for two weekends in a row and everything is half price on the entire last Saturday, then I donate EVERYTHING that’s left to my Humane Society Thrift Shop.🙌🏻

I think it's crazy that people don't park in their garages. I feel like in the 1990s it was absolutely never done that people parked outside their garage and filled it instead with stuff. It makes neighborhoods look so tacky. My house has a really small garage (newer home even) and I get that the monster trucks/SUVs made now don't fit. But then that's also car bloat too. UGH. /end rant

amychen2504: 🙌🏻 This is also my rant,we have always had both cars in our garage because I host a huge garage sale twice a year which results naturally in a clean and declutter. However, what really astounded me was what Peter Walsh, the organization guru, said years ago. “After our home, the largest financial investment most of us have is our cars,so why are boxes of dead aunt Mildred’s linens taking up all of the space in our garage, while our vehicles are get ruined outside?! Also, many of my neighbors live in little brick houses built in the fifties with a single little garage,so how did they park the HUGE family car in there with the big fins, etc.?😅😂🤣🤔🤨

@@lauramitchell6725 that's me. Lol. I inherited my parents 1950 Cape Cod with a 1 car detached garage.
It would be a tight fit for my lil VW GTI with all the duplicate tools and nearly 75 years worth of stuff, but it's impossible anyway because the riding mower takes up half the floor space.
I have reorganized and done a surface level purge of trash. I am having my landscaper friend come over and help me decide what to keep prior to next years community yard sale (he gets first pick).
There's no way I need all 4 tillers (one is massive), 3 chainsaw, 3 hedge trimmers, 3 leaf blower/vacs, etc. Granted, I did bring my tools with me when I moved in, but there were definitely multiples before me. Lol.
I'm looking forward to the organizing and purging! Even what I had already done helped me be able to move around in there tremendously.

@@renfairegoddess Oh my,do you have room to buy a garden shed for all of the tools? I must confess that ours is the secret to our success. But that means that none of that is in the garage. We also utilize all of the vertical spaces.
