Thank you. You are the only channel that posts tips and tricks.
Everyone else is either over-the-top trashing or low-key marketing these devices for tech companies.
Gregg, I just want to thank you for the excellent content in this video. After picking up my Surface Duo 2 yesterday, I was looking for an introduction to the device which I could title "Surface Duo 2 for Dummies"! Best regards, Ken
Do you still have it
Well! If this is not the most informative video that flagship phone makers should be providing with their product...Very useful! Thank you! 🙌
4:19 swiping up doesn't get rid of the news/glance. That screen is the end of the road in the launcher so swiping left will get you back to a home screen.
I would much rather buy this over the Fold3 and save $250. Duo 2 is a Much more solid phone compared to the Fold that damages by Fingernails. The Duo in Phone Mode is WAY more usable than the Fold's Front screen... A lot more Space. Better camera specs too.
Awesome Video!
Thanks for your great tips bro. I buy phones after watching your videos!!
Tent mode is a bit of a missed opportunity to not be able to use both screens with individual apps for two people sitting in either side of the table.
Very helpful video. A must for new surface duo 2 users. Thanks Gregg
Hey Gregg, great video, thank you for all the tips, keep up the great work.
I love that wallpaper you have on your phone, what country is that and where can I get that wallpaper?
bing
Is there something else you did to get smart home stuff to show when you hold power button? How does it know which devices you want there?
Please can you tell how to change zoom virtual background. I can't find that option
I don’t like the square icons is there a way to change them like you can on a Samsung device?
May I ask you whether Czech language (čeština) is available in Settings-Language on Surface Duo 2?
Great video gregg. Is it possible to use both screens in tentmode?
I can't fully remember cuz I don't have the phone anymore but I want to say yes
but no. not possible on the duo 2
You are my go to guy for my samsung galaxy z fold 3. So im watching a video for a phone i dont have and will never buy...lol
4k60fps video mode!??? Wow? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thats insane
I don't even own a surface duo hahaha and I can say this es informative hahaha nice video...
Question, on samsung phones what should be enabled and disabled in developer options, very confusing thanks
Hi, I saw your quick access bar in home screen is semi-transparent, and the background wallpaper could slightly go through the quick access. My surface duo can only see a black color instead. I was wondering is there any options inside the setting I can do to make mine same as yours?
no 4k 60 with hdr on.
has anyone noticed that the color temperature for the screens is slightly off? it's pretty annoying.
Ooh I get a better look at that that's interesting
@@GregglesTV you won't be able to unsee it now, especially with lighter colored wallpapers. sorry.
Would be helpful if you gave a timestamp. Can't find this issue in this video.
@@rrrbin1400 this issue is very subtle and won't be noticeable in a video. but, if you own a surface duo you will probably be able to perceive the difference in temperature quite easily. I purchased a mint condition duo generation 1 on swappa last week. I absolutely love the device. I use it as a secondary device and make no illusions about it replacing my Galaxy Note 20. It can't match up to the Galaxy in a variety of ways. But if you're looking for a hybrid PDA/tablet/laptop thing, you feel like you're holding the future.
@@jakenasz3428 I own one, for the same purpose as you. It's a secondary device that shines in multitasking scenarios for job or leisure purposes. In that field it is quite unique and has no real competition. I've seen some very shallow angle photos of screen temp differences, but so far no video proof. 'Pretty annoying' and 'very subtle' are two decidedly different things in my book.
Tip #1 Throw it in the trash where it belongs.
I'm pretty sure it's better than your phone.
