  • Both Daniel Baekkegard and Magnus Ditlev are rising stars in the world of professional triathlon. PTO World Rankings inside the top 15 put them within striking distance of becoming greats within the sport.
    However, it's not been an easy ride. From fighting the Scandinavian cultural law of Janteloven, to being sacked from the Olympic team and enduring two major crashes, both athletes have faced immense adversity within their early careers.
    Now they are ready to embark on a mission to become the best in the world in 2022.

    That win in Austria was pretty epic, I could understand the finishline emotion, even before the back story. Next time someone tells you to celebrate more or less or how to feel, just ask them to show you how it's done next time they win an ironman

    i really hope Daniel keeps on kicking banners down if he wins another ironman (annoying you couldnt use the footage)

    Met Magnus at Portugal 70.3 - great guy and a absolute machine on the bike, he was fastest pro and i was fastest amateur on the bike - both with self made aero bar covers :-))) love how the guy races

    What's the point of telling a bunch of you tube viewers that you are aiming to be the best at your sport? Isn't that obvious and expected from a pro athlete?
    I can understand saying that once, in case someone missed what pro means, but for a whole 10 minutes ?
    It seems a message tailored for superficial rhetoric that unfortunately is pervasive in US sports and fitness culture.
    Head down, less talking, the facts speak for you.
