  • We always look for birds and dolphins when targeting yellowfin tunas down here in Cabo San Lucas, than we like to use cedar plugs and a flying fish with a kite to get it far away from the boat.

    Should be a minimum size for yellowfin, those are way too small

    I hate being a wet blanket... But those are probably a year old, 7 years too young. I'm curious about why you kept them, as opposed to catch and release. I'm genuinely curious.

      We spend over $1500 usd to go harvest them tunas and they were great eating.

      @@Tagcabosportfishing I'm personally surprised, cos over here (central Mediterranean) there is a minimum catch size of 60kg for BFT, we don't really get YFTs here. But if you're caught with them illegally you could get some SERIOUS fines.
